Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Continue Their Engagement World Tour With an Ice Cream Date in Canada

So far, the Justin BieberHailey Baldwin engagement tour has had some intense highs and lows: First there was the big reveal in the Bahamas, then there was the awkward pic of them making out in a hot tub that definitely wasn’t a selfie—and most recently there was an intense-seeming crying-while-biking excursion in New York City that we’ll come back to in a minute.

Luckily, their latest adventure is a little less weepy: Fans posted photos of the newly engaged couple hitting up the Bieb’s home country and stopping for ice cream in Stratford, Ontario. Apparently, they dropped by to get some quality time in with Bieber’s younger siblings, Jazmyn and Jaxon, who were also photographed flashing some gigantic cones.

Later, there also seems to have been some sort of outing involving a baby pig, which Baldwin dutifully documented on her Instagram stories.

The couple hasn’t been shying away from the cameras—at least since news of the engagement slipped out into the public. Shortly after rumors started swirling, Bieber confirmed he’d popped the question with a gushy Instagram post dedicated to Baldwin. “My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first,” he wrote. “You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else. You make me so much better and we compliment eachother so well!! Can’t wait for the best season of life yet!”

Bieb-and-Baldwin stans got a little bit worried when just a few weeks later, the couple was photographed on a pair of Citi Bikes, with Bieber looking like he was having a proper meltdown en route.

Could there be trouble in Jailey paradise? Apparently not, Bieber confirmed later—he’s just been reading “The Meaning of Marriage” by Timothy Keller and feeling a bit emotional about his relationship. He didn’t reveal too much but told TMZ, “You got good days and you got bad days. It’s not real if it doesn’t have any bad days.”

Luckily, their Canada date seemed to be much more cheerful, but it’s hard to break down in tears when you have ice cream in front of you.

Here's Who Hailey Baldwin's Bridesmaids Will Be For Her Wedding to Justin Bieber

Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber have already dived headfirst into planning their wedding, beginning, apparently, by hand-picking the friends and family they want standing by their sides on the big day. Though we don’t know yet whether we’ll see Hailey’s pal Kendall Jenner wearing a bridesmaid dress at the wedding or if Justin’s “brother” Tony will serve as a groomsman, we now know at least two of the women Hailey has chosen for her half of the wedding party.

In an interview with Us Weekly on Tuesday, Kim Basinger, mom of Hailey’s cousin Ireland Baldwin, spoke about Hailey and Justin’s wedding plans. “Oh, it’ll be fun. Alaia and Ireland, they’re in the wedding,” Kim said, referring to Hailey’s older sister, Alaia Baldwin Aronow. “It’s cool! I think it’s sweet. It’s a very sweet thing. Happiness. We’re living in some really dire times right now,” she added. “I’m very, very happy for Hailey. I think it’s a good thing. I think Justin’s a cool guy. I don’t really know him at all, but Ireland does, you know? I think he’s come through a rough road. He’s a really cool kid. I pray for them. I hope they’re cool. I hope they’re happy!”

Hailey, Ireland, and Alaia have stood side by side at the altar before, when Alaia got married last September. At the time, Hailey served as her sister’s maid of honor — and, perhaps, will ask Alaia to return the favor — while Ireland joined five more of Alaia’s closest friends as bridesmaids. In an uncanny twist of fate, during the wedding reception, Hailey shared a selfie with her dad Stephen Baldwin on her Instagram Story with the caption, “Dad said me next…..” Though she added an adamant “NOT,” her dad has, in fact, turned out to be correct.

Both Alaia and Ireland took to Instagram shortly after news broke of Hailey and Justin’s engagement to share their excitement. Ireland shared a throwback photo of the trio playing in a bathtub, writing, “There’s gunna be one less lonely girl ? … and only one lonely girl left ?my other chicken is soon to be a beautiful bride ♥️. congratulations to the two of you @haileybaldwin @justinbieber.”

The following day, Alaia posted a photo of her and her sister at her own wedding. “From one bride to the next…..congratulations to my baby sister on this exciting next chapter! I love you and wish you both the best. Can’t wait to celebrate with you! @haileybaldwin @justinbieber ????” she wrote.

Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber Just Confirmed They're Engaged

Well, the rumors are true: Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber really are engaged. Reports surfaced over the weekend that Bieber proposed to Baldwin while in the Bahamas; soon after, his father maybe-kinda confirmed the news with an Instagram post telling his son that he’s “proud” and “excited for the next chapter.” But no need to second guess now because Bieber and Baldwin have just confirmed themselves.

Baldwin kept it simple with a tweet, writing, “Not sure what I did in life to deserve such happiness but I am so utterly grateful to God for giving me such an incredible person to share my life with! No words could ever express my gratitude.”

Bieber, meanwhile, posted a cute photo of the two snuggling on Instagram with a long, gushing caption about their relationship.

“Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast,” the singer wrote on Instagram today (July 9). “Listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY. I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make.”

“My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first,” he continued. “You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else. You make me so much better and we compliment each other so well!! Can’t wait for the best season of life yet!. It’s funny because now with you everything seems to make sense! The thing I am most excited for is that my little brother and sister get to see another healthy stable marriage and look for the same!!!”

He also commented on the timing of the proposal, writing, “Gods timing really is literally perfect, we got engaged on the seventh day of the seventh month, the number seven is the number of spiritual perfection, it’s true GOOGLE IT! Isn’t that nuts? By the way I didn’t plan that, anyways My goodness does feel good to have our future secured! WERE GONNA VE BETTER AT 70 BABY HERE WE GO! ‘He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains FAVOR from the Lord!’ This is the year of favor!!!!”

See the post, below:

Bieber may not have planned for this proposal to be on a day of “spiritual perfection,” but he did predict their marriage two years ago: Back in 2016, the singer told GQ that he wanted their relationship to be pure. “I don’t want to put anyone in a position where they feel like I’m only theirs, only to be hurt in the end,” he told the magazine. “Right now in my life, I don’t want to be held down by anything. … I don’t want to feel like the girl I love is an added responsibility. I know that in the past I’ve hurt people and said things that I didn’t mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I’m just more so looking at the future, making sure I’m not damaging them. What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it’s always gonna be damaged. It’s really hard to fix wounds like that. It’s so hard.… I just don’t want to hurt her.”

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Are Reportedly Engaged

Summer 2018 is apparently the summer of whirlwind engagements: Just a month after reportedly getting back together, Justin Bieber has reportedly proposed to Hailey Baldwin.

TMZ broke the news on Sunday afternoon, reporting that two eyewitnesses saw the whole thing go down at a resort in the Bahamas. “They say everyone was at a restaurant on the property doing salsa dancing when Justin’s security told everyone to put their phones away, because something special was about to happen,” writes TMZ. Apparently that’s when Justin popped the question.

Reinforcements back up the news, too: “A source with knowledge of the situation” also told TMZ that the two got engaged last night.

Of course, these two young things haven’t even confirmed they’re in a relationship yet, much less engaged—we’ve just seen them eating lunch in Miami and making out over all over Brooklyn. Ah, young love!

But Bieber’s dad posted a ‘gram on Sunday with a telling caption: “@justinbieber Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!”

Confirmation from the engaged twosome will make this thing official, but until then, you know we’ll be looking for those ring pics.

Justin Hartley: 'This Is Us' Changed Me As a Father

Before I was cast on This Is Us, I was at a point in my career where I had done pilot after pilot after pilot, pouring my heart and soul into shows that just weren’t working. You find yourself not knowing where you’re going to work geographically, whether it’s New York or Toronto or Vancouver, or wherever. I have a daughter, and I wasn’t getting any younger, so I thought, I want a job at home in L.A. that I’m proud of and can see my daughter every single day and be happy.

Then a fellow actor friend of mine sent me the script for This Is Us and said, “Dan Fogleman just wrote you in a pilot.” I remember reading the part of Kevin and thinking, “Oh my God, he thinks that’s who I am?” Kevin’s in a spot where he’s being perceived in a certain way by the people around him, but it’s the opposite of the way he sees himself. I was going through a bit of that as well. My friend didn’t mean to hurt my feelings by comparing me to Kevin, but it did hit home for me. I saw Kevin as a guy surrounded by people who tell him how great he is, yet he feels completely alone. Kevin and I are different, but we’ve both gone through pain and suffering. Everyone’s had pain.

This season, the Pearson kids lose their father at that age when they need him. How do you make up for that absence? In a weird way, This Is Us makes you want to stay alive as long as you can. Life is delicate. My daughter is 13—so, I slow everything down. We took a flight recently, and I had a conversation with her that I thought was really important. I said, “I just want you to know some things…indulge me for five minutes.” We just had a really nice, slow conversation. It wasn’t any new information, just things I thought she should know.

In a weird way, This Is Us makes you want to stay alive as long as you can.

When she saw Kevin really suffering this season, she would call me after those heavy episodes if we weren’t together. Two scenes that come to mind are when Kevin was on the football field crying and at Jack’s tree, when Kevin’s talking to his dad. She wanted to hear my voice and make sure everything was OK. She said, “That didn’t look like acting.” It was a lot for her, and I wasn’t even sure she should watch that. It made her think, like it would for anyone, what would you do it you lost your mom or your dad? At a young age, it’s not supposed to happen that way. So, she checks in and wants to hear my voice and make sure I’m not crying and OK.

I get it, because I’ve been affected by things that Kevin has done. I get lost in the moments. When I did that scene with Milo—[Ed note: When Kevin hallucinates thinking Jack is on stage giving him an award]—I think of my daughter. I think about how much I’ve taught her and what a sliver it has been so far. I think of all the things I want to teach her and see her go through. I want to walk her down the aisle. I want to be there when her kids are born. I want to call her when her boyfriend breaks up with her, or talk her through a breakup. I want to teach her how to drive. All this stuff. I want to take her to college and make sure she knows everything is OK and I’m only a phone call away. I want to pick her up from college and bring her home. I want to be there at the airport.

Can you imagine missing all of that? So, for me, that’s what I was tapping into when I was doing those scenes with Milo as Jack. To imagine Kevin being in a place where if he can experience just one more embrace…you just want one more little moment.

I try to make sure my daughter has a great relationship with her grandparents, her stepmom, her mom, and her friends. I’m trying to give her every single thing that I never had—and I had a good childhood. I just want to make sure she has all those things and keeps her feet on the ground.

I love my own dad very much; he’s a fair man, but he’s a hard man. I think he does the opposite sometimes of what I do with my daughter. I will praise, praise, praise her, and he’s old school. He comes from that old school generation where it’s like, I’ll let you know when something’s wrong and maybe pat you on the back every once in a while. You know when you’re doing good. I don’t need to tell you. I can tell that he’s proud, and he’s said as much. But up until this role, I don’t think he’s seen me do anything like this. I can tell that he’s a little bit shocked. So the fact that he thinks This Is Us is the best show on television…to me, that’s really cool.

I pull from both of my parents and try to be as loving as I can with my daughter, but also understand we’re not always going to be best friends. I don’t remember the last time I got upset with her. It’s hard to get upset when they do so many things right. I want her to enjoy her life, but also make the right decisions. There are things I could circumvent to make sure she doesn’t go down the wrong path, but you have to make mistakes too. I don’t know how to be a kid anymore, so I’m kind of learning from her as well. They have it tough. There’s a lot going on with social media. Everything has changed. But it’s a team effort. Hopefully, I help her be a better kid. That’s my job.

I’ve always been a really sensitive guy, but I hope This Is Us slowed me down a little bit. I try not to focus on the things that are out of my control, which is most things. I certainly don’t worry about things the way I used to. It’s nice to be part of something that proves what you thought you could do for years, and then you finally get a chance to do it. To be given the opportunity to do something and go, “This is what I’ve been telling people forever that I can do”…well, that’s awesome. And now I better do it.

This interview has been edited and condensed for clarity.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber Are Now Attending Bible Studies Together

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are the most couple-y maybe-couple in Hollywood. Don’t know what that means? Well, it’s the phenomenon where two celebrities don’t confirm their relationship, but galavant all across town doing things only boyfriends and girlfriends do. This, in a nutshell, describes Gomez and Bieber in 2018. They’ve gone on laughably-staged bike rides together, candy store vacations, and house parties—all while staying frustratingly mum on their relationship status. The proof is in the pudding, though: I mean, Gomez has worn Bieber’s sweaty hockey jersey on multiple occasions. You don’t do that unless it’s capital L-O-V-E.

And we can add this latest outing to the mountain of evidence that “Jelena 3.0” is alive and well. Photographers caught Gomez and Bieber attending a Bible study together January 31, which is very on-brand for them these days, seeing as how they reportedly reconnected at Hillsong Church. You know what they say: First comes Disney puppy love, then comes a messy breakup followed by a reconciliation sponsored by Jesus himself.

Check out two of the photos from last night, below. In the first, Bieber is clearly thinking, “Wow, I’m so excited about church and the fact Selena’s in this car with me.” Meanwhile, Selena’s thinking, “Where TF is my phone?”

“Sorry, Justin, I can’t look at you unless you’re wearing a Wizards of Waverly Place T-shirt”—what (I hope) Gomez is thinking in the photo, below.

Their date didn’t end with God, though. After they got their Bible on, Gomez headed to the ice rink to watch Bieber play yet another hockey game. It was no-doubt sweaty, which probably made both Gomez and Bieber happy.

Hashtag-blessed, am I right? Who knew Bible studies and sweat were the two things Gomez and Bieber needed to rekindle their flame?
