Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Just Reunited on a Tropical Vacation in the Maldives


Even though Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom ended their romantic relationship about a year ago, it seems their connection is definitely not gone. The exes were spotted on vacation together in the Maldives this week, hanging out and enjoying the warm weather.

According to E! News, a source confirmed, “Katy was in Dubai and then stopped over in Maldives where she met up with Orlando.” She was just a few hours away, so she swung by to catch up with her old flame. What a life.

“Katy and Orlando have never lost touch and it’s nothing serious,” according to an E! News source. “They keep in contact frequently, and Orlando is understanding of her crazy schedule right now. It’s pretty casual between the two.”

Someone even caught the pair grabbing a bite together despite their baseball cap disguises.

After the two split last February, Perry cleared up rumors about any bad blood between them saying, “U can still b friends & love ur former partners! No one’s a victim or a villain.”

This isn’t the first time Perry and Bloom have been seen together since their split. In August, they went to an Ed Sheeran concert together and were spotted kissing and holding hands.

“Well, you know, I think people are in and out of your life,” she explained on “The Morning Mashup” at the time, according to People. “It’s nice to keep people you love around you. When you get older, lines get blurred. And you know what, I’m really busy. I’m about to go on tour for another year.”

If “keeping it cool” involves a quick swing by the Maldives, that actually kinda sounds ideal.

Khaleesi and Khal Drogo From 'Game of Thrones' Just Reunited IRL, and It's Amazing


For those of us who have followed Game of Thrones, the best character is obviously Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons. Before Jon Snow, however, there was Khal Drogo, her husband in the first season. Of course, their relationship was problematic AF at the start, and she did wind up tearfully killing him, but it would take a whole lot more space and time than we have here to unpack all of that. But what we’re really excited about is that the two reunited in London for what seems to be like a few gins, and they took a picture together, and my god, his arms it’s basically perfection.

Of course we’re referring here not to actual Khaleesi and Khal Drogo, but to human counterparts Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa (who, two days ago, married Cosby Show actress Lisa Bonet!).

Clarke captioned the post with a reference to Khaleesi’s Dothraki nickname for Drogo, and my cold, icy heart is melting.

This 100-percent wins the best celebrity caption contest, which we cannot confirm exists but would create just so she could win. It’s quickly added to by what is the best celebrity comment—which comes, of course, from Momoa.

Momoa also added to the joy with his own comment: “You are and will always be the Moon of my life. What an epic night I miss you always Aloha Drogo”

Jenna Dewan Tatum was also as excited as we are, chiming in with a “YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS”.

These two are rays of sunshine in a dark bar, and we are so here for the reunion. With the last season of Game of Thrones currently underway and filming across in Northern Ireland, we are very much hoping for a few more pics like this before production wraps. And after. Definitely after, too.

The 'Mean Girls' Cast Reunited to Raise Money for Las Vegas Shooting Victims

On October 3, a.k.a. Mean Girls Day, the movie’s cast have come together to raise money for the victims of Sunday’s deadly shooting in Las Vegas. In a video shared by the iconic 2004 film’s stars on social media on Tuesday, they set a goal of raising $300,000 for the National Compassion Fund.

In the video, which was posted to Twitter by Jonathan Bennett, he, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, and Daniel Franzese take turns calling their fans to action. “We know today is a special day, and that’s because of fans like you. It’s October 3rd,” they say. “This year, though, we’re doing things a little differently. We want to turn the attention to those who need it. After Sunday night’s tragic events in Las Vegas, let’s give back. In honor of Mean Girls Day, we’re asking each of you, the groolest fans out there, to help. We’ve started a GoFundMe page, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the National Compassion Fund. If every fan gave just $3 in honor of October 3rd, just $3, we would hit our goal of $300,000 in no time.”

They add, “Guys, look. We know ‘fetch’ is never gonna happen, but we can make this happen. On October 3rd, I’ll ask you what day it is, but we’ll also ask you to help. So, you go, Glen Coco, to GoFundMe.com/October3. Thank you for being a fan and thank you for your help.” In the three hours since Jonathan posted the video online, the campaign has already raised more than $9,000.

According to the GoFundMe page, the National Compassion Fund is sponsored by the National Center for Victims of Crime, and previously helped raise money for victims of the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, the Aurora movie theater shooting in 2012, and the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The NCF website promises that “100% of the funds received through the National Compassion Fund Las Vegas will be distributed directly to victims,” and that donations will provide “critical support to the victims and their families” in both the short- and long-term. Fetch, indeed.
