Bella Hadid Dressed Up Her Bike Shorts With Diamonds, As One Does

Bella Hadid‘s style game has proven nothing short of iconic lately. From the 10-pound veil she debuted at the Met Gala last Monday to her channeling of ’90s film starlet aesthetics à la Liv Tyler, the 21-year-old supermodel has nailed an chic approach to fashion that’s uniquely her own. And this weekend at the 71st annual Cannes Film Festival, Hadid proved she mastered the high-low blend by mixing diamonds—and bike shorts.

The model stepped out in her look during an appearance at the “Le Monde Est A Toi” party at Magnum Beach on Saturday. The outfit centered around a pair of metallic silver bike shorts (part of the Yeezy x 2xu Season 7 collection, which launched last weekend). The model paired these with a cropped gray tee, an Alyx Baby-X black backpack, and a whole lot of sparkly Bulgari jewelry.

This look followed a drastically different dress the model sported earlier in the day for a Dior dinner. Her dinner look—an elegant red dress with an off-the-shoulder strap—was a stark change from the bike shorts and backpack she wore later in the evening. The jewels, however, remained the same:

Between her and Kendall Jenner’s embrace of the naked-dress trend, we can’t wait to see what Cannes brings us next.

Rita Ora Showed Up to the MTV EMAs in a Bathrobe, Dripping in Diamonds

Rita Ora isn’t here for red carpet gowns or worrying about her hair—at least when it came to the MTV European Movie Awards on Sunday. The singer, who was hosting the event, hit up the red carpet wearing a (very soft-looking) dressing gown and a towel artfully turbaned on her head.

Of course, it wasn’t an actual bathrobe, despite outward appearances. And all outward appearances did point to the opulent, massive-bell-sleeved hotel robes that are the stuff of our five-star dreams. In a case of art imitates life, the dressing gown is actually from the Spring/Summer ’18 collection of Palomo Spain, an androgynous menswear line you might just remember from the ruffled gown that Beyoncé wore in the first photoshoot with her newborn twins.

Beyond the robe and turban, of major note were the actual pounds of diamonds Ora must have been wearing that were dangling from her ears and around her neck, which we have definitely never worn in the bath (but probably would just to say we did, if we’re being honest).

Ora definitely had a glam squad going in the beauty department, too: Her skin is absolutely glowing, and her eyes are lined in smoky, coppery browns and set off with some magnificent lashes. The look was capped off with her queenly pose on the red carpet: a leg peeking, Jolie-style, out of the dressing gown; a casual hand in her pocket; and the other perched in the air, just waiting for a glass of wine and a sheet mask to be Photoshopped into it.

Aaaaand here’s proof it’s not an actual robe:

Twitter had some sassy thoughts about the look, as it often does.

Luckily Ora’s not above taking a little teasing: In a pre-recorded clip of her heading to the event, she’s seen getting into the car in the outfit. The driver turns around to say, “Jesus, you could have made an effort; it’s the EMAs!” Her response? “But it’s designer.”

Another stand-out look from the night? Demi Lovato‘s braless, topless suit jacket and waist-length hair transformed her into almost an identical version of one very famous reality star whose name rhymes with Jim Jardashian.

Taylor Swift Reportedly Lounged in $10 Million Worth of Diamonds in the 'Look What You Made Me Do' Video

Hey, did you know that Taylor Swift released a new music video? Well, did you know that in said music video, she takes a rather uncomfortable-looking but unquestionably lavish bath in a tub filled with what Page Six is reporting to be $10 million-worth of diamonds?

Early on in the “Look What You Made Me Do” video, Swift is seen lounging back in a tub filled to the brim not with a soothing bubble bath, but rather countless jewels—necklaces, rings, bracelets, you name it! And though at first, many focused on the single dollar bill that’s pictured laying among the diamonds (an inferred reference to the symbolic settlement she received for her recent sexual assault case), Page Six suggests that the rest of the stage props used to set the scene were considerably pricier. The total value of Swift’s not-so-casual soak is actually estimated to be a cool $10 million.

The bling shown in the bathtub was sourced from famed celebrity jeweler Neil Lane‘s vault, according to Page Six—and, unsurprisingly, required a lot of security monitoring. Hey, better safe than sorry—did you see how many Taylors there were in that video? Plus, they proved they were perfectly capable of staging a heist…

Revisit Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” for the upteenth time, below.
