Pippa Middleton Just Confirmed She's Pregnant With Her First Child


Amid much speculation, Pippa Middleton finally confirmed that she and husband James Matthews are expecting their first child. Middleton announced the news in her recurring fitness column for Waitrose Weekend, a weekly magazine published by the British supermarket chain.

The article, titled “Exercising during pregnancy,” details Middleton’s fitness journey and the ways in which she’s adjusted her exercise regimen for her first trimester.

“When I learned the happy news that I was pregnant,” she wrote, confirming the news, “I realized I needed to adjust my normal 4 to 5 day a week routine and find a way of continuing my exercise safely throughout the three trimesters.” She continued by saying that although she’s read “loads” of content on how to safely work out during pregnancy, she has ultimately been “disappointed by limited technical information on what you can and can’t do.”

Middleton then offered some helpful tips on exercises for women in their first trimester of pregnancy, including lunges and squats.

“I’ve noticed my body change and weight increase,” she wrote about her fitness journey through pregnancy so far, “but through effective exercise and sports I feel that it’s being strengthened to support a healthy pregnancy, birth and recovery.”

Middleton also noted that “this being my first pregnancy, I had so many questions I felt were still unanswered” by the workout options available to pregnant women, but promised to keep the public updated with her findings. “Who knows what the next few weeks have in store,” she wrote to finish the article, “but I look forward to sharing my pregnancy workout experiences with you every month.”

Rumors about Middleton’s pregnancy have been circulating since April, just a few days before her sister Kate Middleton gave birth to Prince Louis. However, this is the first public confirmation that the couple has a new addition on the way. We’re looking forward to many more updates, fitness-related or otherwise, to come over the next few months.

America Ferrera Welcomes First Child With Husband Ryan Piers Williams


Congratulations are in order for America Ferrera, who has given birth to her first child with husband Ryan Piers Williams. The couple made the announcement on Instagram, uploading a close-up pic of their baby’s tiny foot and giving the post an adorable caption. “When 2 become 3…Welcome Sebastian Piers Williams – aka [sic] Baz! Mom, Dad, and Baby are happy, healthy and totally in love!” they wrote on their respective accounts.

Ferrera and Williams, who married in 2011, announced they were expecting a baby on New Year’s Eve. “We’re welcoming one more face to kiss in 2018! Wishing you #MásBesos in the New Year!,” wrote Ferrera under a photo of the two wearing 2018-themed party glasses and holding up a baby onesie that said “Más Besos (por favor)” or “more kisses (please)” in Spanish. Meanwhile, Williams captioned his post, “Making room for new and beautiful things to come in 2018!”

Since then, Ferrera has been prepping for motherhood with the help of her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars, Alexis Bledel, Blake Lively, and Amber Tamblyn. “They are a go-to for me, just one message away and I ask them a million questions. Everything from trying to wrap my mind around the actual birth to talking about what their experiences were and what to prepare for,” she told Us Weekly in April. “I’m so lucky that I have so many amazing women around me. Having their support has been everything.”

In January, the actress shared a baby bump pic featuring her Sisterhood sisterhood rubbing her belly. “Starting the New Year off with blessings from my Sisterhood. We’ve got work to do for the next generation. Let’s get to it. #TIMESUP,” she wrote.

Tamblyn was also instrumental in planning one of Ferrera’s baby showers alongside the actress’s friend Tamara. “Baby showers are for practicing. So insanely grateful for the village of women I have in my life who have shown up to love, support and celebrate (all of me) in style as I transition into motherhood,” Ferrera captioned a photo featuring Tamblyn pumping her fist while she and Tamara posed inside a cardboard vagina. “Boundless gratitude to my boos @todaytamara [and] @amberrosetamblyn for planning a magical and powerful celebration. And to @samlooksatthis for the gorgeous vagina.”

Rosario Dawson Just Opened Up About Being Sexually Molested as a Child


Luke Cage actress and feminist activist Rosario Dawson has opening up about her experience with sexual molestation as a child on new a podcast. Speaking on Friday’s episode of the Morado Lens show, Dawson recounted to hosts Cindy Rodriguez and Nathalie Farfan how the sexual abuse she went through as a young girl shaped how she perceived Hollywood and how she feels now as the #MeToo movement explodes.

“I was raped and molested as a child, so for me, the world was like that since I was a child,” she said in the devastating revelation. “So when I saw it in the workplace, it wasn’t foreign to me. It was like, well, that even happens within family. It happens with people that are supposed to take care of you when you’re a child.”

Back in October, she had come forward on Twitter under the #MeToo hashtag, though she did not share any specifics of her story in her original tweet.

Dawson has also been vocally involved with the Time’s Up movement, an initiative created by 300 powerful Hollywood women to establish a fund for women who have been experiencing sexual harassment or assault and might not be able to otherwise afford legal help.

On the podcast, she also spoke out about how glad she is that after decades of Hollywood’s stories of sexual misconduct being swept under the rug or avoided, the issue is finally being addressed. “Now we’re in a place where it’s finally like, ‘No, we don’t have to keep passing this on. This is archaic and terrible and destructive. Let’s look at it,” she said. “It’s beautiful. I’m so ready for this moment.”

Jessica Alba Welcomes Her Third Child, Hayes Alba Warren


Jessica Alba rang in 2018 in an incredibly special way: with another addition to her family.

On New Year’s Day, the actress and entrepreneur announced on Instagram that she and husband Cash Warren welcomed their third child—their first son—on December 31, 2017. The baby’s name, she revealed, is Hayes Alba Warren (his two sisters’ names also begin with Hs).

Alba posted a photo of Hayes on Instagram, along with a sweet message. “Best gift to ring in the New Year!! Cash and I feel so blessed. Haven and Honor are already obsessed with their new baby bro. ??? #familyof5,” she wrote.

Warren posted a sweet picture to his Instagram account, too, of him holding Hayes. He captioned it: “Hayes Alba Warren: You sure know how to ring in the new year! You showed up a few days early but we couldn’t be any happier. Your Mamma is the strongest woman I know … you’re so lucky to have her by your side. You have two amazing sisters who already adore you and I know you’ll be thankful to have them guide the way. On your first day of life, I promise to love you, to cherish you, and to provide you with a sandbox full of dreams to explore. Welcome to the family my sweet baby Hayes!”

Alba announced her pregnancy in July, with a Boomerang featuring daughters Honor and Haven, each holding a balloons in the shape of a”1″ and a “2,” respectively; their mom was holding one in the shape of a “3”. She explained in the caption: “@cash_warren and I are officially going to be outnumbered #babyonboard #herewegoagain ????#blessed?.”

Outnumbered Alba and Warren might be, but we bet the whole family is thrilled with this new addition to kick off the year. Congrats to the happy family!

Eva Longoria Confirms She's Pregnant With Her First Child


Eva Longoria is one busy woman. Not only is she producing a new family comedy for Fox, continuing her work as a spokesperson for L’Oréal, and starring in the upcoming remake of the classic film Overboard, but she’s also about to become a new mom.

According to E! News, the actress confirmed that she is expecting a baby with her husband, Jose Bastón. It will be the couple’s first child together and Bastón’s fourth. As E! noted, the actress, who is 42, has long been open about her desire to have children one day, but always remained steadfast that she wasn’t in a rush.

“If it happens, it happens, if it’s meant to be it would be a blessing,” Longoria told Ocean Drive in 2016. She additionally told People that she has never felt like she is missing out on motherhood, especially because of her special connection with her stepchildren. “[My stepchildren] have been such a gift in my life. I don’t feel like we’re lacking because we don’t have a baby,” she said.

The actual pregnancy news must come as quite the relief for Longoria’s family, who have long endured fake pregnancy rumors from tabloids for years. Just last April Longoria was vacationing in Hawaii at the Four Seasons Maui in Wailea with her husband and decided to share a few of the sun-soaked moments with her fans on Snapchat. But mere moments after her snap went live rumors began to swirl that the actress and producer was expecting. Longoria was quick to shut those stories down, again taking to Snapchat to say, “I saw some pictures of myself on a boat, and I have to tell you all I did was eat cheese. Everybody is saying I’m pregnant, and I’m not. I was just lactose-intolerant apparently.”

Longoria didn’t stop there. She added, “I just had to share because my whole family is calling me asking me if I’m pregnant. Yes, I look pregnant, but that was just a ball of cheese in my stomach…everybody gets bloated. I’m not bloated today, but this is pre-pancake. I’m about to go eat a pancake.”

Chrissy Teigen Is Pregnant and Expecting Second Child With John Legend—See Their Announcement


It’s official: Luna Legend is going to be an older sister. Chrissy Teigen announced on Instagram today that she and John Legend are expecting their second child.

Teigen revealed the news in the most Chrissy Teigen way possible: by uploading a video straight to social media. In it, Teigen’s daughter Luna is on her lap when she subtly lifts up her shirt to reveal her belly and asks, “Luna, what’s in here?” Luna enthusiastically replies, “baby” and Teigen follows up with, “Is it a baby?” So, yes, my friends, Teigen literally announced this pregnancy by having Luna point to her stomach and say “baby.” If that’s not the cutest thing in the world, then what is?

To drive the point home even further, Teigen hilariously captioned the video on Instagram with, “It’s John’s!” Check out the clip for yourself, below:

Legend confirmed the news on Twitter too, sharing Teigen’s Instagram video and writing four emojis: “?? ?? ❤️ ❤️ .” They’re seriously the greatest family on the planet.

Teigen and Legend welcomed baby Luna in April 2016, and she’s since talked about having more kids. In October she officially revealed that she and Legend were trying for a second child.

In Glamour‘s April 2017 cover story, Teigen opened up more about Luna and her struggle with postpartum depression.

“Most days were spent on the exact same spot on the couch and rarely would I muster up the energy to make it upstairs for bed,” she wrote. “John would sleep on the couch with me, sometimes four nights in a row. I started keeping robes and comfy clothes in the pantry so I wouldn’t have to go upstairs when John went to work. There was a lot of spontaneous crying.”

She also noted in this essay that having postpartum depression hasn’t deterred her from wanting more kids. “I love John and Luna more than I can imagine loving anything, and John and I still hope to give Luna a few siblings. Postpartum hasn’t changed that,” she wrote.
