Fans Are Convinced Miley Cyrus' Heartbreaking New Song Is About Liam Hemsworth


Miley Cyrus dropped her highly-anticipated EP She Is Coming on Friday, May 31, and there’s a lot to love about it. “Cattitude” featuring RuPaul is already my summer vibe; literally everyone can relate to “Unholy”; and “Mother’s Daughter” really is that bop.

But there’s one song on the EP that has the attention of Cyrus’ entire fandom: “The Most.” By far the chillest track of the bunch, the song shows Cyrus at her most vulnerable. “This winter was as cold as you and I/I know you’re home, hoping I’m alright/How many times have I left you in the deep?/I don’t know why you still believe in me,” she sings toward the song’s beginning. And the chorus is even more heartbreaking: “So why do I hurt you so? Is it ’cause I know?/Why do I hurt you so? Is it ’cause you love me the most?”

It’s a love song—and a sad one at that—which is why people are convinced the subject is Liam Hemsworth. Thematically, Cyrus tackles the concept of not understanding why a partner wants to be with her. “Even in my darkest days, even in my lowest place/You love me the most/And even when I can’t stay, even when I run away/You love me the most,” she sings. Whoever Cyrus is talking about, their love for her seems pretty unconditional—hence why, again, Twitter thinks the song is about her famous husband.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Were the Real Heroes at Last Night’s ‘Avengers’ Premiere


Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may not star in Avengers: Endgame, but they were the real heroes at the movie’s world premiere, which took place Monay night, April 22, in Hollywood. Amid a sea of stoic, smiling actors, Cyrus and Hemsworth were candid breaths of fresh air: They spent half their time on the red carpet goofing off, laughing, and—wait for it—licking each other.

But we’ll get to that later. First, let’s go through how Hemsworth and Cyrus started the night: in their car jamming out, decked out in formal wear. They basically were you and your date going to prom, just way fancier.

Cyrus posted a very cute video of this moment to her Instagram Story. As Hemsworth belts out a love song, she pans the camera to her and says, “He’s talking about me.” These two are so in love it’s bananas. To think all this happened because of a Nicholas Sparks movie adaptation that has a 20 percent on Rotten Tomatoes!

Their arrival to the actual Avengers red carpet was iconic. Cyrus stuck out her tongue. Hemsworth wore cool sunglasses. Rich people do the wackiest things.

At one point, Cyrus looked back at Hemsworth just to stare at him. Wouldn’t you do the same thing if you were married to Liam Hemsworth?

In my mind, Cyrus’ gesture, below, is code for “Yes, my husband is hot and my hair looks like Hannah Montana‘s. Try not to faint.”

I’m not quite sure what’s happening here. Either Hemsworth made a joke and Cyrus is trying to suppress her laugh. Or she’s thinking about how her Can’t Be Tamed album deserved better.

Here's How Liam Hemsworth Knew It Was Time to Propose to Miley Cyrus


Lately everyone is obsessed with Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth—and honestly, we can’t blame ’em. From the couple’s impromptu living room wedding in December to Miley’s adorable happy birthday love letter to Liam, it’s obvious that they’re full-on head over heels in love with each other. And during an interview with the Today show, published on Friday (but airing on Sunday), Hemsworth opened up about the moment he knew it was time to propose—again—to Cyrus.

“We’ve been through so much together over the last 10 years, so [I] felt like it was time,” he said in the interview. “I feel really happy and really fortunate to be with such a great person.”

But the couple we know and love to love almost didn’t happen—because they almost didn’t meet in the first place, Hemsworth said. He shared the crazy story of getting cast at the very last second for the movie adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ The Last Song, where he ultimately met and starred alongside Miley, who played rebel teenager Ronnie Miller.

The Australian native, whose three-month visa was expiring at the time, wasn’t originally cast for the part of Will Blakelee. But as fate would have it, it didn’t work out for the other actor. “My agent calls me like, whispering, like ‘You’ve got to go to Disney right now. It’s not working out with the other guy,” he said. “You’ve got to go in and read with Miley again’…I come in and everyone starts clapping like, ‘We should have gone with you first!'”

The now-newlyweds eventually fell hard for each other, just like their on-screen characters. I mean, just look at this clip Hemsworth posted on Friday.

“It’s sort of weird how it all comes together, and then 10 years later I’m here, married,” Hemsworth said.

Just further proof that fate is a very strange and wonderful thing.

Miley Cyrus kicked off her first Valentine’s Day married to Liam Hemsworth in the most Miley Cyrus way: by posting a hilarious meme.

The “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer took to Instagram Stories Wednesday night (February 13) and posted a throwback photo of herself from the Bangerz Tour with the caption, “When it’s Valentine’s Day and bae says hi.” She also tagged Hemsworth and wrote “Love u.” When you see the photo, you’ll instantly understand why it’s funny.

This isn’t the only racy message Miley Cyrus has sent Liam Hemsworth this week. On Monday, she attended the premiere of Hemsworth’s new movie Isn’t It Romantic by herself because he was sick, and she posted to Instagram, “Getting sick blows. But so do I. Get well soon babe. I love you.” Listen, everyone jumps out in February! It’s scientific fact.

Cyrus and Hemsworth tied the knot back in December, and they’ve made a few appearances together since then. Last month, they attended the G’Day USA Gala, where Hemsworth praised Cyrus while accepting the Excellence in Film Award. “Thank you to my beautiful wife,” he said. “You are a sweet, sweet angel.”

And just a few days before this, Cyrus wrote the sweetest note to Hemsworth for his birthday. “I love those little lines around your eyes when you laugh or look into the sun…. I love the way we speak in our own language. Sometimes with just a look,” she wrote on Instagram. “I love laying on the couch eating Chinese when we’re hung over from the night before. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have only been married for about a month, so much is probably still new to them—including, apparently, hearing the actual words “husband” and “wife” said out loud. This is exactly what happened at the G’Day USA Gala in Los Angeles over the weekend: Hemsworth was honored at the annual event with the Excellence In Film Award, and in his speech he called Cyrus his “beautiful wife.” Her reaction, naturally, was so sweet.

“Thank you to my beautiful wife,” Hemsworth says in the speech, which causes Cyrus’ jaw to literally drop and the audience to rupture in applause. Her shock then turns into a smile as Hemsworth continues singing her praises.

“You are a sweet, sweet angel,” he says. “Yeah, I love you! You’re great!”

Cyrus then jokes at Hemsworth to “keep going” with the compliments, causing the audience to crack up. “There’s more! There’s more about me,” she says.

“I’ll tell you later,” Hemsworth responds cheekily.Their banter is very on point!

Miley Cyrus Just Confirmed She and Liam Hemsworth are Married


In case your Instagram feed wasn’t already filled with enough engagement/wedding pictures, Miley Cyrus just added to the holiday nuptial frenzy: according to her latest Instagram posts, it sure looks like she and Liam Hemsworth really did get married this weekend.

This week, the pair set off the rumor mill when friends of the couple (who first got engaged in 2012, broke up, and then reunited in 2016) started posting photos from what looked suspiciously like an intimate wedding reception. There was a white dress. A tux. A cake. Champagne. Even “Mr.” and “Mrs.” balloons. But no word from the couple on whether they’d actually tied the knot or just had a peculiarly themed Christmas party.

Until now. This afternoon, Miley shared a lovely black and white photo of herself and Hemsworth clad in wedding attire in front of a floral altar with the caption “10 years later …..”

And if that wasn’t convincing enough, a second post shows Hemsworth wearing a wedding ring.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
