Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Secretly Visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the Same Week They Reportedly Got Engaged


We’re living in the summer of the fast engagement. First Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande, then Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber, and now, reportedly, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. And for whatever reason, the very same week that Chopra and Jonas got engaged, the two lovebirds apparently paid their royal friends Meghan Markle and Prince Harry a completely-on-the-DL visit.

US Weekly reports that the Quantico star, 36, officially introduced the “Chains” singer, 25, to Markle, and Harry during a secret visit to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s house in Oxfordshire, England. We have to wonder if Nick and Harry were discussing proposal tips—or if the couples were laugh-crying over wine about the stresses of wedding planning.

While it’s actually unclear what the four of them got up to during their visit, one thing we do know for sure is that Meghan and Priyanka’s friendship is the real deal. They’ve been pals for years, and Priyanka even attended the royal wedding in May.

After the wedding she posted a special Instagram tribute to her friend, saying, “Every once in a while there is a moment when time stands still…that happened today. You my friend were the epitome of grace, love, and beauty. Every choice made at this wedding by you both will go down in history, not just because it was your wedding, but because this incredible wedding stood for change and hope…both things that the world needs desperately. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Are Reportedly Engaged


Surprise: Your favorite are-they-or-aren’t-they couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas might be getting married. Though they haven’t confirmed their relationship after two months of reported dating, People says they got engaged last week. (Reps for both parties haven’t confirmed or denied the news yet, however, so keep that in mind.)

According to the publication, it happened in London—on her 36th birthday. Apparently, Jonas even closed down a Tiffany & Co. store in New York to pick out her ring.

“They are so happy,” a source tells People. While another added, “His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him. He’s definitely very serious about her.”

Again, neither Chopra nor Jonas have confirmed the engagement themselves—but we do know how they celebrated Chopra’s birthday: The two were seen dining at London’s Chiltern Firehouse, where they shared an Instagram-worthy dessert and left holding hands.

It feels like just yesterday Jonas and Chopra were flirting on Instagram and cuddling on yachts. What a summer for whirlwind celebrity relationships, no?

They aren’t the only celebrity pair to surprise fans with a proposal: Earlier this summer, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson got engaged, quickly followed by Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin. Hey, they say when you know you know. These couples are just proof.

Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner Are Engaged!


Big update, fam: Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner are engaged after six years of dating.

“I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over,” Kloss posted to Instagram Tuesday (July 24), confirming the engagement, which was originally reported on by People.

According to a source who spoke to People, “[Joshua] proposed a few weeks ago during a romantic weekend together in upstate New York. They’re both overjoyed and happily celebrating. Their hearts are full and they’re excited to build their future together.”

Kloss and Kushner began dating in 2012, and have managed to keep their relationship private despite their high profiles. According to People, the couple’s only attended a few red carpets together. They have, however, posted several selfies of each other on Instagram.

In one such cute post, Kloss called Kushner her “ride or die.”

Kloss told W magazine in July 2018 that Kushner is a “big part” of her life. “I’m incredibly busy, but I love what I do, and my boyfriend’s incredibly busy, but he loves what he does, too. I think it’s important to make time to be with your loved ones—to work hard, play hard. That’s the way I live my life,” Kloss told the magazine. When asked if there’s been a change in how much she posts about Kushner on Instagram, she said, “I don’t think there’s been a change—it’s more just sharing more parts of my life, and he’s a big part of it.”

Congrats, you two.

Taylor Swift Had the Best Reaction When Two Super-Fans Got Engaged Right in Front of Her


Senate interns went into a tizzy over rumors of a Taylor Swift appearance this week, but even though it didn’t actually wind up happening, the singer actually has been spending plenty of quality time with her loyal band of Swifties. Those moments are always personal, but yesterday was especially intimate: T. Swift stopped in Philadelphia as part of her Reputation world tour, and during a meet-and-greet, a fan proposed to his girlfriend right in front of her.

It seems the groom-to-be dropped down on one knee right as he and his girlfriend were meeting Swift, sandwiching the star smack dab in the middle of the surprise. The singer then posted an image of the proposal on Instagram—and her face pretty much sums up the entire thing.

“They walk into the meet and greet and he says ‘We met 5 years ago at the Red Tour’ and then…..????????????? #thirdwheel,” she captioned the photo.

The couple followed up their special moment by tweeting that Swift had been an integral part of their relationship: “Our love story started at a RED TOUR show in Philadelphia back in 2013. Taylor Swift is a huge part of our relationship. Nothing would make this proposal more special than having her there!” the future groom wrote from an anonymous Twitter account. He had been secretly asking fans for advice on how to get Taylor’s attention and make her part of the engagement.

Looks like he got what he wanted: Taylor was right there, and he also completely surprised his now-fiancee, who looked absolutely thrilled. Afterward, the happy groom-to-be tweeted that Taylor “called me a baller and said that she is never surprised. She also said we were incredible and to go get married!!!! IS THIS REAL LIFE?!?!”

Maybe Taylor will play at the wedding? Just throwing it out there…

Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber Just Confirmed They're Engaged


Well, the rumors are true: Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber really are engaged. Reports surfaced over the weekend that Bieber proposed to Baldwin while in the Bahamas; soon after, his father maybe-kinda confirmed the news with an Instagram post telling his son that he’s “proud” and “excited for the next chapter.” But no need to second guess now because Bieber and Baldwin have just confirmed themselves.

Baldwin kept it simple with a tweet, writing, “Not sure what I did in life to deserve such happiness but I am so utterly grateful to God for giving me such an incredible person to share my life with! No words could ever express my gratitude.”

Bieber, meanwhile, posted a cute photo of the two snuggling on Instagram with a long, gushing caption about their relationship.

“Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast,” the singer wrote on Instagram today (July 9). “Listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY. I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make.”

“My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first,” he continued. “You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else. You make me so much better and we compliment each other so well!! Can’t wait for the best season of life yet!. It’s funny because now with you everything seems to make sense! The thing I am most excited for is that my little brother and sister get to see another healthy stable marriage and look for the same!!!”

He also commented on the timing of the proposal, writing, “Gods timing really is literally perfect, we got engaged on the seventh day of the seventh month, the number seven is the number of spiritual perfection, it’s true GOOGLE IT! Isn’t that nuts? By the way I didn’t plan that, anyways My goodness does feel good to have our future secured! WERE GONNA VE BETTER AT 70 BABY HERE WE GO! ‘He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains FAVOR from the Lord!’ This is the year of favor!!!!”

Bieber may not have planned for this proposal to be on a day of “spiritual perfection,” but he did predict their marriage two years ago: Back in 2016, the singer told GQ that he wanted their relationship to be pure. “I don’t want to put anyone in a position where they feel like I’m only theirs, only to be hurt in the end,” he told the magazine. “Right now in my life, I don’t want to be held down by anything. … I don’t want to feel like the girl I love is an added responsibility. I know that in the past I’ve hurt people and said things that I didn’t mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I’m just more so looking at the future, making sure I’m not damaging them. What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it’s always gonna be damaged. It’s really hard to fix wounds like that.
