Chrissy Teigen’s Snapchat is a gold mine, to be honest. It’s chock-full of adorable photos of Luna, candid moments between her and John Legend, and food pics galore. She does have a cookbook, after all. Of course her social media feeds are filled with food porn.

Teigen is obviously the mastermind behind her Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitter, but she does have help—namely her assistant, Christine. We learned this last night when Teigen posted a text-message chat she had with Christine, where the assistant royally roasted her for accidentally showing her nipple in a Snap. (To be clear, there’s nothing wrong with nipples, but if Teigen showed hers on social media by mistake, then it’s kind of her assistant’s job to flag it.)

“FYI your nipple was fully out in one of your Snaps,” Christine texted Teigen. “I deleted it.”

One of Teigen’s Twitter trademarks is posting hilarious receipts. Remember when she called out Legend for apparently not answering her calls during an earthquake? “@johnlegend hey I’m alive it’s fine you don’t have to answer your phone I WOULDNT WANT U TO WORRY,” she tweeted shortly after Los Angeles was hit with a 3.6-magnitude quake in mid-September. This shade happened, of course, after Teigen went on a hilarious Twitter rant about said earthquake. (She used the word “shook.”)

For some of us, getting ready for a night out can take hours: the shaving of the legs, the taming of the brow—plus whatever makeup combo we’ve opted for, whether it’s a dark lip or a smoky eye (and, let’s be real, we save a little extra time for a shaky eyeliner do-over). New video footage has surfaced, however, as a reminder that stars are just like us—that is, if we had four hands instead of two doing all the work. And in an ideal world, our own two hands would be scrolling through Twitter and checking Instagram while we got beautified. For Chrissy Teigen, that’s exactly how it works, according to a mesmerizing video her makeup artist, Emma Osborne, posted on Friday.

The time-lapse video opens with Teigen perched in her chair, waiting for her glam squad to begin. She’s in a bathrobe and has towel-dried hair, face bare of any visible product (she looks pretty gorg already, to be honest). A quick cameo by a shirtless John Legend adds to the stunning physical effect. Then, it begins: a flurry of hands drying and styling her hair, applying product, and brushing on mascara comprises the absolute symphony that takes Teigen from out of the shower to out on the town.

Here, Teigen’s going for nude lips, a trademark bold brow, and her usual bronzed and dewy complexion—thanks to help from a few products, like the famous Beautyblender, EX1 Cosmetics, Iconic London (Teigen’s been known to wear the company’s illuminator), and Becca Cosmetics (which Teigen did a collab with).

So cool, right? Apparently the whole process actually took the two pros a total of an hour and a half—which means about three hours for us mere mortals with only two sets of hands, plus a little more for that damn eyeliner.

The sun shines, and Chrissy Teigen continues to be a bright spot on social media. The model and author has a voice entirely her own on Twitter and Instagram, and you could compare her updates to little pebbles of joy you collect and cherish during the times when social media takes a dark turn (as it’s wont to do these days). And when her husband, John Legend, gets in the mix, only good things ensue.

For example, there was that time Teigen and Legend prom-ified a movie night, complete with a homemade corsage and the quintessential prom pose photos. They’re like that couple that’s revoltingly cute, but just funny and self-aware enough about it that you want to third-wheel every date. And it’s not all jokes and faux Twitter feuds: Legend just posted a no-filter, barefaced photo of Teigen to Instagram, and his caption will yet again make your heart melt.

The two are currently vacationing in the Mediterranean, and yesterday Legend snapped a shot of Teigen and commented, “No filter necessary.” The man’s not wrong; Teigen is giving off a rosy glow. I mean, that skin! The photo takes on added significance when you consider what’s been going down with the star lately: as an avid social media user, Teigen’s recently opened up about the stress the platforms bring, saying that Instagram often makes her feel “insanely inadequate.”

Add in discovering an entire online forum created to hate on her, and it’s admirable that Teigen has the grit to continue standing up to trolls and mommy-shamers alike. So, this makes yesterday’s peaceful Instagram all the more impressive.

Even with the naysayers, the two appreciate Teigen as is. No makeup, period zits and all.
