2019 saw the arrival of so many celebrity babies, from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s firstborn, Archie, to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’s third child. And there will be even more A-list children making their debut in 2020. Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden were two of the first celebs to welcome a baby (a girl named Raddix), but they certainly won’t be the last.

“We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden. She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family,” the couple wrote on Instagram in January. “From our family to all of yours, we’re sending our love and best wishes for a Happy New Year and Happy New Decade.”

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden Have Welcomed Their First Child


Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have welcomed their first child together, the couple confirmed on Friday, January 3.

“Happy New Year from the Maddens,” they wrote in an Instagram post. “We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden. She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family. While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little one’s privacy. So we won’t be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really really cute. Some would even say say RAD. From our family to all of yours, we’re sending our love and best wishes for a Happy New Year and Happy New Decade…”

This tight-lipped post shouldn’t surprise fans. Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have always been private about their relationship, so it makes sense they’d be guarded about their first child together.

“He’s just my partner in life, in everything,” Diaz said to People about Madden back in June. “I’ve never had anyone who supported me so much and gave me so much courage to be myself and to really explore myself.”

She added, “My husband has been able to show me what it’s like to […] be an equal,” Diaz explained. “And I’ve learned so much from him. I look at him every day and he inspires me. I feel so lucky.”

In February 2016, a source told People that Diaz was ready to start a family. “She has settled in, settled down and wants to have a family,” they said. “She is doing everything she can to enjoy this time in her life. She is feeling fulfilled and wants to be a mom.”

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Reportedly Welcomed Their Third Child Two Months Ago


Congratulations are in order for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds! The couple has welcomed their third child together — but according to Us Weekly‘s sources, it happened almost two month ago.

Few other details, including the baby’s name or sex, have been revealed — and considering how tight-lipped the parents typically are about their relationship and kids, don’t expect them to spill the beans anytime soon.

Lively’s pregnancy announcement also came as a shock to fans. In May, the actress stepped out at her husband’s movie premiere for Pokémon: Detective Pikachu sporting a baby bump. She confirmed the pregnancy news with a cheeky Instagram post, captioning a carousel of photos of her and Reynolds “PokeMOM…. Out now.”

While neither Lively nor Reynolds have personally confirmed the arrival of their newest little one, Reynolds and Lively were spotted on a dinner date at NYC’s Take Room on Friday — the same day reports just happened to break of their baby news. The actor even shared a selfie from their night out (perhaps that was his way of commenting on the baby news?) in which a blurry Blake wears a black pinstriped top and gold necklace and looks unprepared for the pic, as her husband smiles into the camera. Lively reposted the pic shouting out jewelry brand Marla Aaron and adding a hot dog emoji to boot.

The couple already share two daughters, 4-year-old James and 3-year-old Inez. Reynolds waited for about three months after James’s birth to reveal her name on the Today Show. And Us Weekly only confirmed news that they had welcomed Ines to the family in December 2016, three months after she was born in September 2016.

Hilary Duff Just Welcomed Her Second Child—and Her Name Is Beautiful


A major congratulations is in order for Hilary Duff. The Younger actress just welcomed her second child, a daughter named Banks Violet Bair. (It’s Duff’s first child with boyfriend Matthew Koma. Her son Luca is from her previous marriage to hockey player Mike Comrie.)

Banks was born on Thursday, October 25, but Duff officially announced her arrival on Instagram last night (October 29). “Banks Violet Bair❤️ this little bit has fully stolen our hearts! She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic,” Duff posted alongside a photo of her holding Banks as Koma looks on with a smile.

Duff announced in June that she and Koma were expecting a baby girl together. “Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!!!????,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. Koma made a separate announcement on his Instagram, writing, “We made a baby girl! She will be as beautiful and sweet as her mother… @hilaryduff another incredible chapter begins.”

The “Sparks” singer has been open about the good times with this pregnancy as well as the difficult. In July, she posted an incredibly transparent Instagram about her pregnancy frustrations that many mothers responded to. “Man.. pregnancy is hard,” she wrote. “Giving love to all mamas who make it look effortless… this journey is hard as hell and also incredibly special. Lovely to have a little life inside and to day dream of all the new adventures to come buuuut almost impossible to get my own shoes on..sick of getting up 9 times a night to pee and looking at this weird body in the mirror that is not my own at the moment. Women are so bad ass, this was just a note to remind myself and remind others how’s strong and beautiful you are! WE GOT THIS.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Have Reportedly Welcomed a New Addition to Their Family


Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may not be welcoming any royal babies quite yet, but they did just add a very special new addition to their family: a dog.

According to People, the couple became proud parents to a puppy (likely a labrador) earlier this summer. The palace has yet to release any photos or further information on the little guy (or girl?), but it does seem that Markle and Harry opted to adopt instead of shop for their new pet.

The dog, who is reportedly referred to as “The Labrador of Kensington Palace” (a title well fit for a royal doggo), “is already happily ensconced at their cottage,” a source tells The Daily Mail. “Like the Sussexes, the dog will divide its time between the palace and their country home in the Cotswolds.”

Maybe there will be some doggy playdates in the future, too: Prince William and Kate Middleton also adopted a cocker spaniel named Lupo shortly after their own royal wedding in 2011.

Meghan has been a dog mom long before she was a princess. While living in Toronto, she adopted two dogs — Bogart and Guy. Sadly she had to leave Bogart in Toronto when she moved to London last year because of his advanced age. Her Beagle, Guy, however, made the trip across the pond and has been living with the royal couple ever since.

As much as the Duchess of Sussex loves dogs, it appears they love her too. When she first met queen Elizabeth’s corgis, the palace fixtures took to Markle immediately. “For the last 33 years, I’ve been barked at,” Prince Harry said of his wife’s first meeting with the Queen’s furry brood. “This one walks in and absolutely nothing! Just wagging tails.”

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Just Welcomed Baby Number 2


Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have officially welcomed baby number two.

“Somebody’s herrrrrrre,” Teigen tweeted late Wednesday night (May 16) alongside two bottle emojis and two happy-face emojis. Check it out for yourself, below:

That’s all the information we have about Teigen and Legend’s baby at this time. In November, the couple announced they were expecting their child in the cutest way: Teigen uploaded a video a photo of her first daughter, Luna, touching her stomach. She asked her, “Luna, what’s in here?” And Luna replied, “Baby!” “Is it a baby?” Teigen asked again, confirming the news that she was, indeed, pregnant.

In classic Chrissy Teigen fashion, the Cravings author kept us posted on her pregnancy via several hilarious tweets. One tweet in February was particularly relatable. “This baby is sucking the life from me,” she wrote. “Drinking my water, making me dry. Eating my food, making me hungry. Taking my health, making me sick. Why do we create these monsters they want us dead.”

Teigen’s baby shower for her second child was nothing short of fabulous, too. Several of her famous friends were in attendance, including Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner; Shake Shack was the food of choice; and she had five “Legend”-themed cakes that still give me dessert FOMO, even weeks later.

“A Legend in the making,” one of the cakes read.

“You’re a legend,” read another.

Better than the cakes, though, was the fact Legend seemed to give an impromptu concert at the shower.

There’s no word yet on the sex of Legend and Teigen’s baby or any other details. We’ll update this story when the couple posts updates.
