Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Are Reportedly Engaged


Summer 2018 is apparently the summer of whirlwind engagements: Just a month after reportedly getting back together, Justin Bieber has reportedly proposed to Hailey Baldwin.

TMZ broke the news on Sunday afternoon, reporting that two eyewitnesses saw the whole thing go down at a resort in the Bahamas. “They say everyone was at a restaurant on the property doing salsa dancing when Justin’s security told everyone to put their phones away, because something special was about to happen,” writes TMZ. Apparently that’s when Justin popped the question.

Reinforcements back up the news, too: “A source with knowledge of the situation” also told TMZ that the two got engaged last night.

Of course, these two young things haven’t even confirmed they’re in a relationship yet, much less engaged—we’ve just seen them eating lunch in Miami and making out over all over Brooklyn. Ah, young love!

But Bieber’s dad posted a ‘gram on Sunday with a telling caption: “@justinbieber Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!”

Confirmation from the engaged twosome will make this thing official, but until then, you know we’ll be looking for those ring pics.

Surprise: Bachelor in Paradise's Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon Are Engaged


Bachelor Nation flipped out last month when Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon finally revealed they were in a relationship. This was a long time coming: Separately and together, Iaconetti and Haibon have appeared on every iteration of the Bachelor franchise and spent most of their time on Bachelor in Paradise together either flirting or crying. Now they’re finally a couple. They even documented the start of their relationship with a 44-minute video, which is the most Ashley and Jared thing they could’ve done.

And the good news just keeps on coming for them. People magazine is reporting that Iaconetti and Haibon are engaged. Are you surprised? Well, you shouldn’t be. We all knew this was coming—and if Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson can get engaged after a month of dating, Iaconetti and Haibon can do whatever they want. We all can!

According to People, Haibon proposed to Iaconetti Sunday on camera while filming the fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise, which, of course. It’s a full-circle moment considering their relationship started on Bachelor in Paradise. Back then, during the show’s second season, Iaconetti was upset Haibon didn’t reciprocate her feelings for him, leading to a roller coaster of teary-eyed drama. It looks like there are only happy tears in their future now.

Or no tears at all. There’s no crying happening in the photo People shared of Haibon proposing to Iaconetti. She’s just smiling wide with her head tilted back, and Haibon’s acting as though there aren’t 20 cameras and an entire crew watching them. Ahhh, there’s no love like reality TV love.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson Are Reportedly Engaged


Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are reportedly engaged, according to both People magazine and Us Weekly. The couple began dating in May.

This news hasn’t been confirmed by either Grande or Davidson—we reached out for comment—but sources tell People that it’s a recent development. “They’re just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time,” a source reportedly close to the couple told the magazine. “They both started talking about it this past weekend. It’s nothing they’ve been hiding.”

Though the proposal came early in their relationship, you can expect a long engagement. “They are a perfect fit. They are not rushing to get married,”an “insider” told Us Weekly. “Their friends are really excited and supportive.” Another source told Us Weekly that Grande and Davidson were apparently “telling people that they’re engaged” at Robert Pattinson’s birthday party on June 9.

Again, it’s important to reiterate that all of this is coming from sources—not the couple or their representatives—but if social media’s any indication, Davidson and Grande are smitten with each other. The two frequently post photos of each other, both to Instagram and Instagram Stories. Grande just uploaded this photo, below, of the two goofing off:

On May 30, roughly two weeks after they started dating, Davidson uploaded this pic of him and Grande and captioned it, “The chamber of secrets has been opened…”

Grande’s fourth studio album, Sweetener, is due out some time this summer. Her single “No Tears Left to Cry” dropped on April 20. Davidson, meanwhile, is a regular on Saturday Night Live.

Shortly after this news broke, Grande tweeted a series of see-no-evil emojis and the phrase, “i love u sm ok bye.”

Glamour has reached out to Davidson and Grande’s reps for comment. We will update this post when and if they respond.

Vanderpump Rules' Jax and Brittany Are Engaged, So Good Luck to Them


Love is in the air in West Hollywood, where Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright—of Vanderpump Rules fame—are engaged to be married.

This basically brings the “Forgive Jax” tour full circle after the most recent season found him cheating on Cartwright with fellow Sur co-worker Faith (allegedly right next to an elderly woman in her care, which we still have a lot of questions about). This led to a couple of breakups and makeups, Taylor developing a possibly too-close relationship with his Reiki instructor, and Taylor’s rage-filled rant on the reunion show. You know, all the things that make you think, “True love!”

Both Taylor and Cartwright announced their engagement on Instagram and, of course, made sure to note that we will be able to see the proposal on the next season, which is filming now.

Taylor writes, “She said yes!!! I can’t wait for y’all to see how this happened next season!!! I am marrying the woman of my dreams and I could not be happier!! ? make sure y’all tune in season 7 to see how this unfolded.”

Cartwright echoed her new fiancé’s sentiments: “Omg omg!!!!!!!! We are ENGAGED! What a way to start our summer and season 7!! I am so happy, so in love, and so beyond excited for this next chapter of our lives! I can’t wait for all of you to see how he proposed! I am the happiest girl ever right now. ?? love can win ??”

The ring was prominently displayed, complete with a shout-out to the designer, Kyle Chan. The bride-to-be is in white. The cameras were there…something tells me this wasn’t the most spontaneous moment. Even the restaurant got in on the promotion action:

Listen, as all of her co-stars constantly remark, Cartwright seems so very sweet—which is why I truly hope Taylor has changed. However, his past behavior does not bode well for a happily ever after. This is a guy who has failed to remain monogamous in every single relationship he’s had during the six glorious seasons this show has been on the air. He rarely even takes his infidelity outside the group!

But on the last reunion, Taylor said his father’s passing—and Cartwright’s support while he was grieving—made him want to change his behavior and be a better partner to Cartwright. So, maybe they’ll prove me wrong. In fact, I hope they do!

At the very least, it looks like we’ll get another TV wedding soon—though Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, this is not. In the meantime, I have a few questions:

—Will she be allowed to call him “Jason” during the actual ceremony?

—Will said ceremony be on her family’s farm and will it be a “dry” reception?

—Is Reiki master Kelsey invited?

—Will Lisa Vanderpump officiate?

—What does Rihanna think about this development? (A question that should be asked about any and all things in the world.)

Season seven can’t start soon enough.

Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank Are Engaged


Meghan Markle and Prince Harry aren’t the only royals tying the knot this year: Buckingham Palace announced this morning that Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank are also engaged.

“The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank,” the official statement reads. “Her Royal Highness and Mr. Brooksbank became engaged in Nicaragua earlier this month. The wedding will take place in the Autumn of 2018 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, with further details to be announced in due course.”

The location of their wedding, St. George’s Chapel, should sound familiar to you: It’s where Markle and Prince Harry are exchanging their vows on May 19, 2018.

According to The Sun, Brooksbank and Princess Eugenie started dating six years ago after they met at a ski resort in Switzerland. He’s the manager of a trendy nightclub in Mayfair called Mahiki. He reportedly received the Queen’s blessing to marry Princess Eugenie in September 2016 in Balmoral Castle while visiting for Prince Harry’s 32nd birthday.

Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, tweeted several sweet messages to the newly-engaged couple. “A total embrace of goodness and joy. We love Jack, and I am so excited to have a son, a brother, and a best friend. Eugenie is one of the finest people I know, and so together it will be pure harmony.”

She later added, “They float with laughter and love…I always say that the river flows well to it’s destiny because of the guidance of a solid rock.”

Congratulations to the couple. This means there will be two royal weddings in one year! Is the Internet ready?

Ed Sheeran Is Engaged to Girlfriend Cherry Seaborn


Ed Sheeran announced on Instagram Saturday that he and girlfriend Cherry Seaborne are engaged. The singer, 26, posted a sweet photo to reveal the news, writing “Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx.”

According to the BBC, while Sheeran and Seaborn only officially started dating in 2015, the couple has known each other for years, meeting when they were students.

In an interview last January with British radio host Zane Lowe on Apple-produced music industry news show Beats 1, Sheeran disclosed how happy he was in his relationship with Seaborn, and explained how perfectly everything had aligned in his life at that point, thanks in big part, the singer explains, to his time off from performing. “This has been the first time I’ve ever actually had the time to fall in love properly,” Sheeran said. “I’ve always got into relationships very passionately, but then I…go on tour for 18 months and everything will [be ruined].”

Fortunately, time off from his career ended with both an incredible year on the Billboard charts, and a “perfect” relationship.
