Nick Jonas Paid the Sweetest Tribute to Priyanka Chopra One Year After Their First Date


It’s hard to believe that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have only been dating for a year. (A year!) So much has happened: Flirty Instagram activity evolved into a summer (and fall) of headline-grabbing dates, which turned into a Tiffany engagement ring, which became a wedding at a palace in Jodhpur, India—and just a few wedding receptions. And that was all in 2018! This year, the couple’s been popping up on date nights with the other power couple in their Fab Four (Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas), killing it with their Met Gala red carpet return, and making their Cannes debut with plenty of outfit changes in tow. It’s safe to say they’ve had a pretty busy past 365 days.

Today, Jonas took a minute to write a super-sweet tribute on Instagram to Chopra to make the one-year anniversary since their first date (which, no, wasn’t the 2017 Met Gala—although that was the first time they were spotted together publicly). It features a picture of the two of them wearing one of their coordinated Cannes looks, with Jonas dipping Chopra romantically in front of a balcony.

“One year ago today I went to go see Beauty and the Beast at the Hollywood bowl with a group of friends. One of those friends was the woman that would become my best friend, my confidant, my muse, my beautiful wife. I am so grateful for our journey together so far. You make me smile every day and you inspire me to be the best version of myself. I am honored to be your husband. I love you. ❤️ @priyankachopra,” Jonas wrote.

An hour after he posted it, Chopra seems to have noticed his tag: “The most amazing thing that ever happened to me is you. I love you babs.. ?,” she replied.

Yep, it’s pretty adorable—but what about these two isn’t?

Taylor Swift Says She Regrets Dragging Joe Jonas on The Ellen Show Back in 2008


Let me take you back 11 years, to 2008, when Taylor Swift appeared on The Ellen Show and publicly dragged her then most recent ex, Joe Jonas. You definitely remember this: It was November, and Swift’s second studio album, Fearless, was about to drop. On that LP is a song inspired by Jonas called “Forever and Always,” which she revealed to host Ellen DeGeneres is a sarcastic title. This isn’t the only tea she spilled, either. In that interview, Swift also explained the method in which Jonas broke up with her: a 25-second phone call.

“It’s all right. I’m cool,” Swift told DeGeneres at the time. “You know what? It’s like when I find that person that is right for me and he’ll be wonderful, and when I look at that person, I’m not even going to be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18.”

DeGeneres and her entire studio audience were visibly shocked by this bombshell, but Swift just laughed it off. In 2019, though, she’s singing a different tune. During her appearance on The Ellen Show this week, she said one of her biggest teenage rebellions was putting Mr. Jonas on blast. “That was too much. Yeah, that was too much,” she explained. “I was 18. We laugh about it now. That was mouthy, yeah, teenage stuff there.”

Taylor Swift made her triumphant return to pop music on April 26 with her single “Me!,” which features Brendon Urie and is currently sitting at number three on Billboard‘s Hot 100. Her seventh studio album is expected to drop sometime this year, and the fan theories surrounding it have reached critical mass. Maybe her mentioning Joe Jonas in this interview is yet another clue. Could a collaboration be on the horizon? Fingers crossed.

Priyanka Chopra Went to Her First Jonas Brothers Concert and Documented the Whole Thing


Sure, Priyanka Chopra might be married to a Jonas Brother; be close friends with Sophie Turner, who is dating another Jonas Brother; and have starred in a Jonas Brothers music video. But she still hadn’t actually been to a Jonas Brothers concert—until Saturday night, that is.

Chopra attended her first-ever Jonas Brothers concert (!) over the weekend in Atlanta. And naturally, she documented the whole thing on social media. Her verdict? She loved every single moment of it.

“My first ever #jonasbrothers show. And it was incredible!!! I’m so proud of these guys!! #Family ❤️???,” she captioned an Instagram post featuring her, the band, and, in a second picture, the Jonas parents.

Throughout the night, Chopra kindly shared all the backstage action with fans through her Instagram Stories, from the line outside the venue to show-goers sending well-wishes to her husband, Nick. Behold, her play-by-play of the evening.

First, she was whisked into the Tabernacle Atlanta, where the Jonas Brothers would be performing, past what looks like crowds of fans waiting to get in.

Then, she admitted for the record that, yes, this was her first Jonas Brothers concert ever. But she was willing to give away a backstage secret or two.

Later, she came across some big Jonas Brothers fans and offered to pass along their messages to the boys.

Fellow show-goers spotted Chopra at the show, and captured some cute interactions between her and Nick—including him singing “I love you” to his wife in the crowd. (Ah, think of all the Jonas Brothers fans who have fantasized about being in Chopra’s position.)

Clearly, it was a successful night (and first Jonas Brothers concert, surely of many) for Chopra. Here’s to much more fangirling in the future. Meanwhile, we’ll be here, waiting for more tour dates to be released. C’mon, JoBros!

Priyanka Chopra, Sophie Turner, Nick Jonas, and Joe Jonas Are on Another Fabulous Vacation Together


Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Sophie Turner, and Joe Jonas continue to be living their best lives…and thankfully documenting it all for us to see on social media. The couples—along with fellow Jonas Brother, Kevin, who attended without his wife, Danielle—spent a day on a yacht in Miami, relaxing and filming impromptu “Sucker” videos.

This isn’t the first time the group has vacationed together, of course. The foursome spent the holidays together skiing in Switzerland. They love to double date everywhere from the U.S. Open in New York to romantic dinners in London. Then there was Chopra’s Amsterdam bachelorette party, where she and Turner dubbed themselves the “J Sisters.” Not to mention, Chopra and Nick’s lavish wedding ceremonies and parties in India last fall.

Now the unofficial “Sucker” world tour is hitting south Florida. Nick posted a photo of the crew with the caption, “Friends and rare days off on a Monday.”

Chopra, whose YouTube series “If I Could Tell You Just One Thing” debuts on March 27, said it was the “Best day off ever!!! @nickjonas @joejonas @sophiet #jsisters ❤️☀️???”

They took to dancing on their yacht to, what else, “Sucker.”

They also threw on Kacey Musgraves‘ “Golden Hour.”

And Joe serenaded the boat with a solo number.

Thanks to one of Nick’s posts, it seems they might be in town shooting a new Jonas Brothers video. No word on whether Turner and Chopra will be making another appearance.

Newlyweds Chopra and Jonas couldn’t help but get a little romantic, as they’re known to do. Chopra captioned a sweet photo of the couple kissing, “Making hay while the sun shines.. ☀️” While Jonas wrote, “You are my sunshine my only sunshine… #miami.”

Let it never be said that this group doesn’t know how to let loose and have a good time.

Nick Jonas Gave Priyanka Chopra a $170,750 Car Because His Song Went Number One


Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have never really done anything halfway when it comes to their relationship. They’ve had early dates at the Met Ball, hosted multiple wedding receptions to celebrate their marriage, and put their love on display in a music video for Jonas’ new song, “Sucker.”

Now, we can add extravagant gift-giving to the list. In honor of the Jonas Brothers’ “Sucker” hitting number one on the Billboard Top 100, Jonas gave his wife a brand new Mercedes Maybach. (This is the first time the Jonas Brothers have made it to the very top of the charts, previously topping at number five with “Burnin’ Up” in 2008.) It’s obviously a huge accomplishment that Jonas wanted to mark in a special way.

Chopra showed off her new ride, which she dubbed “Extra Chopra Jonas,” on Instagram, writing, “When the hubby goes number one.. the wifey gets a @maybach !! Introducing.. Extra Chopra Jonas.. haha .. I love you baby!! Yaaay! Best husband ever.” Also spotted in the photo, some (surely expensive) bubbly and Chopra’s dog, Diana.

These two are nothing if not publicly supportive of each other’s career accomplishments, as Chopra bragged about her husband’s milestone in a previous post:

The car, a 2019 Mercedes Maybach S650, starts selling at $170,750. Add in any customizations, and you have one helluva expensive gift. Perhaps Jonas credits his wife with some of the song’s success, given that “Sucker” and the accompanying video are all about the women in the Jonas Brothers’ lives. Chopra plays a starring role, alongside Joe Jonas’ fiancé, Sophie Turner, and Kevin Jonas’ wife, Danielle Jonas. The lyrics may have been a clue: “And you’re making the typical me break my typical rules. It’s true, I’m a sucker for you, yeah.”

No word yet on whether Danielle and Sophie can expect similar gifts from Joe and Kevin.

The Jonas Brothers Release a Video for their New Song "Sucker" Starring Priyanka Chopra, Sophie Turner, and Danielle Jonas


The Jonas Brothers are back, baby. The trio dropped their new single and accompanying video for “Sucker” at midnight—and it stars three very important women in their lives: Priyanka Chopra, Sophie Turner, and Danielle Jonas.

The song is an ode to being so head over heels for someone you’ll do anything they ask. With lyrics like “I’m a sucker for you / Say the word and I’ll go anywhere blindly / Any road you take you know that you’ll find me” and “You’re making the typical me / Break my typical rules,” the JoBros are putting their love for their partners on display. Chopra and Nick Jonas got married last year; Game of Thrones star Turner and Joe are engaged; and Danielle and Kevin have been married since 2009 and have two children together.

The women take on co-starring roles in the video, as well, set at a lavish party at a European manor. There is serious fashion, lots of dancing, drinking champagne in bathtubs, and what appears to be a low-key bondage moment where Joe is tied up as Turner looks on.

“This is the first time we’ve worked together but not for a moment did it feel like work,” Chopra wrote on Instagram. ‘Such a fun family affair…#JonasBrothers and the #JSisters cheering each other on! Proud of you husband.” Turner and Danielle also gave shout-outs to their “J Sisters,” the nickname the women have given themselves on social media.

Fans are naturally freaking out on social media, too.

And they were very much here for the fact that the JoBros featured the loves of their lives in the video. “Wow who knew Danielle, Priyanka and Sophie are my new favorite Jonas brothers???” wrote one user. “The jonas brothers using their wives in the Sucker music video is the content i’m here for,” said another.
