The Kardashian Christmas Card Didn't Show Kylie Jenner, and Fans Are Freaking Out


When the Kardashian-Jenner family started rolling out their annual Christmas card (or “Krismas” card) photoshoot piecemeal at the beginning of December—while keeping lips zipped about the reports that youngest Jenner daughter Kylie is pregnant—many fans put two and two together and concluded that Kylie’s “reveal” would come via the card, likely on December 25. Especially after the family confirmed that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting via surrogate, and that Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are expecting their first, it was kinda like, people just wanna say congrats, so, you know, why not confirm it already?

But Christmas Day came and went with nary a Kylie-related post in sight. In fact, Kim posted the full card, a picture of basically the whole family, plus a tree, and didn’t even mention the fact that Kylie was nowhere to be seen. Which is kind of weird even if Kylie isn’t pregnant, right? There’s all the sisters, there’s Kendall, there are the kids, but…no Kylie.

Of course, Kylie doesn’t owe the world pictures, or even an announcement, and if she wants to say something, she has every right to do it when she wants. But many fans had some thoughts about it: What was all that rollout for, especially when we all know something might or might not be up? Why not just post a message saying how happy the family is for Kylie and maybe the month she’s due, so we can all get on with our lives? What game are you playing at, PR Queen Kris Jenner?

Even celebrities were invested in the story. Hills star Spencer Pratt theorized that Kylie was too expensive for the card, while country singer Kelsea Ballerini summed up pretty much everyone’s feelings with, “there is too much space in my brain being consumed by this thought currently and I’m really needing to get an answer and move forward with my life.”

Seriously.

Selena Gomez Liked One of The Weeknd's Pics, and the Internet Is Freaking Out


Selena Gomez and The Weeknd sadly saw their romance fizzle out at the end of October. But thanks to social media, we live in a time where we never really lose track of our exes. They’re always out there in the “searchable somewhere,” which is both a blessing and a curse, depending on how it all went down in the end. It’s almost worse when you’re a celebrity—not that I’m speaking from experience here, but it must be, given that you have legions of stanning followers who adored you with your once-significant other and want nothing more than for you to get back together with them, despite whatever personal reasons you might have broken up for. Just guessing here.

Of course, when it comes to celebrity relationships, any sort of non-confrontational or friendly gesture from one half to the other becomes something newsworthy. Add to that the fact that she’s purportedly back with ex Justin Bieber—so when Gomez recently liked one of The Weeknd’s pictures—a picture of him, no less—the Internet lost its damn mind.
