Lou & Grey Is Launching Activewear—and Everything's Under $130

Lou & Grey markets itself as the foremost purveyor of all things cozy—whether that’s soft knits, breezy dresses, or trousers that feel like a second skin. So it was only a matter of time before the Ann Inc.-owned fashion brand ventured into the realm of athleisure. Though the retailer has carried select activewear pieces in the past, it’s always been either from different labels or collaborations. Today, Lou & Grey officially enters the fitness space with Form, their own line that fits your workout and lifestyle needs—whatever those may be.

“The launch of Form is a natural extension of what we are already doing at Lou & Grey,” Austyn Zung, SVP Creative Director of Design at the brand, tells Glamour. “We’re continually following our instincts, organically expanding into more items that women want today. There are so many great active wear brands out there, but none that perfectly complement the Lou & Grey aesthetic and the story we’re telling, [so] were really excited to take it on.” Form is launching with 22 pieces, and prices start at $44.50 for a tank top going up to $128 for a scuba-like jacket, and is divided into three categories: high impact (meant for high-intensity workouts, like running and spinning), low impact (optimized for yoga and barre), and anytime (designed for everything in between). The inaugural offering includes athleisure staples such as joggers and blousy sweatshirts, so there’s something for all levels (and desire) of physical activity.

In terms of design, those who are already fans of the brand’s aesthetic will love the new stuff. Explains Zung: “The biggest difference in our Form pieces are the performance properties and capabilities: fabric wicking, reinforced seams, reflective tapes. The clothes have the sensibility and style of Lou & Grey, with the addition of technical properties intrinsic to active wear such as fabric wicking, heat-sealed seams, and reflective zippers.” Plus, there’s plenty of millennial pink, should you be into that sort of thing. Oh, and Lou & Grey’s commitment to comfiness-above-all wasn’t forfeited for this launch: The Form pieces are sleek but cozy, optimized as much for fit as they are for physical activity. Plus, if you’re #TeamOffDutyLeggings, the brand’s take on classic high-waisted style will fit well in your repertoire—I tried them, and was super impressed with the material. It’s thick and opaque and features minimal detailing, so that hot yoga-to-brunch transition is as seamless as it’s ever been.

The whole range makes its debut on Lou & Grey shelves today. Check out the collection in full, ahead.

Kate Middleton & Prince William Win Over $100,000 Over Topless Photos

The verdict is in: Two French gossip publications will have to pay up after publishing topless photos of Kate Middleton.

Back in 2012, the French magazine Closer and the local newspaper La Provence published photos taken with with telephoto lenses of the Duchess of Cambridge sunbathing topless with Prince William at a chateau in France. Closer‘s headline translated to “Oh My God: the photos that will go around the world.” Sure enough, the photos spread to other European publications—despite the couple’s getting an injunction against their further use.

After the photos came out, William and Catherine sued Closer‘s editor and owner and the photographers who took the pictures—who were part of a celebrity photo agency—for violation of privacy. Five years later, they’ve now been awarded 100,000 euros ($118,000) in damages by a French court—significantly less than the 1.5 million euros they asked for.

The Closer executives were each fined 45,000 euros ($53,000)—the maximum fine—and Catherine and William each got 50,000 euros ($59,000) from the executives and photographers.

Closer’s lawyer, Paul-Albert Iweins, argued at a hearing in May that “the public and private lives of the royal couple are so closely linked as to be inseparable” and “it’s of public interest to know that future heirs to the throne have a solid relationship and are getting on well.”

In a letter read by his lawyer during the same hearing, Prince William said the scandal was “particularly shocking because it reminded us of the harassment that led to the death of my mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.” (Princess Diana died in a car accident after her vehicle was chased by photographers in Paris.)

Soon after the photos were published, St. James’s Palace said in a statement that they represented a “grotesque and totally unjustifiable” invasion of privacy. It continued, “The incident is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and all the more upsetting to the Duke and Duchess for being so.”

Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington Frolic in the Streets of Italy for Dolce & Gabbana's New Campaign

If you watch Game of Thrones, or if you don’t watch but do exist on the Internet, you probably have some sort of feelings about the Jon Snow/Daenerys Targaryen relationship. For the latter crowd, a quick catch-up: Kit Harington’s Snow and Emilia Clarke’s Targaryen had some major sexual tension all season, and just as they got together, viewers found out the two were aunt and nephew. Yep. Cue the most mixed emotions an incest plotline has ever created, and to top it off, we’ve now got an entire year to stew in it before the show returns next summer. That’s the bad news. The good? The duo were cast to front Dolce & Gabbana’s newest fragrance campaign back in March, and a slew of videos just landed to stir our thirst.

Shot in Italy, the design house has graced us with four promo videos for The One Eau de Parfum and The One for Men (both $67). Clarke’s video begins with her walking the streets of Naples. Someone gives her a bouquet of flowers, there’s dancing, she eats a huge bowl of pasta. It feels a little bit like an idealized dream vacation. But, nope! Filmmaker Matteo Garrone shot the videos with city locals, so this is real-deal, genuine cultural warmth.

[embedded content]

Beautiful, all very well and good, but with the memory of Jon Snow’s butt still fresh, the Harington video is where it’s at. Following the same concept, Harington walks through the city smiling more than he has ever and probably will ever on Game of Thrones. (No brooding here.) He waves at an incredibly lucky person. He double-kisses an older woman like he’s known her for many years. He does that sexy dance-clapping thing; he is surrounded by a crowd of loving, happy-looking people, with pizza.

Sorry, but where was our invite to this pizza party in the streets of Italy, where we can find out what Jon Snow smells like? Lost in the mail, we can only assume.

[embedded content]

Dolce & Gabbana also released two behind the scenes videos from the making of the campaign. Major takeaways: the people of Naples are fantastic, and yeah, we’re incredibly jealous.

[embedded content][embedded content]

These are both directors cuts, so in all likelihood, a campaign of Clarke and Harington together is probably on the way. (Otherwise, come on, missed opportunity of a lifetime.) The One for Men has been around since 2008, but Eau de Parfum is brand new, a combination of madonna lily, bergamot, and white peach that’s rolling out in stores as we write.

The brand describes it as a “sensual scent,” so fingers crossed we won’t have to wait until 2019 to see sparks fly between Clarke and Harington. We’ll take whatever we can get.

The 'Will & Grace' Revival on NBC: Everything We Know So Far

Debra Messing says she hasn’t had much to laugh about since election night, but that’s about to change soon: NBC just announced that the Will & Grace revival has already been picked up for a second season. What else do you need to know about the Emmy-winning sitcom’s return? Here, everything we know…so far.

The series will return on Thursday, September 28. You can watch Will & Grace at 9:00 P.M. ET/PT, sandwiched between The Good Place at 8:30 and Great News at 9:30 P.M. Season two will presumably air in the fall of 2018, but no official date has been set.

NBC will air a new special to commemorate the original series a week before the premiere. The network and The Paley Center for Media are collaborating on the hourlong special The Paley Center Salutes the Best of Will & Grace, scheduled to air Tuesday, September 19 at 10 P.M. ET/PT. It will feature the best moments from the show’s original eight seasons as well as new and exclusive interviews with the cast and creators. Also included is never-seen-before behind-the-scenes footage.

Legendary director Jimmy Burrows is back to direct. Burrows directed every original Will & Grace episode and will do the same for the 16-episode revival.

You might be able to stream the series soon. Currently, old episodes of Will & Grace aren’t available online (shocking, we know), but cocreator Max Mutchnick said at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that they’re working on making the show available on streaming. The most likely place would be Hulu, which works closely with Universal Television, the studio behind Will & Grace.

The comedy will address politics, sex, social issues, and pop culture. “We’ll be shining a light on what’s happening today in our culture,” Messing revealed at the TCAs. “My hope is that now we can finish the alphabet” in terms of LGBTQ issues, storylines, and characters, noting that the original series mainly covered only lesbian and gay issues.

And don’t forget relationship drama! “They’ve always been successful at life and living,” the producers told EW. “It’s relationships that Will and Grace have always had the trouble with, and they still do.”

Forget the series finale from 2006. If you don’t remember what happened when the show went off the air 11 years ago, well, don’t worry about it. “It was more or less a fantasy, a projection into the future,” note the creators. (But in case you were wondering, Grace had a daughter named Laila with husband Leo, while Will and husband Vincent were raising a son, Ben.) In the revival Will and Grace will be single, without kids, and still living in their New York City apartment. Cocreator David Kohan told EW that “if [we wrote them with] children [now], then it has to be about them being parents, ’cause presumably it would be a priority in their lives. And if it wasn’t a priority in their lives, then they’re just bad parents, right? We frankly did not want to see them being either good parents or bad parents. We wanted them to be Will and Grace.”

But Grace’s love interest, Leo, will return. Harry Connick, Jr. will be back, but it remains to be seen if he’ll be playing Grace’s ex-husband or ex-boyfriend.

We’ll find out why Will and Grace are still living together. “Circumstances bring them together again,” cocreator David Kohan reveals. “They’ve lived their lives. However healthy or unhealthy [their living situation is], that will be addressed.” Joked Debra Messing: “We don’t care about being healthy!”

It’s back in time for Jack and Karen as well. The producers also told EW that Jack will return as Will and Grace’s neighbor, and Karen will “still get her drink on and live in that mansion. Will’s and Grace’s careers (Will is a lawyer; Grace an interior designer) will be the same, and Jack the actor will be teaching his own craft called ‘Jackting.'”

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Finally Cast Its Models! Alanna Arrington, Maria Borges & More

Ah, ’tis the season—and no, we don’t mean “pumpkin spice” just yet. But it’s the time of year where a new class of Victoria’s Secret Angels gets its wings.

We may be a few months away from the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, but preparations are well underway for the most extravagant, glittery catwalk of them all (which, rumor has it, will take place in Shanghai, China). 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show - Runway

On Instagram, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show veteran went deep about what the experience of going through the preparation and casting has taught her. “It takes a while to understand what a great key failure is,” she wrote. “And once you get that, everything becomes more beautiful in any area of your life. I have a LONG way of learning! But I just wanted this process to be part of who I really am, so I set that goal. I worked not only my body but my mind to live the previous days and the casting day itself with a different perspective. Had up and downs on nerve wrecking (of course), but I allowed myself to feel the real excitement it brings and a lot less insecurities. It wasn’t that easy cause I’m emotional and when you walk in there your whole perfect plan kind of falls apart! I remember my legs shaking while walking in my first VS casting. But I wanted to leave that room knowing that I gave all I could and I would be able to find peace within any answer. And I left it with tears in my eyes but of joy! What a great experience. I wanted this YES, but I worked for it and I am proud of myself, for getting it AND for how I went through it. Why are we so scared to be proud of ourselves? CELEBRATE YOURSELF. Celebrate your progress. All I want to say with this is try to turn your failures around because they’re only teaching us, work on your self love and DO NOT GIVE UP. Nowadays we managed to made it a hard job to LOVE ourselves but don’t stop working on it. Authenticity is something that will never stop shining. And whoever this reaches, here’s a message for you that I truly believe: you’re incredibly valuable, you have so much to give to yourself and others. Every single one of us. Do not give up. Realize your power. I take this with me forever so Thank You @victoriassecret @10magazine @ed_razek @monica.mitro @johndavidpfeiffer ❤️for the opportunity to go through it again and for the 2 past ones, and being able to learn along the way, and THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! for the incredible experience that is coming our way! I CAN OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCE THAT I AM WALKING THE VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW AGAIN. DON’T KNOW HOW TO EXPRESS HOW GRATEFUL I AM. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️?❤️? also big thank you to everyone involved in my progress and life.. you know who you are, I feel incredibly lucky. Gracias ESPAÑA ❤️??❤️??❤️”
