Cameron Diaz Gave a Rare Glimpse Into Her Home Life With Benji Madden and Their Daughter


Cameron Diaz is one of the most notoriously private celebrities—and that was true even before she and her husband, Benji Madden, announced the arrival of their daughter, Raddix Chloe Wildflower Madden, in early January.

But she recently popped onto Instagram Live with her friend, Who What Wear‘s Katherine Power, to talk about life as a new mom during quarantine. “I’ve kinda been living a quarantine life anyhow because I have a three-month-old, three-and-a-half month. So my life has been completely quiet and still for the last few months,” Diaz said, per Entertainment Tonight. “But I was able to have my friends over all the time. And now I just don’t see anybody.”

Nowadays, her routine sounds pretty relatable. “I’m either cooking, cleaning or taking care of my baby—and usually all at the same time,” Diaz said. “I have to cook at night. I know people hate cooking… I drink [wine] every night it’s my wind down for the day. After we do bath time with our baby and we put her to sleep, Benji puts her to bed, he’s so good. He’s such an amazing father. I’m so lucky he’s my baby’s father. He’s incredible. He puts her down and I go into the kitchen and I pour myself a nice glass of red wine. I start my cooking, I put on my show, whatever it is.”

While she may not be able to see other people right now or take Raddix out and about, Diaz isn’t complaining at all about motherhood. “I love being a mother. It’s the best, best, best part of my life,” she said. “I’m so grateful and so happy and it’s the best thing ever and I’m so lucky to do it with Benj and we’re having the best time. I’m thrilled. I can’t believe it.”

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden surprised the world in early January with the news of their daughter’s birth. “Happy New Year from the Maddens,” they wrote in an Instagram post. “We are so happy, blessed, and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden. She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family. While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little one’s privacy. So we won’t be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really really cute. Some would even say RAD.”

Kate Middleton's First Podcast Is a Rare Glimpse Into Her Life as a Mom


Kate Middleton sat down for her first-ever podcast on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum, Happy Baby, where she spoke candidly about motherhood, her own childhood, and the importance of early childhood development.

The unprecedented new interview details the Duchess of Cambridge’s life as a mom to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Princess Louis, as well as how her “amazing” grandmother inspired her hands-on parenting style. Middleton also said that there are specific aspects and experiences from her own upbringing that she hopes to pass on to her own children.

“One is quality of relationships,” she shared. “So, those moments that you spend with people that are around you. I remember that from my own childhood.”

The royal continued, “I had an amazing Granny who devoted a lot of time to us, playing with us, doing arts and crafts and going to the greenhouse to do gardening, and cooking with us, and I try and incorporate a lot of the experiences that she gave us at the time into the experiences that I give my children now.”

“There are also the environments you spend time in as well: a happy home, a safe environment,” she continued. “As children, we spent a lot of time outside and it’s something I’m really passionate about. I think it’s so great for physical and mental wellbeing and laying [developmental] foundations. It’s such a great environment to spend time in, building those quality relationships without the distractions of ‘I’ve got to cook’ and ‘I’ve got to do this’. And actually, it’s so simple.”

Middleton secretly recorded the podcast, which went live on Saturday, February 15, following a nursery visit in Stockwell, London on January 29.

Last month, she also launched the “Five Big Questions” survey, which was created to generate conversation surrounding the importance and long-term impact of a child’s early development.

“It’s going to take a long time—I’m talking about a generational change—but hopefully this is the first small step: to start a conversation around the importance of Early Childhood development,” Middleton told Fletcher. ” It’s not just about happy, healthy children. This is for lifelong consequences and outcomes.”

Here's Your First Glimpse of Lizzie McGuire and Ethan Craft on Screen Together


Hilary Duff and her old friends at Lizzie McGuire have been hard at work filming the beloved early aughts show’s reboot for the Disney Plus streaming platform.

But the actor/singer took some time out to meet up with Lizzie McGuire super fan Meghan Trainor to quiz her about some important facts about the show—and surprise her with everybody’s favorite crush, Ethan Craft. Well, actually the actor who played him, Clayton Snyder, but you know what we mean. He even brought out a plate of Ethan’s favorite dish: spaghetti.

“Meghan, Meghan, Meghan. I hope your day is proceeding with fineness,” he says in the video by Billboard. “And if it wasn’t, here’s a plate of the best food in the world, spaghetti.” To say Trainor was surprised and thrilled would be a massive understatement. “Oh my God. It’s Hot Ethan,” she says, blushing and clutching her backpack tightly. “You’re so handsome still. You guys aged so well. You look like Hercules!”

Trainor did pretty well for herself on the quiz, as she and Duff reminisced about The Lizzie McGuire Movie. Duff said she rewatched it recently with her 7-year-old son, Luca. “I actually watched it over the weekend with my son, because I hadn’t seen it since the premiere,” she said. “That was a very big portion of my life and I was like, ‘I’m good for a minute.’”

“[Luca] was in and out, but my future husband [Matthew Koma], he loved it the most,” she continued. “I was like, ‘You’re such a nerd!’”

While we don’t have an exact release date for the Lizzie McGuire reboot yet, we do know that it will pick up with Lizzie’s life as she’s living in Brooklyn and about to turn 30.

“She’s older, she’s wiser, she has a much bigger shoe budget, which is super exciting. She has her dream job. She has kind of the perfect life right now,” Duff has said.

Cardi B Just Shared the Very First Glimpse of Baby Kultur


When Cardi B walked onstage at last month’s VMAs with a tiny bundle in her arms, most of the world got excited: Was she about to give the audience their look at her newborn daughter Kultur? As it turns out, Cardi was just being Cardi—the whole thing was a gag to welcome audiences to the show, and she dashed our Kultur dreams by unwrapping the little pink blanket to reveal not a baby, but the show’s signature Moon Person statue.

Now, she’s teasing us yet again with a glimpse of Kultur—only this time it’s pretty adorable. Over the weekend, the rapper snapped a shot of her daughter’s tiny hands and posted the image with a caption that reads, “I needed a girl like you.” The tribute is a sweet gesture from the new mom who seems to be loving every minute of motherhood.

Since Kultur was born in July to Cardi B and her husband Offset, the rapper has already made it clear she’s planning to focus exclusively being a mom for a while. In July, she dropped out of her anticipated tour with Bruno Mars, patiently telling fans that she had “underestimated this whole mommy thing.” In addition to recovering from giving birth, Cardi explained on Instagram that she simply was “not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it’s not healthy for her to be on the road.” Since then, TMZ has reported that Cardi refuses to leave her daughter for less than $300,000 to perform—and even then, the location as to be just right to ensure she isn’t too far away from the baby.

Taking a little time off won’t hold Cardi back: At the VMAs, she hit back at critics who had told her that having a baby would ruin her career.

“A couple of months ago, a lot of people were saying, you know, ‘You are gambling your career. You about to have a baby, what are you doing?’” Cardi told the crowd. “You know, I had a baby, I carried a baby, and I am still winning awards!”

We may have to wait a little longer before we get to see a full picture of Kultur, but that’s fine with us if it means Cardi is living her best life with her daughter. After all, she has every right to keep her daughter’s privacy close—and we have no doubt Cardi is going to give the world some hilarious motherhood posts once Kultur gets a little older.
