Every Time the Friends Cast Reunited and Melted Our Hearts

The world, it seems, will never tire of watching Friends. And the show’s cast apparently never tires of hanging out together, even after all these years. While the rest of us get our Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, and Joey fixes on Netflix (at least until the show moves to HBO Max in 2020), the stars just make lunch dates or show up to support each other on red carpets.

On Thursday (November 7), Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow attended the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s 4th Annual Patron of the Artists Awards where Jennifer Aniston was honored with the Artists Inspiration Award. They even got to present her with the award calling Aniston “beloved, generous and deserving,” per People. “We’re not the only ones who know Jen is a remarkable person. We all love her because she’s truly, she radiates warmth and joy and humor and love,” Cox said of her friend.

They even posed with Paul Rudd, who played Phoebe’s husband, Mike Hannigan, on the red carpet.

Monica and Chandler also reunited this week, which we all learned about thanks to a sweet photo on Cox’s Instagram of her and Matthew Perry. “Guess who I had lunch with today….I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier? #realfriends,” she wrote in the caption. “Lucky lucky. #beautifulpeople,” Kudrow commented. Instagram newbie Aniston added, “MATTY!! ❤️❤️❤️ I LOVE YOU, GUYS.”

Not to mention, when Aniston launched her Instagram (and almost shut down the social media app) she did it with a full-on cast reunion dinner photo that featured Joey (Matt LeBlanc) and Ross (David Schwimmer).

Meanwhile Cox’s feed is filled with adorable Friends moments.

All of this hanging out will certainly do nothing to quash all those reboot rumors. While Aniston has repeatedly tried to shoot those down, she did recently say that the cast is working on something. “We would love for there to be something,” she said. “But we don’t know what that something is. So we’re just trying. We’re working on something.”

We could not BE any more excited for whatever that something may be.

The Entire Friends Cast Just Reunited, According to Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston says the entire cast of Friends had dinner together at Courteney Cox’s house on Saturday, October 5. Yes, you read that correctly: All six cast members of FriendsAniston, Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry—together again.

Aniston revealed this during an interview with Howard Stern on Monday, October 7. “We just had dinner this week, on Saturday night,” she said. “The whole gang. Everyone was there.”

“Schwimmer was in town,” she continued. “We all happened to have a window of time, so we all got together.”

The actress, who played Rachel Green for 10 years on Friends, says “not one” person in the cast has ever annoyed her. “[It was] lightning in a bottle,” she said.

As for the dinner itself, Aniston says the gang “laughed so hard.” “We just laughed a lot,” she continued. “We all miss [Friends] every day. I would be nothing without it.”

This doesn’t necessarily mean a reboot of the series is in the cards, though. While Aniston has said on multiple occasions the cast would be down to get together again, they don’t want to ruin the legacy of the show.

“I really think there’s an idea that if there’s a reboot of the show, it won’t be even close to as good as what it was, so why do it?” Aniston told Stern. See this interview for yourself in the video, below:

A few Friends cast members have opened up in the past about why a reboot wouldn’t work. “I doubt it—I really doubt it,” Schwimmer said in a 2018 interview. “Look, the thing is, I just don’t know if I want to see all of us with crutches [and] walkers.” Kudrow expressed a similar sentiment: “They’re rebooting everything. I don’t know how that works with Friends, though. That was about people in their 20s, 30s,” she told Conan O’Brien. “The show isn’t about people in their 40s, 50s. And if we have the same problems, that’s just sad.”

Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle Just Reunited for a Very Good Cause

It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle all together in public. Of course, we’re not privy to their private hangs and group texts and we did get to see both duchesses bring the kids out to watch the princes play polo this summer.

Earlier this year, the Cambridges and the Sussexes famously separated their households, their charitable foundations, and their social media channels. While many took those moves as proof of a rift between the two brothers and their wives, it was more likely a natural progression of the couples setting their own courses for futures that will indeed look a bit different—with William set to eventually become king.

But now they’ve all reunited for a very good cause—and we love to see it.

William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan all recorded voiceovers for a new PSA called “Every Mind Matters” that focuses on the importance of mental health, a cause championed by all the royals. Before the Duchess of Sussex entered the pictures, the Cambridges and Harry started the Heads Together initiative, via the royal foundation, to raise awareness for the issue and this new video falls under that umbrella. “When they heard about it, all four of them were really keen to take part,” a source told People. “It is a really positive project, and all four of them have been involved and they hope it will have a huge impact.” In fact, during one of the first times they all appeared together back in 2018 at the “Making a Difference Together” forum, they discussed working to remove the stigmas around mental health.

The video was written and produced by Four Weddings and a Funeral creator Richard Curtis and also features celebrities like Gillian Anderson and Glenn Close. But it’s the royals who are sure to draw the most attention with their famous voices each reading parts of the important message.

Watch it for yourself below—and let’s all hope for even more group projects together in the future.

The Game of Thrones Cast All Reunited at the Emmys, and People Are Emotional

The Game of Thrones cast had an epic reunion at the Emmys on Sunday night (September 22). Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Gwendoline Christie, Alfie Allen, and Carice van Houten all hit the stage together to pay tribute to the show, which ended this summer after eight glorious seasons.

The audience gave them a standing ovation when they first walked out, and the emotion was palpable. Each cast member had a chance to talk briefly, and their words were met with rapturous applause. When it came time for Christie to speak, fans screamed so loudly they muffled her speech. What can I say? This fandom runs deep.

Allen captured much of the reunion on his Instagram Story. Check out this cute selfie the group took before hitting the stage:

And this warm hug that Turner and Harington shared? I’m not crying, you’re crying.

Allen took two separate photos with Williams and Christie, whose outfit set the Internet ablaze.

A Few Dozen Migrant Children Were Reunited With Their Families—but That's Not Enough

Although a federal judge ruled that the Trump administration had until Tuesday to reunite about 100 young migrant children with their parents, the government acknowledged Monday evening that it would fall short of the court-ordered deadline.

Roughly 3,000 kids were removed from their families at the border under the Trump administration’s “zero-tolerance” immigration policy this spring, and about 102 of those children were under the age of five. Last month U.S. District Judge Dana Sabraw ordered the Trump administration to return all kids under five to their parents or guardians by July 10. However, the Justice Department revealed at a court hearing in San Diego that only 54 families would be reunited by today and that they would be released in the U.S. together.

Five more cases are still undergoing final background checks.

This leaves a few dozen kids in limbo. According to Time, Justice Department lawyer Sarah Fabian said that the government was unable to reunite the remaining children with their families for several reasons, including the fact that some of their parents had already been deported, some needed to be located and others are behind bars on criminal charges.

Judge Sabraw has signaled that he will work with the government and allow more time to place the final children back with their parents. He asked the administration to propose a timeline and said that he recognized some cases would “necessitate additional time.”

However, this situation still raises several concerns about the children beyond the 102 in question. About 2,000 are still being held away from their parents, and Judge Sabraw had given the government until July 26 to reunite all of them. At the rate the government is going, it’s likely they will need an extension again. If Judge Sabraw decides not to offer more time, the government could be found in contempt of court.

Additionally, the Trump administration missing their first deadline calls their reunification process into question and reveals it may not be enough to unite families effectively.

Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell Reunited on the Louis Vuitton Runway

Back in September, the fashion world collectively lost their minds when a crew of OG supermodels reunited at Versace’s Spring 2018 show for a dazzling finale. So imagine the scene at Paris Fashion Week Men’s, when two of the most iconic names in fashion, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, walked down the same catwalk for the first time in years. Yup, it was major.

This wasn’t any ordinary fashion show: Moss and Campbell came together again to send off Kim Jones, who, after seven years at the helm of menswear at Louis Vuitton, presented his final collection in Paris. In matching monogrammed trench coats, they made a special, surprise finale appearance, reminiscent of that Versace moment from the fall. And while their ’90s runway appearances are the stuff (or struts?) of legends, the model duo proved they still have it—and can show the new generation a thing or two about how to dominate the catwalk.

While Campbell hasn’t been absent from Fashion Week lineups for long (she most recently walked a few shows during the Spring 2018 womenswear season), more time has passed since Moss made her way down the runway—in fact, this is her first official appearance since Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2013 presentation, five years ago, per Vogue. It’s been even longer since both Campbell and Moss appeared as part of the same show, though, despite basically running the circuit in the ’90s and early aughts, which makes this reunion all the more incredible.

The casting came from Jones himself, it seems. On Instagram, he shared backstage Polaroids of Campbell and Moss, explaining how their appearance at his final Louis Vuitton show “was really a thank you and reference to @themarcjacobs early 2000s Vuitton and the fact that he was the one that gave me the opportunity to be @louisvuitton”. (Jones ascended to the top menswear position at the company when Jacobs was its creative director.)

More than simply marking the end of Jones’ time at Louis Vuitton with a grand finale—really, there’s no better way to go out than with two legends wearing in your designs—casting Moss and Campbell makes a strong point about age inclusion on the runway: At 44 and 47 years old, respectively, they’re older than the majority of models we see cast in fashion shows and ad campaigns. Their continued presence in the industry confirms what we already knew: Models can kill it on the runway at any age.
