Meghan Markle's Affordable Club Monaco Coat Is On Sale Right Now

With Black Friday sales just around the corner, now is the perfect time to grab a fall coat or dress inspired by Meghan Markle. Markle must know we’re training a honed eye on her style at this time of year: For a surprise engagement on Wednesday (November 21), she wore another affordable item—this time from Club Monaco—and it happens to be on sale.

The Duchess of Sussex made an appearance in North Kensington wearing a burgundy coat with a coordinating dress from Club Monaco, and Givenchy ankle boots. Take a closer look at her outfit, below.

Markle was out and about for a surprise visit to the Hubb Community Kitchen, a women-run center which was started after the devastating Grenfell fire. Since becoming a duchess, Markle has become closely involved with the organization: Proceeds from her charity cookbook Together: Our Community Kitchen benefit the women’s efforts.

If you’re into Markle’s look, the Sallyet dress and Daylina coat are still available—and the coat is even on sale, marked down to $349 on Club Monaco’s website.

This isn’t the first time Markle has opted for affordable brands at her public appearances. Earlier this fall, she wore a hunter green blouse by & Other Stories for a visit to Edes House. Before that, she rang in her thirty-seventh birthday wearing a Club Monaco dress.

Even if Markle’s Club Monaco look sells out, there’s plenty of duchess-inspired pieces at J.Crew, & Other Stories, and Rothy’s that will be on sale this weekend. Get your credit card ready.

Meghan Markle Wore a Gorgeous Club Monaco Dress on Her Birthday—and It's Still in Stock

On Saturday, Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, celebrated her 37th birthday. It was quite the day, too: She took time from her own celebration to instead attend the wedding of Prince Harry’s good friend, Charlie van Straubenzee. While Prince Harry was reportedly performing his usher duties—returning the favor from his own wedding to Markle, for which van Straubenzee was an usher—she was attending as a guest, choosing to wear an incredible Club Monaco dress for the occasion. The best part? It’s still in stock.

Markle’s Shoanah shirtdress featured pink, green, black, and white color blocking on the delicately pleated skirt. According to People, Meghan accessorized her outfit with a fascinator by Philip Treacy, a pair of black pumps adorned with bows by Aquazzura, and a knotted belt and a clutch by Kayu Design.

It’s not the first time Markle’s worn Club Monaco: In January, she wore a mid-length burgundy velvet dress by the brand for the Queen’s private Christmas party.

Although this dress clocks in at $328—which isn’t by any means cheap—it’s way less than that famous $97,000 Ralph & Russo couture gown she wore for her engagement photos—or the $115,000 bespoke Givenchy wedding gown.

If you want in on Meghan’s royal style you better click over to Club Monaco’s site stat. After all, Meghan’s outfits tend to sell out quickly: In December, Meghan helped Strathberry, a luxury bag label, sell out one of its designs—its Tricolor Midi Tote—in less than 11 minutes.

Meghan Markle Wore a Club Monaco Dress to the Queen's Christmas Party—and It's Still in Stock

Sure, Meghan Markle has always been stylish; but now that she’s on the verge of becoming royalty, fans around the world are clamoring to get their hands on anything she wears with a bit more urgency—and that includes the dress she wore to the private Christmas celebration with the Queen. She may have preferred a $97,000 Ralph & Russo couture gown for her engagement photos, but for a gathering with the future-in-laws, Markle went to Club Monaco.

You may have missed it under that Sentaler coat, but Markle opted for a very low-key, off-the-rack dress for the holiday function at the Windsor family’s estate known as Sandringham House. The midi-length burgundy velvet style, dubbed the “Tay,” features tiered, ruffled short sleeves and a cinched-in belted waist that ties into a bow. The deep red hue and soft details made it an optimal fashion choice not only for the holidays but also for some face time with her majesty (who is well-known for her own stylish clothing choices).

Oh, and it’s still in stock: Markle’s Club Monaco dress is currently going for $239 (down from $298.) Sure, it’s still expensive, but not $97,000 couture expensive.

If you’re looking to grab a piece of royal fashion, do so as soon as possible. Otherwise, you could be left in the dust—Markle did help sell out this $670 in mere minutes, after all.
