Are Taylor Swift and Harry Styles Performing at the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show?

Taylor Swift and Harry Styles infamously dated from December 2012 to January 2013. It was a short relationship, yes, but a memorable one. The photos of Swift and Styles walking together in a New York City park (see above) sent the pop-music world into a tizzy, and their breakup was even more of a big deal. Fans think Swift wrote two songs about Styles—”I Knew You Were Trouble,” from Red, and “Out of the Woods,” from 1989—though neither has been confirmed.

The two haven’t exactly had the most congenial relationship since their split, either. Remember the time they awkwardly passed each other while out with friends in January 2015? Or when Swift maybe dissed Styles at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards? To be fair, Styles did hint he has no hard feelings toward Swift in an interview with Rolling Stone, but the two haven’t exactly been photographed sharing endless appetizers at T.G.I. Fridays.

But that might change pretty soon. There’s a fan theory floating around the Internet right now that both Styles and Swift will perform at the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai next month. The evidence? This press release from the Shanghai Culture, Radio, Film and Television Administration Bureau, which states Styles and Swift each were issued administrative licenses to perform four songs in the city on November 20—right around the time the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is happening. November 28 is the exact air date, but the show is always filmed in advance.

Check the release out for yourself, below:

If this is true, it’d be Swift’s third time performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She hit the stage both in 2013 and 2014; coincidentally, it was at her first show where she met her now-BFF Karlie Kloss. This would be Styles’ first time performing at the event.

It’s unclear if Swift and Styles would sing together, though that seems unlikely. Swift will be in full Reputation promo mode at that time, so she’d probably take the opportunity to perform new material. But you never know! Either way, we’re on board with this quasi-reunion.

Is "…Ready for It?" About Ex Harry Styles or BF Joe Alwyn? Let the Fan Theories Begin

    PHOTO: Andrew H. Walker/Getty Images

After Taylor Swift’s second new single, “…Ready for It?”, dropped over the weekend with a one-minute preview on Saturday night, followed by the full-length track on Sunday, the Internet promptly went up in flames. Ready for it? Hardly, but that hasn’t stopped Swifties from coming up with theories about what the song’s lyrics might mean. Or, more correctly, who they might be about: after all, Swift is notorious for writing songs about specific men she’s dated before.

Our initial theory was that the song was about her current beau, Joe Alwyn. As our entertainment editor, Anna Moeslein, wrote Saturday night: “My money’s on her new boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, because it’s referencing ‘good things’ beginning (not ending)—and, if the rumors are true, this new ‘thing’ with Joe is very good indeed.”

Pause: If you haven’t read the lyrics, check them out here.

On one hand, the evidence seems to point to Joe, if you break apart the lyrics line by line. Taylor’s kept her relationship with Joe really under wraps, and as one fan pointed out, it could be her way to introduce us to him:

On that note, there’s also the lyric: “I know I’m gonna be with you/So I take my time.” EW pointed out that “While Swift’s previous high-profile relationships were quick to explode in the press, her time with Alwyn has gone at a relatively slower pace.”

There’s also a line references “island breezes,” followed later in the song by “And we’ll move to an island.” T.Swift spent a ton of time in the U.K.—an island! Where Alwyn is from!—and even went to far as to rent a flat in North London where the couple hung out, according to the Daily Mail.

But then—THEN—there’s #TeamHaylor, who are reading the song as being about Harry: the two couples took a breezy Caribbean vacay together, after all, which makes more sense with that “Island breezes” line. And there’s the lyric about ghosts, which some say references Harry’s “Two Ghosts” song: “But if he’s a ghost than I can be a phantom.” Furthermore: as the lyrics tell it, the mystery man is “younger than my exes but he act like such a man so.” Taylor’s 27; Harry’s 23.

However, it’s worth pointing out that Joe’s 26—and since they’re still together, he doesn’t qualify as an ex.

Who knows? But either way, the answer’s pretty good.

These Are Pinterest's Top 10 Natural Hair Styles

    The “Jumbo Twist”

This protective side twist looks incredible, and according to creator MahoganyCurls, it’s easy to do and makes the most of an old braid out. Top with a little hair product—she chose Shea Moisture’s curling gel soufflé—for a two strand twist.

    The Half-Back Side Twist

This half-back style is also up there, and truly couldn’t be easier (or cuter, but that’s obvious). Take two small sections from in front of your ears, twist, and pin. Wear this look unadorned or dress it up with gold or rose gold bobby pins (these Goody’s are everything).

    The Double Halo Braid

This braid style goes by halo, dutch, goddess and milkmaid, but is always excellent, regardless of name. The best news is the gorgeous level (high) doesn’t match up to the skill needed (low). Creator Kersti Pitre used Cantu’s Shea Butter for Natural Hair Coconut Curling Cream to moisturize, then clip-ins for added bulk. The technique stays the same: make a side part and French braid each section towards the back, overlap, pin, and you’re done.

    The Short Hair Headband

When mornings are hard and you did, in fact, hit the snooze button eight times, sometimes simple is best. As is this accessory-based style that brings a bring pop of color to short hair by way of a cloth headband. And if you want to go one step more styled, pomades like Kinky Curly’s Gloss Pomade and Mizani’s Edge Taming Gel will give you a sleek finish.

Between Lupita Nyong’o opting for a similar style, and this Pinterest ranking proof-positive, the twisted lob is your next need-to-try. Add in that twists are generally less time-consuming than braids, and you can vary the size so they don’t put as much stress on your hair? Sold.

    The Half-Up Pompadour

If your top layers aren’t living up to expectations (or you just want your hair off your face), this pompadour is a lifesaver. According to creator Ezinne Chukwu, part your hair into four sections: one in the middle front, one smaller one on both sides, and one section at the back. Gather the two side sections together with a hair tie, and keep the ends in like a bun. Then, pin the middle front back, and sneak any leftover hair into the mini bun. Undo the back section, fluff, and you’re set.
