With more and more celebrities getting inked, their go-to tattoo artists have become celebs in their own rights, one of the largest being JonBoy. We asked the New York tattoo artist whose delicate designs have been spotted on Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin, to take us through his favorite works and most popular spots he’s inked. If you didn’t want a small tattoo before, we’re betting you’ll definitely want one now.
The Internet can’t stop buzzing about Ashley Benson and Cara Delevingne‘s relationship. The two actors confirmed to the world that they’re an item in June, when Delevingne posted a video of the couple kissing. (Benson commented on the post with three simple hearts.)
Now, it appears they have taken the next step in the celebrity relationship timeline: tattoos. In a new Instagram post promoting her collaboration with eyewear brand Prive Revaux, Ashley Benson’s newest ink was on full display, and it sure looks like it’s a tribute to Cara Delevingne. As you can see in the Instagram post, below, Benson has the letters “C” and “D” tattooed on her side, near her armpit. “So excited to share this with you guys ? My new collection with @priverevaux is here. Link in bio,” she wrote in the caption.
Fans quickly spotted the initials. “C.D magaaadd♥️?,” one person wrote. Another posted, “I spy caras initials!?.”

This isn’t the first time Benson has seemingly paid tribute to Delevingne. Last August, she posted a photo on Instagram wearing a necklace with Delevingne’s initial (“C”) and her own (“A”).
Though the couple seems super happy together, they’ve still had to deal with some drama and apparent homophobia. “Ashley I know you are here,” one stranger wrote on Benson’s Instagram back in April. “I’m serious, you need to stay away from that devil and never go back. I’m sure many strong, handsome, religious man [sic] would take you back in a heartbeat. You are not like this. You aren’t gay. You love men, and you need one.”
Benson didn’t take this comment lying down, of course. She shut down the troll with a simple, pointed statement: “You need to mind your own business. Stop making things up.” Say it louder for the people in the back, Ash.
Tattoos are without a doubt one of the most personal ways to express yourself. But because they’re literally permanent, there’s often a lot of pressure and indecisiveness around what you chose to go with. Whether you sort through the Instagram explore page, look at seemingly endless pages of tattoo ideas from your local shops, or take a shot searching with good old Google—finding inspiration can be (and usually is) extremely overwhelming. Thankfully, should you be on the search right now, you’ve come to the right place.
Featuring pet portraits in Austin, palm trees in Miami, and matching sets in New York City, we present to you the most popular tattoos trending right now across the U.S. Inspiration drought? Handled.
Remember all those rumors that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s relationship was in peril? Yeah, neither do we. The couple looked more united than ever this past week, after Jenner threw Scott an absolutely bonkers 28th birthday party, which included its very own tattoo station.
Thanks to a video from celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy (Jonathan Valena), we know that at one point in the evening, Jenner took control of the needle and gave Scott a tattoo. While we don’t know what the final image looks like, JonBoy’s caption, “T.S. [heart emoji] K.J,” might be a hint. In another video from the night, Jenner and Scott appear to be getting tattoos from JonBoy himself. With the Met Gala set to unfold on Monday, it’s possible we get our first look at the couple’s brand new ink as early as tomorrow.
That was just one of the many (many) highlights from the party, which Jenner said she creative-directed herself. Among the guests who enjoyed burgers and a giant birthday cake in the shape of an Air Jordan, were Madison Beer, Kanye West, and Kendall Jenner. Kim Kardashian was also on hand, and documented the extravagant evening on her Instagram Stories. “We’re in a fun house. I don’t know what’s going on here,” she said after walking through the mouth of a giant blow-up version of Scott. Yeah, that sounds about right.
Earlier in the day, Jenner paid tribute to Scott on Instagram, with a series of photos and a steamy caption. “Watching you evolve into the partner, friend, son, and father you are today has been so fulfilling ♥️ my real life bestie & hubby all wrapped into one,” she wrote. “i love you and I’m so so proud of you. happy happy birthday ?? let’s f*ck around and have another baby.”
Ariana Grande kicks off her Sweetener World Tour tonight (March 18) in Albany, New York, and she marked the occasion in a very Ariana Grande way: with a new tattoo.
After finishing late-night rehearsals, Grande hit up her regular tattoo artist Mira Mariah, a.k.a. @girlknewyork, for the latest addition to her ever-evolving body art. The new leaves on her upper torso surround the “always” tattoo she got during her relationship with Pete Davidson. (He also got a matching one at the time.) Grande insists she’s not trying to cover anything up, though—the “always” tattoo is still totally visible inside one of the new leaves.
“Post run thrus, 3 am with @girlknewyork 🙂 not a cover up just evolvin ? also, our show opens tomorrow,” she wrote on Instagram. “I love u and i’m so grateful. see u soon.” Mariah said of her latest creation, “Middle of the night leaves on the queen. I love you thank you this is all! So! Exciting! Happy tour ???”
Grande has covered up at least some of her Davidson-era ink. A few months ago, she had Myron—the name of Mac Miller’s dog—placed over the tattoo she got of Davidson’s father’s firefighter badge number. She also replaced her “Reborn” tattoo with a feather.
Of course, none of these tattoo stories top when she tried to get “7 Rings” inked on her hand in Japanese kanji, but a mistake made it actually read “tiny barbecue grill.” She promptly had it fixed. “Thanks to my tutor for helping me fix and to @kanenavasard for being a legend. And to my doctor for the lidocaine shots (no joke). RIP tiny charcoal grill. Miss you man. I actually really liked u,” she posted at the time.
Grande’s Sweetener World Tour is expected to run from March to October and will cover both North America and Europe.
After touching down in Casablanca in serious style last night for their royal visit to Morocco, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had a busy second day in the Atlas Mountains.
The couple spent the majority of their morning visiting with young women at Education for All, a national organization that builds and runs boarding houses for girls from ages 12 to 18, according to its website. Students staying in the EFA boarding house lined its entrance and performed a welcoming ceremony for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they arrived.
Once inside, Markle—who was wearing a navy Alice + Olivia navy blazer, skinny jeans, and her favorite Birdies black flats—got a henna tattoo on her left hand and wrist. “It’s for when we have a big party. Now she is pregnant we do the henna to keep her happy with the baby,” Khadeja Oukattou, an EFA housemother, told People of the design. “For good luck.”
She added that the girls were very excited about Markle’s pregnancy. “They wished them a good life and good health for them and the baby.”
Here’s a closer look at the beautiful design:

The henna tattoo, which was applied by one of the students, 17-year-old Samira Ouaadi, is traditionally given to pregnant women in their third trimester in countries like Morocco to protect mother and child from evil spirits. Markle’s sister-in-law Kate Middleton also got a henna design on a visit to Sunderland, England, when she was about seven months pregnant with Prince Louis last February.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry finished their time at the boarding house with a tour of the facilities, during which the duchess spoke to the girls in excellent French, according to royal expert Richard Palmer.
