An Open Conversation With Real Housewives on the Plastic Surgery They've Had Done

It sounds like something out of an Andy Cohen fever dream: a group of beloved Real Housewives gathered together to film a music video celebrating all the work they’ve had done. But, somewhat miraculously, it actually happened—all thanks to Fiber One, whose new campaign highlights the “work” the brownie has undergone to have less calories, less net carbs, and less grams of sugar. (Get it?)

The accompanying song, “Work Done,” includes lyrics like “Yeah, I’ve had some work done but Rome wasn’t built on wishes” and a video featuring what I’d call the champagne-soaked Justice League: Melissa Gorga (Real Housewives of New Jersey), Porsha Williams (Real Housewives of Atlanta), Sonja Morgan (Real Housewives of New York), Dorinda Medley (Real Housewives of New York), and Tamra Judge (Real Housewives of Orange County).

“Obviously, Housewives are known for putting it all out there,” Gorga says when I meet up with her, Williams, and Morgan the day after the campaign’s launch. “When I heard I was going to be in a music video—which, by the way, my fans have been asking me to do for years—I was very excited about it. The fans are going crazy because there’s Housewives from different franchises together, we’re singing, we’re dancing…I mean, we’re giving everybody everything they’ve ever wanted.”

For Williams, it’s important to make it clear the song’s message is all about celebrating who you are, in whatever way that looks like to you. “If you’ve had actual work done, surgically or not, it’s a lifestyle of living better and being guilt free,” she explains.

Says Morgan, “We like to empower women and not put them down and say, ‘Oh, you’ve had your nose done’ and ‘you’ve had your boobs done.’ We’re not about that.”

“It’s not about shaming,” Gorga adds. “If something is going to make you feel a little more confident—if you want the bump out of your nose, if you want to enhance your boobs, whatever it may be—it’s it’s fair and it’s you. If it makes you feel good, then good for you.”

Here, we ask the women to tell us more: about plastic surgery, about the pressure of being on TV, and what work, if any, they might do next.

Glamour: So what work have you had done?

Sonja Morgan: Everybody wants to know that!

Claire and Jamie Are the Sexiest They've Been in Months in This New *Outlander* Sneak Peek

Ask any Outlander fan what they love about the show, and the sex scenes between Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) will inevitably come up. Of course, those romantic moments aren’t the only thing we love about the time-traveling series, but…yeah, they’re high on the list.

Here’s the thing, though: Claire and Jamie don’t get that many opportunities to, uh, get down. They’ve spent the past three seasons constantly being separated by dramatic circumstances—a battle, a wayward horse, typhoid fever, to name just a few. And when they are together, they’re usually around smelly sailors, smelly soldiers, or smelly Rollo. Not sexy.

Considering all of that, it’s incredible they’ve found any moment alone—even Heughan agrees. “It’s amazing how their love lasts,” he told Glamour earlier this year. “They haven’t lost anything in their passion for each other, even though they seem to get very little time together. There’s always something going on.”

This season, however, Claire and Jamie have settled down to build their first home together. And naturally, Outlander fans hope this means more sexy times are on the horizon. Heughan promises that’s the case: “That’s one of the great joys of this season: They finally get to be together, somewhere safe and theirs to call their own.”

Claire and Jamie might be nesting, but that doesn’t mean they still don’t get the occasional interruption. Watch this exclusive sneak peek from this week’s upcoming episode—titled “Blood of My Blood”—and you’ll see what I mean:

“With all the sex scenes, or anything like that, we always try to approach them from a place of empowerment—not only the characters, but of the actors and the audience,” Balfe told Glamour about the show’s steamier scenes.

Outlander airs Sundays at 8 P.M. ET on Starz.

People on Twitter Are Sharing the Awkward Things They've Told Celebrities, and It's a Gold Mine

If you’ve ever daydreamed about meeting a celebrity—say, Taylor Swift or Lady Gaga—you’ve likely imagined the best-case scenario. You and the superstar instantly hit it off; you take a cute picture; and maybe they even remember you the next time you bump into each other in the meet-and-greet line or at Whole Foods. But as one Twitter account pointed out this week, that’s truly the best-case situation—and sometimes, the interactions go awry thanks to a little case of being starstruck.

On November 6, Twitter user @rachymarshall asked her followers to straight-up share the not-so-smooth things they’ve ever said to a celebrity. Hundreds of people have responded since then—and their self-submitted stories of awkward comments and personal questions are hilarious.

Taylor Swift

“When I met Taylor Swift she complimented me on my necklace and I bragged to her about how I got it on sale for 2 for 20 the day before and she told me she would check that out while she was wearing a $2k jacket,” wrote one fan.

(She also posted a pic of aforementioned necklace—complete with Swift.)

One Twitter user wrote that during her run-in, she told the pop icon, “‘I will shoot myself if I don’t tell you this’ to Taylor Swift which is a little more aggressive than what I meant, which was ‘I’ll never forgive myself if I don’t tell you this’ and then continued to blubber and cry.”

Another fan shared some casual growth-spurt chat with Swift.

Lady Gaga

“I once told gaga she looked like MARY antoinette (i meant marie),” wrote @rachymarshall, the originator of this delightful thread.

Harry Styles

“I told @Harry_Styles he should start a winery called Sign of the Vines,” confessed one fan.

“I love you so much harry i’m so sorry i’m such a loser i’m so sorry,” another Twitter user admitted they told the singer.

This fan got super-honest with him: “Harry Styles: Hi, how are you?,” they wrote. “Me: I have to pee.”

The Riverdale Crew

“When i met camila and lili from riverdale instead of asking for s group hug i said “Could you sandwich me” and everyday i regret that ajdbsks but they laughed and were nice about it so i guess it was okay,” one fan wrote.

Adam Driver

“I met adam driver when i was 16 and i showed him my driver’s license and said ‘i, too, am a driver’ and he fake laughed,” wrote another Twitter user.

Jude Law

As one fan recounted, “I met Jude Law, and the only thing I had on me for him to sign was a pad of penguin paper (I was 21 at the time ?). So, in that anxious rushed moment I said ‘WILL YOU SIGN MY PENGUIN PAPER!’ – he looked at me, laughed, and happily obliged. ?”

Halsey

This one is, well, sweet: “I told halsey i worry about her,” one user wrote.

Hozier

One fan dropped a casual line:

Rita Ora—or Not

“At the VMAs red carpet, security was blocking our view so I thought I saw Rita Ora so I started screaming ‘RITA RITA.’ Turns out it was Bebe Rehxa,” a fan admitted.

Miranda Kerr

“Met Miranda Kerr in Central Park and after taking a photo she told me I smelled really good…to which I replied: thanks it’s my sweat ???,” one Twitterer said.

Seth Meyers

“Once I met @sethmeyers with my dad. My Dad: Seth, can I get a picture? Seth: Sure! my dad whips out camera Seth: You don’t want to be in it? My Dad: No.”

Happy Saturday, one and all.

Celebrities Reveal the Most Random Things They've Asked Their Assistants To Do

A celebrity’s job involves being in the public eye. We see them everywhere—on our screens, in magazines, on billboards. What we don’t see, though, is the behind the scenes work it takes to make it all happen: And for most, that involves a trusted assistant. Yes, these celebrities rely on their assistants to keep track of their hectic schedule and run errands—but for most, an assistant is more than just a paid helper who uploads pictures to their Instagram or stocks the fridge. They often become friends, confidants, and honorary therapists.

Still, you know these assistants get asked to do some pretty crazy stuff. In fact, one celebrity told us off the record that he has his assistant pick up his marijuana supply for him. Lucky for you, others were more forthcoming about their super random requests. Below, they tell all.

Uzo Aduba: “Since I’m a kid, I love this sandwich—turkey, lettuce, tomato, pickles, American cheese, extra mayo, not cold, nothing heated—and one night I had a hankering for it. Oh God, this is so embarrassing. It was maybe like 10 P.M., and my assistant doesn’t live close, or she wasn’t close [to my house], but I was like, ‘Do you mind maybe going to pick up this sandwich and bringing it to my house?’ And she’s like, ‘Now?’ And I’m like, ‘I mean, if it’s cool, if it’s on your way, whatever! But if it doesn’t work, don’t worry about it!’ And she brought it. I love you, Morgan!”

Ashley Graham: “So I was getting my stool sample tested, and I had to give my stool to my assistant, and she had to make all these errands holding my stool, and then had to do a delivery of my stool. She’ll do anything for me. People know what stool is, right?”

Niecy Nash: “I’m a beauty girl, so I’ve literally had to call my assistant and say, ‘Can you take my daughter’s braids out?’ They’re like, ‘There’s thousands of these tiny braids! That’s what we’re doing today?!’ I’m like, ‘Yes, it’s hair day!’”

Jenna Lyons: “I had my assistant boil an egg at home and bring it in for my salad. Because the place that I order my salad from wouldn’t put an egg on it. And it was my favorite place.”

Patrick Starr: “I asked them to build my Christmas tree and stack it on top of my patio table because I wanted a little more glam this year.”

Julia Michaels: “I had my last assistant plan a birthday party for me. But that entailed getting plastic balls for a ball pit, getting tons of balloons, a donut wall, etc.”
