Best TV Shows and Movies Premiering the Week of January 6

Bummed that the holidays are over? Tired of the cold weather? Same! This time of year can be a bit gloomy, but thankfully there are some new TV shows and movies airing this week to make things a little better. From the Golden Globes to new Hallmark original movies (yes, they are still coming), pop-culture should help you forget that the holidays aren’t for another 12 months. Well, at least temporarily.

Below, all the TV shows and movies to watch this week:

76th Annual Golden Globe Awards: Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg hosts tonight’s show, which is the true kickoff to awards season. The Globes are by far the most fun awards show because, well, the celebrities can drink. 8 P.M. ET on NBC

Lodge 49: The first season of this delightful show about an extremely optimistic surfer named Dud is now available for your streaming pleasure. It was originally on AMC. Streaming on Hulu

The Bachelor: How many times do you think they’ll talk about Colton Underwood’s virginity in the premiere? The limit truly does not exist. 8 P.M. ET on ABC

Good Trouble: In this spin-off of The Fosters, Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez head off on their own to Los Angeles, where crappy apartments, wine, and boy problems await them. 100 percent can relate. 8 P.M. ET on Freeform

Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club: Lohan’s triumphant return to entertainment is this reality show in which we learn about the ins and outs of her nightclub projects in Mykonos, Greece. Here’s hoping her iconic dancing makes a cameo. 8 P.M. ET on MTV

You’re the Worst: Season five of this beloved dark comedy series about two toxic people who find themselves in a relationship returns tonight, and it’s funnier than ever. 10 P.M. ET on FX

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: After a moment of panic when people thought Brooklyn Nine-Nine was dead, NBC stepped in and brought it back to life. Here’s hoping Andy Samberg and company are just as funny on a new network. We have a feeling they will be. 9 P.M. ET on NBC

Sex Education: A sexually-inexperienced teen uses his sex-therapist mother as inspiration for his next project: an underground sex therapy program at his school. Streaming on Netflix

One Winter Proposal: If you thought One Winter Weekend was something, just wait until you get a load of its sequel. Spoiler: It includes a proposal…during the winter. See what I did there? Taylor Cole and the rest of the original cast are returning. 8 P.M. ET on Hallmark
