Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' Flirty Instagram Activity: A Complete History

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ relationship is keeping me up at night. Are they dating? Are they just friends who hang out on yachts together with former Glee stars? Your guess is as good as mine, TBH.

I mean, the evidence seems to be there, right? It all started at the 2017 Met Gala, which the two attended together and Chopra wore the earth’s longest trench coat. They weren’t rumored to be dating then, but after the event everyone was low-key shipping them. They’re charming celebrities, after all. In 2018, the only joy we have left is shipping charming celebrities.

Anyway, things reportedly heated up Memorial Day Weekend 2018 while I was eating Chipotle and watching old episodes of America’s Next Top Model. Jonas and Chopra supposedly went on two dates together: a baseball game and a live-orchestra performance of Beauty and the Beast. They also hung out on that aforementioned yacht and posed for photos I haven’t stopped looking at for two straight weeks. You can read the full story of their maybe-relationship inception here. It’s hot. It’s juicy. It features a photo of Jonas wearing suspect one-strap suspenders.

Those suspenders make an appearance below, too, in this Very Serious Investigation I conducted of Jonas and Chopra’s Instagram activity. If the whole Garrett-from-The Bachelorette controversy taught us anything, it’s that a double-tap has serious implications. Chopra and Jonas have double-tapped each other on the ‘Gram no less than 10 times—so, obviously, that means an engagement is just around the corner. Kidding, but could you imagine? The royal wedding would be shook.

You’ll be shook, as well, once you realize how much Chopra and Jonas have publicly interacted on Instagram. Things started out simple, with a series of photo “likes.” Jonas is clearly the thirstiest of the two, because he’s double-tapped more than Chopra.

Behold, Jonas’ likes:

Loving the fact Instagram put Millie Bobby Brown’s “like” before Jonas’ here. Stranger Things‘ impact.

PHOTO: Instagram

Here for any thirst trap that involves a large-brimmed hat.

PHOTO: Instagram

A sweet Mother’s Day pic. I have nothing snarky to say.

PHOTO: Instagram

Missed opportunity: Jonas could’ve commented back “had me a blast.”

PHOTO: Instagram

Chopra really likes letting us know what season it is. A weather queen.

PHOTO: Instagram

Again with the weather: snow. Al Roker, who?

PHOTO: Instagram

And now onto Chopra’s taps. Most of them are from photos where Jonas just looks hot AF. Relatable.

The suspenders! But, also, the arms.

PHOTO: Instagram

Clearly, there’s a television out of frame playing Quantico in this shot.

PHOTO: Instagram

Hot people eating pizza! I feel so seen.

PHOTO: Instagram

Another sweet picture; no snark required.

PHOTO: Instagram

But let’s get to the good stuff, shall we? Chopra and Jonas’ comments to each other. There are only three of them, and they’re boring. I can’t stop re-reading them, naturally.

First, Chopra commented on a photo of Jonas and DJ Mustard with the double-heart and fire emojis.

PHOTO: Instagram

Fast-forward to this past weekend, when Jonas wrote “That smile” underneath a pic of Chopra and her friends laughing and eating In-N-Out Burger.

Side bar: Of course Chopra and her friends look like majestic swans when they eat burgers. Meanwhile, I’m over here with the same meal looking like:

Back to our regularly scheduled programming. Just this past week, Chopra commented on this photo Jonas posted of himself and a koala:”Who is cuter? Lol,” she wrote. The answer is, obviously, the koala. Nick Jonas isn’t “cute.” He’s the flame emoji come to life.

As is his rumored relationship with Chopra. Seriously, if these two are actually a thing, the world will implode from the sheer hotness of it. Instagram has the receipts, but what is the truth? We’ll just have to wait and see.

A Complete Breakdown of the Garrett Yrigoyen Controversy on 'The Bachelorette'

Garrett Yrigoyen was one of Becca Kufrin’s favorite suitors on her first night as the Bachelorette—so much so that she gave him the coveted first impression rose. But Bachelor Nation’s impression of Yrigoyen quickly wilted when reports surfaced he has a history of liking bigoted memes on Instagram. What followed in the days after this story came out was dramatic, even by Bachelorette standards.

If you’re just now catching up on this controversy, don’t worry: We broke it down, below, so you’ll know exactly what your Bach friends are talking about.

May 24: Former Bachelor contestant Ashley Spivey posts a series of tweets claiming Yrigoyen “liked” several Instagram posts that made offensive jokes about boys who wear makeup, Caitlyn Jenner’s transition, and the Parkland shooting survivors, among other topics.

“Can we do a better job of social media deep dives on the dudes that try out for #thebachelorette – FYI douchebags we can see your likes [sic]…After Lee’s problematic @$$, [sic] I truly thought this would be something we paid better attention to,” Spivey tweeted, referring to Bachelorette season 13’s Lee Garrett, whose racist tweets were discovered after his appearance on the show. “A contestant on this season of #thebachelorette liked all of these posts on Instagram and I’m thinking it will be very hard to pull for the type of person likes [sic] any of this.”

Check out her tweets—and Yrigoyen’s alleged “likes”—below:

Neither Kufrin nor Yrigoyen immediately responded to the tweets, and ABC told Glamour they had no comment. However, the silence was short-lived.

May 30: Kufrin gives an interview to E! News about Yrigoyen. “I’ve heard a little bit about it these past couple days,” she said. “I’ve just been so busy traveling around the country with press that I haven’t really been able to read too much up on it, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and at the end of the day I wanted to go on this journey to open up myself and have people see my love story unfold, and I would hope that they would stay open and respect me but also stay open and respect these 28 guys that went along on the journey with me.”

She expanded on the subject in a second interview with ON with Mario Lopez, according to People. “I met 28 guys who our ideals weren’t always the same,” she said. “They have different interests. They have different hobbies, different things that they believe, and that’s what’s been so great about getting to know these guys, because everyone has different viewpoints and that’s what I loved about this journey…I just want everyone to watch it back and to get to know these guys and to get to know me for who we really are and not social media, because that’s just a small glimpse into a person and it’s not always reflective of who they are.”

May 31: Late Thursday night, Yrigoyen took to his new Instagram account—he deleted his old one with the offensive “likes” attached—to confirm this activity was true and that he deeply regrets it. Below, read his full response:

To those who I have hurt and offended: This is all new to me. I wenton the Bachelorette for the adventure and possibility of falling inlove, not fame. “I did not know what to expect once the show aired. Iam sorry to those who I offended, and I also take full responsibilityfor my ‘likes’ on Instagram that were hurtful and offensive,” hecontinued. “garret_yrigs12 was my former Instagram handle and Idecided to take it down and start fresh because I have learned anextremely valuable lesson and am taking steps to grow, become moreeducated, and be a better version of myself. I am not perfect, and Iwill never be anywhere close, but now I will always be more informedand aware of what I am liking and supporting, not just on Instagram, but in life. I never realized the power behind a mindless double tapon Instagram and how it bears so much weight on people’s lives. I didnot mean any harm by any of it. My Instagram ‘likes’ were not a truereflection of me and my morals. I am not the negative labels peopleare associating me with. For those who do know me, I am a sincere, genuine, loving, light-hearted, open-minded and non-judgementalindividual. I like to make new friends with anyone I meet and wanteveryone to find their happiness. I love to laugh often and enjoyseeing others do the same. I hope that some day you can get to knowthe real me and the man that I am. Let my mistakes be a lesson forthose who mindlessly double tap images, memes. and videos on anysocial media content that could be many things including hurtful, degrading, and dehumanizing. I do not want my social media to definewho I am, and I will take better care moving forward to support allwalks of life. Again, I sincerely apologize and am sorry for any hurt, damage, or offense I may have caused.”

And so ends this drama—for now. Let’s see how the rest of The Bachelorette unfolds this season.

Here's a Complete Rundown of What Will Happen During the Royal Wedding

The countdown to the May 19 royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is officially on, and Kensington Palace has slowly but surely released details about the schedule for the day. After months of waiting, though, we finally have a minute-by-minute breakdown of the big day, which will take place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. Here’s everything you need to know :

The Service

9 A.M. The 1,200 members of the public invited to stand inside the grounds of Windsor Castle will begin to arrive and stake out their spots.

9:30 A.M. The approximately 600 invited guests will arrive at Windsor Castle’s Round Tower and enter the chapel through the south door.

11:20 A.M. The royal family will arrive through a different entrance, the Galilee Porch.

11:45 A.M. Prince Harry will arrive on foot with Prince William to St. George’s Chapel West Steps. There they will greet 200 guests from Prince Harry’s charities in the Horseshoe Cloister near the West Steps, where they will enter the chapel.

11:55 A.M. Per royal tradition, Queen Elizabeth II will be the last to arrive, followed by Markle and her mother Doria Ragland. They’ll have just driven through the Long Walk, where they’ll wave to the public. Markle will also join up with her bridesmaids and pageboys before the West Steps, where she’ll meet her father and enter the chapel.

Noon The wedding ceremony begins, with the Dean of Windsor conducting the service. It will last until 1 P.M.

The Procession

1 P.M. The service ends, and the newlyweds will greet their charity guests in the cloister before beginning a 25-minute carriage procession in the Ascot Landau carriage through the streets of Windsor. The rest of the guests will walk from the chapel to the luncheon hosted by the Queen at St. George’s Hall.

The Receptions

1:30 P.M. The married couple will arrive at the reception in St. George’s Hall at Windsor Castle.

7 P.M. Markle and Prince Harry will leave Windsor Castle for their evening reception, where a select 200 guests will join them at Frogmore House (which also happens to be the location of their engagement photo shoot). It will be hosted by the Prince of Wales.

Meghan Markle's Complete Style Evolution, in 74 Outfits

It’ll probably be a while until the excitement of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s engagement wears off. (Just kidding, we’ll never be over it.) And already, the Duchess-to-be is proving to be a fashion influence: Royal fans were immediately smitten with the outfit Markle wore to share her new relationship status with the world—so much so that her coat immediately sold out and was re-named after her. If you go back through the archives, though—even back to her pre-Suits days, the actress has always shown a proclivity for fashion: She considers designer Misha Nonoo a friend, and has made the rounds on the Fashion Week circuit; she gravitated towards simple sheath dresses earlier on in her career, but has since graduated to more varied pieces from labels like Alexander McQueen and Erdem. Judging from her style evolution, we have a feeling we’ll be getting even more great fashion inspiration from Markle once she assumed the royal spotlight.

Pass the time until her Spring 2018 “I Do’s” with a look back at Meghan Markle’s complete fashion transformation over the past eleven years, as told through 74 outfits.

VMAs 2017: Here's the Complete List of Winners

MTV’s 2017 VMAs will certainly go down in TV history for many reasons, but especially for being the first music awards to do away with gendered categories. (MTV made the same move for the TV and Movie Awards earlier this year.) Not only that, but the statuette became a Moon Person rather than a Moon Man. Progress!

It remains to be seen whether this move will inspire other awards shows like the Grammys, Oscars, or Emmys to move toward gender-inclusive categories.
