Chrissy Teigen and Luna's Matching Avocado One-Pieces Are Back in Stock, Because We Know You Wanted One


If you follow Chrissy Teigen on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that avocados, in various forms, are a constant in her life. It didn’t come as a huge shock, then, when she posted a photo of herself on the last day of shooting for her second cookbook (!) and was wearing a long-sleeved one-piece with an avocado print all over it. Oh, and Luna had a matching one. Cute overload.

Naturally, we had some questions—well, mainly just one: Where can we buy one, Chrissy?

Teigen knows to tag her outfit credits, though, so it didn’t take much sleuthing to discover that these mommy-and-me suits were by Mott 50, a brand that specializes in sun protective apparel.

Chrissy wore the Kelly (pictured above), which retails for $125, and Luna sported the Mini Mila (see below), which you can purchase for $44.

However, Mott 50 quickly sold out of the avocado-printed styles after Teigen posted her Instagram. However, those who were still hoping to cop Chrissy and Luna’s looks are in luck: The brand announced a restock of the two styles. And you can pre-order them right now!

The suits are expected to ship out between December 5 and December 15—right in time for the holidays. So, if you have a little avocado enthusiast in your life, we highly suggest gifting her with one of these and then taking a video with Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj playing in the background, like so:

While we patiently wait to see what Chrissy’s second cookbook has in store, we’re going to go ahead and replay that video (and pre-order some avocado onesies) until our boss’ catch us.

Chrissy Teigen Just Fangirled Hard Over Meeting Alicia Silverstone

Chrissy Teigen doesn’t really seem like the type to get starstruck: On social media, she comes off as super chill (unless she’s gushing about adorable Luna). But even someone as famous as she is isn’t immune to totally buggin’, as a recent moment with Alicia Silverstone proved. The actress, who starred as Cher Horowitz in a li’l ’90s movie called Clueless that you have most definitely heard of, met Teigen recently, and photo proof posted by a sleepless Teigen early Sunday morning is pretty much as close as we’ll ever come to seeing her freak out.

Even her caption on the photo, which was posted on Twitter, undermines the level of fangirling that was going on: “How am I supposed to sleep? I think I’ve asked for 2 photos in my entire life. @AliciaSilv and beyonce.” Which, wow, that’s a lot of restraint—but I guess when you’re Teigen, it’s completely normal to casually hang out with A-listers.

What makes the whole thing way more amazing is that Silverstone was dressed in her Cher outfit from Clueless. You know the one: the yellow plaid pleated miniskirt and blazer, topped off by white knee socks and white Mary Janes. It was a ’90s cultural icon come to life joining forces with a ’10s social media mogul—and we are so here for this meeting of the decades. Also Luna! Hi, Luna! Your cheeks are adorable.

So why the Cher costume? It turns out that Silverstone was taping an upcoming episode of Lip Sync Battle. Will she sing “Fancy,” Iggy Azela’s 2014 classic that recreated Clueless in its music video? Or maybe “Rollin’ With the Homies?” Who knows, but one thing’s for sure: This was definitely one of 2017’s greatest pop culture moments.

John Legend Just Serenaded Chrissy Teigen and Luna Over Instagram


John Legend lives up to his last name when it comes to his soulful, smooth voice: the crooner has brought us romantic, sexy feel-goods like “All of Me,” “Save Room,” and “Ordinary People.” (We don’t hate it when he brings in the ol’ piano, either.) He can also count on his family to appreciate his talent: little Luna, an arbiter of taste at just 18 months, has been known to have a good time at his concerts and get super-excited when her dad cameos on toddler classic Sesame Street. And yesterday, Chrissy and Luna got their own show when John serenaded them (over Instagram, but it was still kinda their own show). Leave it to Chrissy, however, to come back with the perfect response.

Here is the ‘gram in question. It appears to have been filmed Saturday night in what looks very much like a bathroom, the acoustics of which make his magic vocal cords even more resonant.

We all know Chrissy hates it when John doesn’t answer her calls, and this was no exception: apparently the Insta-concert didn’t make up for earlier rejected FaceTime calls (because it doesn’t, right?).

Chrissy Teigen Reveals the Horrible Messages That Inspired Her to Boycott Twitter


Chrissy Teigen is Twitter’s reigning clap-back queen. Everyone knows this. The Cravings author is famous for dishing out delicious shade whenever a troll writes her a rude comment. Whether she’s slamming someone who said she “peaked” or checking a person for criticizing her fertility plan, Teigen doesn’t hold back.

Most of the time, Teigen just calls out one person—one tweet—which gives off the impression most of the messages in her mentions are positive. Perhaps she tweets one thing, receives a swarm of nice responses, but then a few bad apples get in there and spoil the bunch. That’s why Teigen notices them and claps back accordingly.

But that’s wishful thinking. Teigen’s latest tweet shows this absolutely isn’t the case. It’s not just a few bad apples who sneak into her mentions; it’s a bunch. And they crawl into her feed within seconds. She proved this last night by exposing the tweets she received just minutes after suggesting that women boycott Twitter. A quick backup: Teigen urged women last night to stop using the platform because she thinks it needs to be safer for them.

“Ladies. Let’s do this. #WomenBoycottTwitter. Not because of hate but because I love this platform and know it can be better. Tomorrow. No secret timeline checking, no tweets, no clicking the bluebird square. They need to see we matter.I’m boycotting for many reasons. To stand with the victims of sexual assault, online threats, and abuse. And to boycott the fact our demented, pussy grabbing president can tweet nuclear threats of war I can’t even see,” she wrote.

The gross responses she received shortly after posting this prove why she pushed for a boycott in the first place. “My mentions since posting #WomenBoycottTwitter 3 minutes ago #thisiswhy,” she tweeted, along with a few screen-shots of some truly horrible messages. See it for yourself, below:

If this is what Teigen received only a few minutes after tweeting, we can’t imagine what her mentions look like now. Several female celebrities have talked openly about the offensive comments they’ve received online, but these screen-shots put a visual to the problem. And it’s a major. Hopefully, Twitter sees this and devises a plan to combat trolls for good.

Chrissy Teigen Designed a Collection for Revolve—and You'll Want Everything


We know Chrissy Teigen is a fan of Revolve—she’s been wearing pieces from the fashion e-tailer for years. So we were psyched when she announced a few weeks ago that she was designing a capsule for them. Today, we got a first look at the 36-piece collection—and, unsurprisingly, everything is highly Instagrammable.

Chrissy Teigen x Revolve features everything from pants to bodysuits to boots, all in neutral colors. “I imagine the collection being worn by like-minded women on the go,” Teigen said in a statement. “I wanted to create beautiful, classic pieces that are sexy yet comfortable. I also wanted to make sure the pieces were very versatile to be able to mix and match. The color palette in the collection is all neutrals in order to create that timeless look. It’s all about being confident and feeling sexy!”

Teigen has collaborated on clothing lines before, most recently with Intermix earlier this summer. Raissa Gerona, Revolve’s chief brand officer, said that the model embodies the retailer’s ethos—and the collaboration touches on a number of its most recognizable traits. “The collection celebrates sexiness, power, and dares the Revolve girl to be her best self and look good while doing it,” she noted.

Chrissy Teigen Asked Moms on Twitter for Moral Support, and the Responses Are Hilarious


If there’s an celebrity who has been transparent about being a mom—meaning she’s shown us that not every single moment is sunshine and rainbows—it’s Chrissy Teigen. She’s put mom-shamers in their place when they gotten out of hand. She’s taken down trolls who criticize her for undergoing IVF treatments. She’s even opened up to Glamour about her struggles with postpartum depression. It’s refreshing to see a woman being so open about the hard parts of being a mom, because society still tends to treat mamas like they have to be beacons of perfection—right when life is getting a little chaotic for them.

On Friday Teigen must have been having a particularly difficult day with her 1-year-old daughter, Luna, because she turned to Twitter for some support from her fellow moms. She might have also been looking for a good laugh with her tweet: “I am having a very rough day and it would help me a lot if any moms would like to share stories of their kids being mean to them.”

Hilarity ensued: if you didn’t already know, kids can be really freaking mean. Teigen’s tweet already has over 3,000 replies from moms and dads bullied by their savage offspring.

Of course Teigen’s followers brought out their best mean kid stories because, let’s be honest, we all have them. And while it’s frustrating to deal with in the moment, looking back on the crazy things kids say and do when they’re little is pretty hilarious. We’re hoping Chrissy reveals what’s been going on with her own little one. She did admit she’s gotten a few slaps in one response to a follower. But baby Luna is so cute, it would be impossible to stay mad at her.
