Priyanka Chopra Jonas Wore $50 Jeans With a $3,100 Bag


Some of the greatest love stories of our time are about the bonds between a celebrity and their affordable fashion favorites, as well as about how they mix them with the very luxurious pieces a celebrity salary gets you. Meghan Markle hasn’t quit & Other Stories and Aritzia since becoming a duchess and having access to more custom Givenchy than the average person can dream of. And as much as Taylor Swift devotedly wears Versace on the red carpet, she reaches for Reformation dresses on her off time. Now Priyanka Chopra Jonas has revealed that she’s a fan of American Eagle denim to go with her Prada handbags. Sometimes stars do shop like us.

On Tuesday, Chopra left a salon in Los Angeles wearing a monochromatic look showcasing her best winter whites. Her outfit included a fuzzy coat, tucked-in turtleneck, and wide-leg jeans—in a combination of designer and mass-market. See, her denim was from none other than American Eagle Outfitters.

Chopra’s mohair sweater coat has been identified as Ports1961, but is sadly, it’s no longer available. The sleuths at StarStyle, however, tracked down her handbag, attributing it to Prada. (Her Sidonie shoulder bag retails for $3,100.)

The actress and businesswoman has been busy promoting her upcoming YouTube Original special series, Just One Thing. Later this year she’ll appear in the romantic comedy Isn’t It Romantic? Despite all those exciting developments, I’d call Chopra Jonas and her $50 denim the second-greatest love story of the era—just after her fairytale marriage to Nick Jonas, of course.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Are Live-Instagramming Their Honeymoon


Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are currently on their honeymoon, and I have FOMO. Yes, that’s right: I have FOMO from a couple’s honeymoon, a party that’s specifically designated for just two people. But I have good reasons! For one, Chopra and Jonas’ postwedding getaway is happening somewhere in the Caribbean. (Meanwhile, I’m in New York City, dreading leaving my apartment because it’s so freezing.) Also, the honeymoon came as a complete surprise to Chopra, according to E! Online.

“[Jonas] surprised Priyanka with the celebration,” a source tells the outlet. “She had no idea it was going to be the Caribbean, and Nick is planning everything for the trip. It’s all a complete surprise to Priyanka. She knew it was a honeymoon trip but didn’t find out where they were going until they landed.” So…a surprise trip to the Caribbean with hot Nick Jonas in the middle of January? Yup, that sounds exactly like the kind of trip I want to be on—even if it is a couple’s honeymoon.

Jonas is posting live updates from the trip to his Instagram, which is only intensifying my FOMO. Below, check out a photo of him and Chopra looking gorgeous and rich at some villa. I’d fit right in!

On Instagram Stories, Jonas shared a video of himself staring lovingly at Chopra as she catches some air on a beach swing. This is all just so picturesque!

Jonas and Chopra tied the knot over a multiday ceremony in Jodhpur, India. They pushed back their honeymoon for work obligations, but these posts prove it was worth the wait. No worries, you two: I’ll just be over here…sad and very cold.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Are on a Couples' Ski Vacation With Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas


Newlyweds Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra spent their first Christmas as a married couple in England alongside fellow engaged lovebirds Joe Jonas and Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner—plus members of the extended family. They posed for a group shot sitting around the dinner table and got some fresh air on a walk in Warwick, Warwickshire, where Turner is from. And it’s not just been the past couple of days: Before Christmas, Nick and Priyanka joined Joe and Sophie for a series of romantic double dates in London, too.

Now the couples, along with younger brother Frankie Jonas and a few more of their friends, have taken off to Verbier, Switzerland, a town in the Alps, where they’re currently enjoying a ski trip. And although Priyanka and Nick have technically delayed their honeymoon due to the actress’s work schedule, this trip makes for a perfectly relaxing post-wedding getaway in the meantime. And thanks to social media, it looks like they’re having an incredible time in the mountains.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Are Spending Christmas With Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas


Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are living up their newlywed life in London right now, but they’re not alone: Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are with them, too. Over the weekend, the four were spotted out and about on the town on double dates, first heading to a dinner in Covent Garden on Saturday night, followed by a late lunch at a posh sushi restaurant in Mayfair on Sunday.

Given that we’re one day away from Christmas right now, we had a feeling the four might be spending the holiday together—especially since it seems like Chopra and Turner have a pretty close relationship—and it appears that our suspicions have been confirmed. Chopra posted an Instagram Sunday morning of herself in the back of a car, arms slung around the Jonas bros. “Brothers in (my) arms ?.. always and forever #christmaseve,” she captioned it.

She also posted a cute pic of the whole extended family on Sunday, including the Jonas matriarch and patriarch, as well as her mom, Madhu, and younger Jonas brother Frankie. (It appears to be from the evening before, as Chopra wore the all-white look to lunch that day—though we never hate on a good re-wear.)

Newly hitched Nick, ever one for a little #sponcon, also confirmed it in a TikTok-sponsored Instagram on Sunday, in which he wore a Santa hat filter and exercised his eyebrows: “When you’re just that excited to be spending Christmas with your beautiful wife and family ❤️ @tiktok #tiktok #christmas #mood #ad”

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Went on Not One, But Two Double Dates With Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas This Weekend


Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been in all the headlines lately, thanks to a seemingly never-ending series of (gorgeous) wedding celebrations in Mumbai. Now, however, it appears that the newlyweds are in London, where they joined Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner for a double date.

The four had a late lunch in London’s Mayfair neighborhood on Sunday—a favorite area for the friends to dine out in. Specifically, they headed to Sexy Fish, and yes, that is the restaurant’s real name.

But that wasn’t the only double date they went on: The four headed out for dinner in Covent Garden on Saturday night, too. The newlyweds were spotted holding hands as they left The Delaunay in Covent Garden, Chopra wearing a neon-green version of the knitted cardigans that have been all over Instagram. They had another guest at the meal too: the Jonas’ younger brother, Frankie.

Date nights aside, Chopra has another reason to be proud of her new husband: Nick was named GQ‘s most stylish man on Friday—and the style icon in her own right is pretty excited about it.

Time will tell if the four are spending Christmas together, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed for more London fun with these four.

Nick Jonas Nearly Broke Priyanka Chopra's Number-One Relationship Rule—Twice


In a new Instagram post from Thursday, December 20, Nick Jonas revealed Priyanka Chopra’s number-one relationship rule: never step on the train of her dress. More importantly, he then shared two examples of times he almost broke it.

“Rule number one… never step on her train,” Jonas posted to Instagram alongside two photos. The first is of Chopra and Jonas at the 2017 Met Gala. Sure enough, Jonas is standing very close to the infamously-long train of the Ralph Lauren trench coat she wore that night. Right below this is a photo the couple took during their wedding festivities the weekend of November 30. For their Americanized wedding ceremony—they also had a Hindu one—Chopra opted for another Ralph Lauren ensemble with a dangerously long train. And, yet again, Jonas nearly stepped on it. Almost, of course, is the key word there. Both of Chopra’s stunning looks went off without a hitch, and she praised Jonas in the comments section of his post for keeping his distance both times. “you always knew mister,” she wrote, according to Us Weekly. (This is, obviously, a playful rule Chopra has—not an actual one.)

It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for Chopra and Jonas, who had a multi-day wedding celebration at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India. The couple is back in India this week for two more wedding receptions.

“This has been an extremely special chapter in my life, and I wanted my husband to meet all the special people who have contributed to it,” Chopra said at the reception on Wednesday, December 19. “Thank you so much for being here, friends of my parents, my mom—who’s hosting this wonderful evening—my dad, who I know is here, thank you so much for coming and giving your blessing.”
