Ashton Kutcher’s Reaction to Mila Kunis Saying She Wants to Be on ‘The Real Housewives’ Is Priceless

Mila Kunis is a well-known Real Housewives of Beverly Hills superfan. In 2015 she even said the show is “one of the greatest things on television.” Her husband, Ashton Kutcher, is a fan of the series too. “He gets sucked into it because it’s, like, catfights happen,” Kunis told Conan O’Brien a few years back, according to bravotv.com. “Weaves are being chucked to places. The women just look like they got beat by a drag queen. They have so much makeup on. It is amazing.”

But that’s where Kutcher’s love for the show ends. He’s just a fan, whereas Kunis has entertained the idea of joining the cast in a few decades. In an interview on comedian Andrea Savage’s podcast this week, the Black Swan actress revealed she floated the idea of joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to Kutcher (presumably as a joke, but still). And his reaction was less than enthusiastic.

“I did ask my husband once, I was like, ‘Listen, later, in like 20 years, 30 years, what do you think of me going on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?’ I’m like, ‘Just for like, a year.’ He was like…’I would kill you,'” she said.

So, sadly, it looks like joining the Bravo-verse isn’t in the cards for Kunis. But I can just imagine how she and Kutcher, who have been married since 2015, would be on the show. Kunis, to me, gives off Bethenny Frankel from Real Housewives of New York City vibes: She’d be the voice of reason in a sea of chaos. On the trips abroad she wouldn’t care what room she got. And in confrontations she’d stay calm, cool, and collected. Also, she and Erika Jayne would be best friends. Why do I think that, you ask? Watch the video above.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's Honeymoon Sounds Like a Nightmare

Maybe stars really are “just like us.” At least, that’s true for Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher when it comes to their travel woes. Case in point: Their plans for a grand, romantic honeymoon got completely derailed thanks to a pair of in-laws, a 10-month-old baby, and a never-ending stream of RV troubles.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show this week, Kunis told host Jimmy Fallon a condensed version of the hilariously disastrous RV trip she and Kutcher took across California shortly after they tied the knot in July 2015. “If you’ve ever seen the National Lampoon movies, our honeymoon was like a real-life National Lampoon‘s honeymoon. I’m not exaggerating. I’m not saying it for a laugh. We also went honeymooning with my in-laws,” she said, admitting that it all began with her making a “boo-boo” by giving Kutcher a gift card to an RV rental service—”not thinking that my husband’s gonna go, ‘Oh! That’s our honeymoon!'”

Alas, he did, so they set off in a “tin can on wheels” with their then-10-month-old daughter Wyatt and Kutcher’s parents following them in “the Taj Mahal of RVs.” To start, just eight hours into the trip, the air conditioner in Kunis and Kutcher’s RV broke—in the middle of the 110-degree California desert—and then, on the way to get it fixed, the whole family had to get out and walk three miles after Apple Maps navigated them onto an unsafe, unpaved road.

The trouble didn’t end there, though: “My wonderful, beautiful mother-in-law picked the RV parks that we were staying in, but she didn’t use the Internet. She used books,” Kunis said. “She was like, ‘We’ll end in Napa, it’ll be beautiful!’ I was like, ‘You know what? What could go wrong?’ Let me tell you: an RV park not in Napa, but an hour outside of Napa, with two prisons.” She added, “My husband looked at me and goes, ‘I quit,’ and I was like, ‘Me too.'”

Somehow, though, that road trip from hell didn’t put Kunis completely off the idea of RV-ing. When Fallon asked whether she’d ever let Kutcher rent an RV again, she immediately, genuinely responded, “Yeah, absolutely! It was fantastic.” Sounds like the Bad Moms star has a different definition of “fantastic” than the rest of us.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher Just Walked Their First Red Carpet as a Couple

To the delight of their fans everywhere, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher did something this weekend they’ve never done before (at least, not publicly): Showed up at a party together. The pair, who have been together since 2012 and married in 2015, finally stepped foot on the red carpet together for the first time as a couple on Sunday evening. Of course, they walked red carpets together during their years on That ’70s Show—according to USA Today, the pair was last photographed on a red carpet together in 2000—but they were just friends at the time.

As for last night’s event, the actors were on hand to attend the 2018 Breakthrough Prize ceremony at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California, which is often considered the “Oscars of science.” There, Kunis presented an award during the ceremony to Oxford University geneticist Kim Nasmyth.

At the event, the duo looked truly radiant—they even shared a laugh in front of photographers. Though we aren’t sure what they were giggling about it’s no surprise to see them having fun. In an October interview with E! News, Kunis explained that she still feels like she’s in the “honeymoon phase” despite being with Kutcher for years.

“I can give you an honest answer, and this is going to be the opposite of what you will want to hear, but my husband does not annoy me,” Kunis said. “He doesn’t. He really doesn’t. I don’t know if this happens later. We’ve only been married for a handful of years; you know it’s very much in the honeymoon phase. We still really love and like each other daily.”

For them, it seems the secret is keeping their personal family life with their children Dimitri and Wyatt private.”My wife and I have chosen a career where we’re in the public light,” Kutcher told Ariana Huffington in an episode of the Thrive Global Podcast with iHeart Radio. “But my kids have not, so I think they should have the right to choose that… I don’t think they should have images of them that are out there as children that somebody could potentially blackmail or do whatever. It’s their private life. It’s not mine to give away.”

Mila Kunis Makes Monthly Donations to Planned Parenthood in Mike Pence's Name

Mila Kunis, Bad Moms star and casual hero, is on a one-woman mission to plant a little ire in the mailbox of Vice President Mike Pence.

ICYM2016 (lucky you): Pence, who has a hard pro-life stance, has voted to limit women’s access to birth control, among other things pertaining to reproductive rights. (Don’t even get him started on abortion: As far back as the early 1990s, he was on the board of a far-right Indiana organization that wanted abortion to be criminalized, and his track record as a governor is grim reading for pro-choice women.) He also cast the tie-breaking vote for legislation that would make it easier to strip Planned Parenthood of funding—and let’s just say he didn’t choose the side that would give the health care organization more money. Fun times. But Kunis is doing her part to stand up to Pence and his voting record, while supporting women’s health care: She told Conan O’Brien that she makes a monthly donation to Planned Parenthood in Mike Pence’s name.

“As a reminder that there are women out there in the world who may or may not agree with his platform, I put him on a list of recurring donations that are made in his name to Planned Parenthood,” she told O’Brien on his eponymous show earlier this week. “Every month, his office—he gets a little letter that says ‘an anonymous donation has been made in your name.”

Kunis explained that this is “not so much a prank as much as I disagreed with some of the stuff that Pence was doing.” We appreciate this level of both political and productive trolling. “It’s a peaceful protest,” she said.

As a reminder, you can make donations to Planned Parenthood on behalf of someone else; the organization will then send a note thanking said person for the contribution.

In a totally unrelated note, Pence’s official mailing address is: The White House, Office of the Vice President, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20500.

Mila Kunis Says She and Ashton Kutcher Are Done Having Kids

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher clearly have a good thing going. The couple, who met as teens on the set of That ’70s Show, had their first child, a daughter named Wyatt Isabelle, in 2014, married in 2015, and welcomed a son, Dimitri Portwood, in 2016. Their life seems so picture-perfect that some might assume Kunis and Kutcher want to add more children to their family. But, as Kunis herself explained, she’s totally fine to keep things just as they are.

“I will only have two,” Kunis revealed in a recent interview with People, alongside her Bad Moms Christmas costars Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn. “But I have heard [moving from] two to three is the hard [jump].” As she explained, “[It’s hard] when they outnumber you. Right now, we’re fine. One hand, one hand. One eye, one eye. Two people, two kids.”

However, hope isn’t entirely lost for a third Kunis-Kutcher baby. As Kunis theorized, a third baby may be easier to tackle when your other two kids are old enough to fend for themselves. “People that have two kids, [they] grow up and they’re 10 and 8 and play with each other and take care of themselves,” she said, before adding, “Then they [grow up] and go off and have a baby.”

Kunis’ candor isn’t surprising—she’s without question one of the most honest women in Hollywood, especially when it comes to the tough stuff all moms face.

“Children are fucking crazy,” Kunis told Glamour in 2016 before the birth of her son. “They’re also suicidal. Like, at the park, certain jungle gyms have an opening for older kids to jump out of. She’s 19 months; she can’t jump. She just walks off it as if she’s on a pirate ship.”

Kunis is also humble about her role as a mother, adding that kids will be amazing with or without a parent’s help. “Another important thing to learn is that kids have a personality that has nothing to do with you. I have a really sweet daughter,” she said. “She wants to hug all the other kids. I didn’t teach her to be sweet. It has nothing to do with me. I’ve realized you can control only so much.”

Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell Just Got Matching Haircuts

Maybe it’s because we see it so rarely, but it’s pretty addictive to watch celebrities make hair decisions with their friends. It’s just so relatable—like a throwback to when your friend group would go in on a pack of Sun-In and streak everyone’s hair just slightly orange (that bad decision was universal, right? Right??). Those DIY dye jobs may have ended up only so-so, but regardless, they’re good memories. So when friends like Busy Philipps and Michelle Williams made the tipsy decision to dye Williams’ hair pink, we couldn’t look away. And today, we got some equally riveting intel on a new, friendship-inspired pair of celebrity haircuts. Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell just got matching bobs, and they look so good.

Chalk it up to friendship, having both of their hairstylists around, or cabin fever while promoting their new movie, A Bad Moms Christmas, but Bell and Kunis are now the celebrity equivalent of the matching girls emoji. Bell posted a shot last night of her and Kunis’ new styles, along with the caption, “Friendship haircuts.????.”

Gone are the days of long, mermaid-y beach waves and floor-sweeping extensions. These days every celebrity is going shorter, and both of their new cuts prove the point. Naturally, we did some sleuthing to find out just how identical their new styles really are (or if this was just a well-timed incident of both stars already having pretty short hair, like when you show up in the same outfit as someone and have to make the obligatory “twins!” joke). On Kunis’ end, she did in fact just get a haircut from her stylist, Renato Camparo.

Per his caption, they went for an asymmetrical ’60s-inspired bob, complete with sharply angled ends (but keeping the blunt aspect of Kunis’ last cut). Bell’s change is slightly more subtle.

From the photos that Bell, her hairstylist Jenny Cho, and her makeup artist Simone Siegl posted, we can glean that she might have gotten a trim (we weren’t kidding about the sleuthing). It’s still in the familiar territory of the haircut that Bell’s had for the past few years, but revamped into a shaggy, gently tousled look. If it ain’t broke, you know the drill. And looking like that, it definitely isn’t broken.
