Sephora's VIB Sale 2018: The Best Deals to Shop for Beauty Insiders


At the risk of sounding dramatic, Sephora’s VIB sale is one of the best things that happens all year. For beauty obsessives and casual shoppers alike, no one can turn down up to 15 percent off everything in Sephora, if only for the chance to stock up on the things you know and love. So, you could do that—or you could go with the “why the hell not, this happens once a year” mindset, and take home whatever it is that you’ve been coming back to for your last five Sephora visits.

VIB Rouge members (shoppers who spend $1,000 each year) already got early access, but for everyone else, the sale runs from April 20 to April 23. Late Rouge shoppers can still get 15 percent off with the code YAYROUGE, as can those with VIB status (people who spend at least $350 a year) with the code YAYVIB. Ulta Just Launched a Huge Holiday 'Beauty Blitz' Sale With Different Deals Each Day


When it comes to beauty sales, Ulta always brings the heat. Its trusty 21 Days of Beauty Sale is basically a holiday in and of itself—and let’s never forget the store’s killer Black Friday sale this year. But now the beauty retailer is kicking things up a notch and celebrating the start of the gifting season with its Holiday Beauty Blitz Sale, and there are crazy good discounts happening each day until December 25.

The way this sale works is that Ulta’s giving us new deals in store and online each and every day—and there are some seriously good offers going on. The catch? They’re only telling us what’s going on sale five days at a time. The sale started yesterday (the first product up for grabs was the Smashbox Drawn In. Decked Out. Shadow + Contour + Blush Palette)—but it’s not too late to join the party!

So break out your holiday gift-giving list; grab that magical piece of plastic from your wallet; and get shopping. Yesterday’s deal sold out, and there’s no guarantee upcoming days won’t do the same.

December 2: bareMinerals foundations are all just $19—instead of their normal $28-34. And yep, this includes the original, best-selling powder, the liquid line, and the brand’s well-reviewed Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream SPF formula. Sephora Just Launched a Surprise Thanksgiving Sale, and the Deals Are Incredible


In case you’ve been refreshing the Sephora site every three minutes to see when they’d finally let us in on the upcoming giant Black Friday sale, you can stop—because Sephora just dropped a surprise Thanksgiving sale on us. To make it even better, today’s deals are totally different from what’s dropping tomorrow.

Sephora surprised shoppers with an early sale last year, too—here’s hoping this is a yearly tradition—and this year’s deals aren’t messing around. We’re talking huge discounts on customer-favorite products like Becca highlighter, Stila lipsticks, Urban Decay eye sets, and skincare sets. And you won’t need to move from your Thanksgiving food coma—or battle the crowds—to shop it: The early surprise sale is only online at Sephora.com and on Sephora’s app.

For anyone looking for a lipstick that refuses to budge no matter how much stuffing you eat, there’s the Stila Stay All Day, Shimmer All Night Mini Liquid Lipstick Set. It comes in two very festive metallic shades: Patina Shimmer and Beso Shimmer. The price? A wallet-friendly $15.

If you know someone who wants their highlight to be so lit you can see from another planet, there’s the Becca Champagne Dream Lip & Highlighter Duo. Amazon Black Friday 2017 Beauty Deals: What to Expect


The countdown to Black Friday 2017 is almost here, and we’ve combed through—no lie—hundreds of discounts to bring you what’s actually worth your time and money (see the full list here). But we’ve saved the best for last: Amazon Black Friday deals.

As we all know, Amazon is the website of wonders untold: nothing can dull the excitement of typing “face mask” into the site’s search bar and coming up with the weirdest, potentially best product you’ve ever tried. So come Black Friday and its onslaught of deals, online shopping on the site gets even more dangerous. (To put things in perspective, last year Amazon took 36% of all online Black Friday sales). So what can you expect from 2017’s Amazon Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals? Like Sephora, the retailer is releasing its full sale details on the day of Black Friday—but, lucky for us, a few of the cuts have leaked ahead of time. Here’s what you can plan for, so far.

Jin Soon’s polish is beloved for both its ultra-smooth formula and gorgeous shades, and priced down 40%, this forest green is the ideal winter neutral. Meanwhile, this black and white topcoat is the quickest way to convince your friends that you have time for regular manicures. The best part: it works over bare nails, and skips the whole chipping problem.

You likely know someone who lives and dies by her Clarisonic. Paired with L’Oréal’s detoxifying mask (a clay and charcoal combo that revives dull skin), you’re in for a brighter complexion.

Just as long-lasting, Jouer’s Crème Eyeshadow Crayon was made for stubbornly oil lids. The formula’s on the dryer side, so once it’s on, it lasts.

This Black Friday brings us a double-edged sword. Fans of MAKE Cosmetics, prepare yourselves: a ton of the brand’s stock is on sale, which always raises our “discontinued?!” alarm. That said, we haven’t heard anything yet—and we love a sale. Pick between the brand’s Cream Gel Liner in Bronze, its Silk Satin Lipsticks (down to $15 from $25), and its glosses, now $15 as well. If you love the formulas, maybe stock up.
