Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been quite the jet-setting couple: from their engagement ceremony and party in Mumbai to hiking in northern California to recreating the engagement photos of their friends Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, they’re everywhere lately. Add to the mix the fact that they now seem to be wearing matching outfits, and you’ve got all the signs of a pretty close-knit couple. But for further evidence, one need look no further than Chopra’s Instagram, which shows the couple once again back in India—and this time, Chopra is proving to be the ultimate WAG.
Chopra, who’s filming The Sky Is Pink in Mumbai right now, showed up for Jonas’ soccer match there and documented her athletic fiancé’s skills with an Instagram slideshow. As it turns out, the match was a charity event starring not just Jonas, but also quite a few Bollywood celebs. The pics show Jonas in various states of play, from casting intense looks across the field to taking a knee with his teammates to chilling on the sidelines and…slo-mo walking.
“Bae in Bombae!! ?#friends #mumbai #football @nickjonas,” she captioned the slideshow. (The match took place in Mumbai, but hey, who isn’t down for a good pun?).
Just yesterday Jonas posted a pic of him “back in the studio,” so it seems this couple keeps quite a busy schedule.
If these two have any frequent-flyer points, I’m more than happy to take some off their hands.
After months of speculation (thanks in large part to a string of adorable photos and one closed-down Tiffany store rumor), Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonasfinallyconfirmed their engagement yesterday by sharing a string of sweet, intimate photos from their traditional roka ceremony on Instagram. In Hindu religious tradition, roka ceremonies are highly significant pre-wedding ceremonies signifying the first step in the wedding process. They take place in front of members of both families and are often followed by a big celebratory party. In Priyanka and Nick’s case, the big afterparty took place Saturday night in Mumbai, and according to photos and videos that guests shared on Instagram, it was a pretty magical celebration.
Taking to Instagram stories, Nick Jonas shared an adorable video from the dance floor, where the singer head-bops alongside Priyanka as she dances with her friend and fellow actress, Anusha Dandekar.
Jonas also shared two sweet photos from the party—one of the couple with his parents Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr, and another of his father and Chopra’s standing side by side.
Priyanka’s cousin, actress Parineeti Chopra, also shared an inside glimpse of the party, posting a string of photos with the newly-engaged couple to her Instagram. But what was perhaps even more intimate was a post the actress shared on Instagram alongside a sweet message that called Jonas “the perfect man” for her cousin.
“Today I witnessed magic and a fairytale…When we were kids, mimi didi and I used to play “ghar ghar”. We would pretend to be shy brides, have imaginary children, and serve tea to our husbands! ?? cheesy, but its because we always believed in the magic of love and hoped we would both find that perfect man for us one day!! Today there was no pretending. I cant think of a more a perfect man for her. Like I said this morning, there are two ways of judging a human being. One – travel with them, and two, eat with them. But these post-engagement party photos weren’t the only heartwarming images that surfaced on Instagram yesterday. After Nick and Priyanka officially confirmed their engagement, Nick’s mom Denise Jonas posted an adorably sweet message for the happy couple. “‘I have found the one whom my heart loves’ Song of Solomon 3:4 Congratulations @nickjonas @priyankachopra on your engagement. Welcome to the family!”
Nick’s dad, Kevin Jonas Sr., joined in, posting photos from the day with the caption: “What an amazing day of celebration for @nickjonas and @priyankachopra engagement and Indian culture.”
Priyanka’s future sister-in-law Sophie Turner also took to Instagram to congratulate the couple—posting a photo and adorable caption praising Jonas for his choice of bride-to-be. “Wow. First I’m blessed with an incredible future brother-in-law, and now such an beautiful, inside and out, future sister-in-law. I’m so excited to welcome you into the family @priyankachopra. I love you both @nickjonas.”
In the end, if these gorgeous pics from the engagement festivities—and the loved-up vibes of the roka and party—are any indication, we’re betting the couple’s actual ceremony is going to be just as spectacular.
We have another whirlwind romance on our hands, my friends. People magazine reports Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are now engaged after just two months of dating. To be clear, this is just a report since Chopra and Jonas haven’t confirmed anything yet. In fact, they haven’t even confirmed their relationship in general. Still, the Internet’s freaking out over this because Jonas and Chopra are a (very) hot couple no one saw coming, which makes this engagement even more of a surprise.
In honor of this joyous occasion, let’s look back at their relationship history, starting with when they brought the fire emoji to life at the 2017 Met Gala.
May 2017: Chopra and Jonas attend the 2017 Met Gala together and set off a firestorm of dating rumors. They each played it coy, though, when asked about their relationship in interviews following the event “Yeah, we were on the same table and we already know each other,” Chopra told Jimmy Kimmel. “So he was like, ‘Hey, you wanna go [to the Met Gala] together?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, OK, let’s go together.’ It ended up working out.” Jonas doubled down on this, telling a radio station, “I’m single. [Chopra] and I knew each other from before.”
May 2018: Fast-forward to one year later—Memorial Day weekend—and the dating chatter intensifies again. Us Weekly publishes a report claiming Chopra and Jonas are seeing each other. “It’s a good match and they are both interested in each other,” a source told the publication.
Chopra and Jonas’ activities over Memorial Day weekend seemed to corroborate this report. They went on a total of three dates together: to a Beauty and the Beast Live show at the Hollywood Bowl Friday, a Los Angeles Dodgers game on Saturday, and a boat outing alongside Wilmer Valderrama, Glen Powell, and Chord Overstreet.

Everyone’s favorite maybe-couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been setting the Internet ablaze these past few days. They just spent the last week in India, where they reportedly attended a pre-engagement party together—and looked gorgeous in the process. Now they’re in Brazil, where Jonas just wrapped his performance at the VillaMix Festival. Of course Chopra was in the audience, and she posted something to her Instagram Stories last night that all but confirms she’s Jonas’ biggest fan.
The Quantico actress uploaded a video of Jonas on stage, presumably after he finished a song, and she captioned it “Him ?.” To drive the point home further, Chopra’s video zooms closer and closer onto Jonas’ face. (Side note: I wonder what her favorite Nick song is?)
See, guys? Chopra and Jonas are just like any other maybe-couple. They cheer each other on at work, pose for pictures together, and hide from dozens of paparazzi—ya know, normal people stuff.

Rumors of Chopra and Jonas dating kicked off during the 2017 Met Gala last year. However, things really turned up a notch this past Memorial Day weekend, when they went to a baseball game, concert, and spent a day on a boat together. Nothing says “romance” like hanging out with Chord Overstreet and Wilmer Valderrama on a boat, am I right?
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ relationship is keeping me up at night. Are they dating? Are they just friends who hang out on yachts together with former Glee stars? Your guess is as good as mine, TBH.
I mean, the evidence seems to be there, right? It all started at the 2017 Met Gala, which the two attended together and Chopra wore the earth’s longest trench coat. They weren’t rumored to be dating then, but after the event everyone was low-key shipping them. They’re charming celebrities, after all. In 2018, the only joy we have left is shipping charming celebrities.
Anyway, things reportedly heated up Memorial Day Weekend 2018 while I was eating Chipotle and watching old episodes of America’s Next Top Model. Jonas and Chopra supposedly went on two dates together: a baseball game and a live-orchestra performance of Beauty and the Beast. They also hung out on that aforementioned yacht and posed for photos I haven’t stopped looking at for two straight weeks. You can read the full story of their maybe-relationship inception here. It’s hot. It’s juicy. It features a photo of Jonas wearing suspect one-strap suspenders.
Those suspenders make an appearance below, too, in this Very Serious Investigation I conducted of Jonas and Chopra’s Instagram activity. If the whole Garrett-from-The Bachelorette controversy taught us anything, it’s that a double-tap has serious implications. Chopra and Jonas have double-tapped each other on the ‘Gram no less than 10 times—so, obviously, that means an engagement is just around the corner. Kidding, but could you imagine? The royal wedding would be shook.
You’ll be shook, as well, once you realize how much Chopra and Jonas have publicly interacted on Instagram. Things started out simple, with a series of photo “likes.” Jonas is clearly the thirstiest of the two, because he’s double-tapped more than Chopra.

Back to our regularly scheduled programming. Just this past week, Chopra commented on this photo Jonas posted of himself and a koala:”Who is cuter? Lol,” she wrote. The answer is, obviously, the koala. Nick Jonas isn’t “cute.” He’s the flame emoji come to life.
As is his rumored relationship with Chopra. Seriously, if these two are actually a thing, the world will implode from the sheer hotness of it. Instagram has the receipts, but what is the truth? We’ll just have to wait and see.
In case you missed it, Chopra and Jonas first put the idea of them as a couple in our heads at the 2017 Met Gala, which they attended together because they were both wearing Ralph Lauren outfits. The Internet pounced on the photos of the two of them—because of course it did, and theirs would be a glorious relationship everyone could get behind—but they denied anything beyond being good friends.
Cut to Memorial Day weekend 2018, when things seemingly went from zero to 60 pretty quickly. Over the course of one long weekend, the two were spotted at the Beauty and the Beast Live show, at a Los Angeles Dodgers game, and on a yacht with some other famous people where they looked more than a little cozy.
Fast forward to now, when Chopra posted several photos of her weekend—ending with a trip to In-N-Out with her gal pals, naturally. She captioned the photo: “Burgers and Chanel…my favourite combo with my fav girls.” Same, Priyanka, same.
Jonas, ever the gentleman, quickly double-tapped that photo and commented “That smile ❤️ ” on Chopra’s post. See below:
