Rihanna Designed a Savage X Fenty Lingerie Capsule to Benefit Her Foundation—And Everything's Under $100


With her inaugural Savage X Fenty lingerie show, Rihanna really flipped the script on New York Fashion Week—with an incredibly diverse cast (and immersive performance experience), a model in labor, impressive social media engagement… And she’s riding all that buzz to announce a brand-new launch for the label—and one with a deeply personal meaning for the performer and designer.

Savage X Fenty released a limited-edition capsule collection benefitting the Clara Lionel Foundation, the non-profit Rihanna founded in 2012 (and is named after her grandparents) that benefits education and emergency response programs globally.

There are three pieces: a cotton tank top, logo bikini bottom, and satin robe. They bear a custom logo (which you can see most clearly on the robe) that marries the world of Savage X Fenty with that of the organization.

“This sleepwear set is stylish and comfortable. But more than that, when you wear it you know you have taken a stand and given back to an incredible cause,” Rihanna said in a statement. As with all Savage X Fenty drops, the capsule comes in a size-inclusive range of XS through 3X. The tank top and bikini bottom are sold as a set for $63, while the robe retails for $68.

Rihanna has used her companies and brand affiliations to benefit the Clara Lionel Foundation in the past. This Savage X Fenty capsule joins the Fenty Killawatt Diamond Ball-Out, Fenty x Puma Clara Lionel Women’s Creeper, and Dior’s We Should All Be Feminists T-shirt in fundraising for the organization.

Sephora Just Released Minis of Their Bestsellers—and Everything's Under $25

Good news for anyone who hates commitment, or who’s never before finished a lipstick: Sephora is launching a world of mini products, meaning you can now try a slew of their best-selling items. For the rest of October, the beauty retailer is leaning into fun-sized beauty with a collection they’ve called “Mini Madness,” and everything is under $25.

Theme sound familiar? MAC also just released a collection of mini lipsticks, lip glosses and eye pigments with their Little MAC collection, whetting the collective thirst for tiny, low-stakes beauty buys ($10 each; show us the person who could say no). But where MAC opted for a range limited to the three categories’ best-sellers, Sephora is more expansive with its miniaturized, cult-favorite picks.

Among the newly shrunk options: Benefit’s Hoola Matte Bronzer, a trio of mini Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipsticks, a quartet of Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighters, and Drunk Elephant’s T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial. If you don’t recognize those names, just know they’re beloved in the makeup world—as are just about all of the mini me’d picks, with the clincher that they’re actually affordable now. For some idea of how those prices normally stack up, Babyfacial typically goes for $80. Now is the time to act.

Given that beauty sales usually slow down after Labor Day, this fall’s taken a weird turn (see: Ulta’s huge fall sale; Kat Von D’s lipsticks going for $12 each). But you know, the dream of rolling around on a bed of makeup is thriving, and it’s tough to complain about that.

Lou & Grey Is Launching Activewear—and Everything's Under $130


Lou & Grey markets itself as the foremost purveyor of all things cozy—whether that’s soft knits, breezy dresses, or trousers that feel like a second skin. So it was only a matter of time before the Ann Inc.-owned fashion brand ventured into the realm of athleisure. Though the retailer has carried select activewear pieces in the past, it’s always been either from different labels or collaborations. Today, Lou & Grey officially enters the fitness space with Form, their own line that fits your workout and lifestyle needs—whatever those may be.

“The launch of Form is a natural extension of what we are already doing at Lou & Grey,” Austyn Zung, SVP Creative Director of Design at the brand, tells Glamour. “We’re continually following our instincts, organically expanding into more items that women want today. There are so many great active wear brands out there, but none that perfectly complement the Lou & Grey aesthetic and the story we’re telling, [so] were really excited to take it on.” Form is launching with 22 pieces, and prices start at $44.50 for a tank top going up to $128 for a scuba-like jacket, and is divided into three categories: high impact (meant for high-intensity workouts, like running and spinning), low impact (optimized for yoga and barre), and anytime (designed for everything in between). The inaugural offering includes athleisure staples such as joggers and blousy sweatshirts, so there’s something for all levels (and desire) of physical activity.

In terms of design, those who are already fans of the brand’s aesthetic will love the new stuff. Explains Zung: “The biggest difference in our Form pieces are the performance properties and capabilities: fabric wicking, reinforced seams, reflective tapes. The clothes have the sensibility and style of Lou & Grey, with the addition of technical properties intrinsic to active wear such as fabric wicking, heat-sealed seams, and reflective zippers.” Plus, there’s plenty of millennial pink, should you be into that sort of thing. Oh, and Lou & Grey’s commitment to comfiness-above-all wasn’t forfeited for this launch: The Form pieces are sleek but cozy, optimized as much for fit as they are for physical activity. Plus, if you’re #TeamOffDutyLeggings, the brand’s take on classic high-waisted style will fit well in your repertoire—I tried them, and was super impressed with the material. It’s thick and opaque and features minimal detailing, so that hot yoga-to-brunch transition is as seamless as it’s ever been.
