Kris Jenner Has a Life-Size Wax Figure of Herself in Her House

Kris Jenner revealed the terrifying life-size wax figure of herself that’s on display in the living room of her Calabasas mansion.

In a series of videos posted to her Instagram Story on December 19, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star introduced the statue to her daughter Kim Kardashian during a dinner party with close friends Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.

“Omg what is that? That is so funny,” Kardashian can be heard saying in one clip. “Omg this is so crazy and real.”

The wax figure sits cross-legged on a chair in the corner of Jenner’s home bar wearing a black sequin Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo jacket, complete with a pair of pointy-toed heels and a diamond ring.

“It’s so you can visit with me and not have to listen to me talk to you,” the 64-year-old quipped.

In her own Instagram Story, Kardashian gave her followers a closer look at the lifelike figure.

“I literally knew I was coming up here, and I still got startled seeing this,” the reality star said. “You guys have no idea how real this looks. It’s insane.”

“It’s exact—down to the little mark she has,” Kardashian continued, pointing to a beauty mark on the wax figure’s chin. “Like, everything about it, you guys, this is her exact hairline. I can’t even tell you how creepy and amazing this is.”

She proceeded to stroke the her mom’s doppelgänger’s face just to show fans how realistic it looks.

It turns out, Kardashian wasn’t the only one that was taken back by Jenner’s wax twin; Teigen also couldn’t believe her eyes. As seen in another video, the Cravings cookbook author was completely fascinated by the figure.

“Okay, Chrissy is obsessed with me, truly,” Jenner joked. “She’s staring at it like it’s me, but it’s not even me.”

“Does it have nipples?” Teigen asked as her husband can be heard chuckling in the background.

The famous momager later revealed she got statue directly from the Hollywood Wax Museum—and according to People, there’s one just like it at Madame Tussaud’s in New York City.

Demi Lovato Shut Down a Reporter for Writing a Headline About Her ‘Fuller Figure’

Listen up, haters, Demi Lovato and her “fuller figure” are speaking. After seeing a story in the Inquisitr with a headline about her “fuller figure,” Lovato took to her Instagram Story to call out the outlet for finding her body shape newsworthy: “I AM MORE THAN MY WEIGHT,” she wrote.

In her post Lovato—who has been open about her history with eating disorders—explained that “unlike the past,” the headline about her body didn’t necessarily trigger her. Instead, her issue with the article was that this publication, and the reporter behind the story, thought it was OK to be writing about her size at all. “I’m angry that people think it’s OK to write headlines about people’s body shapes,” she wrote. “Especially about a woman who has been so open about being in recovery from an eating disorder. I am not upset for myself but for anyone easily influenced by this diet culture.”

She goes on to call out “toxic” stories like this. “Too many people today base their ideal body weight off of what OTHERS tell us we should look like or weigh. Articles like this only contribute to that toxic way of thinking,” she wrote. “If you’re reading this: Don’t listen to negative diet culture talk. You are more than a number on a scale. And I am more than a headline about my body shape.”

But here’s where this story gets really awesome. The writer actually responded to Lovato and apologized to her personally, according to a screenshot of their conversation that she posted on Instagram. “You’re an incredible talent and you’re right, your body is not all you are,” the writer said. “This is a lesson learnt.”

The Inquisitr left the post—and the problematic headline—live in the interest of “transparency,” but added an author’s note. “Firstly, a sincere ‘Thank you’ to Demi Lovato for her grace and patience in our exchange,” it reads. “While I wrote this story with the best of intentions, I totally appreciate and understand her perspective on the matter and culture in general, and I truly appreciate her taking the time to have a dialogue with me about it. As Demi said to me, ‘Our voices are all we have to create the biggest change on this planet.'”

Lovato lives that message. The singer has an impressive history of using her voice to speak out about weight shaming, whether it has to do with her body or not. Earlier this year the artist responded to a horrifying fat-shaming ad on Instagram promoting a game involving “obese” vs. “pretty” princesses. “This is absolutely harmful to anyone who is easily influenced by societal pressures put on us by diet culture to constantly be losing weight in a world that teaches us to equate our value and worth with the way we look and especially anyone in recovery from an eating disorder,” she wrote in January. “So please Instagram, keep this bullsh*t off mine and others’ feeds who could easily be affected by this disgusting advertisement. With how aware people are becoming of mental health and mental illnesses, I expect you guys to know better by allowing this advertisement to be allowed on your app. And shame on the game.”

As Lovato put it in her post, “Change is made by raising your voice, speaking your truth, and spreading love and compassion, not hate.”

Meghan Markle's New Wax Figure Actually Looks Like Her

Taking a selfie with Meghan Markle just got a whole lot easier. The Telegraph reports that Madame Tussauds London unveiled a wax figure of the soon-to-be duchess this week, and for once, the figurine actually does its subject justice.

The wax-figure Markle wears the same forest green P.A.R.O.S.H. dress the real one wore while announcing her engagement back in November. Her dark hair is styled in the Suits actress’ usual middle-part and waves, and she wears a spot-on replica of the engagement ring that Prince Harry designed for her. Unlike countless other, slightly-off wax figures before hers, Markle’s doesn’t look creepy or vacant.

According to The Telegraph, Markle’s replica will be available for public viewing beginning May 18, the day before she and Prince Harry tie the knot at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. She’ll be placed next to Prince Harry’s own wax figure, which is reportedly getting something of a revamp in honor of his upcoming nuptials. And get this: All Madame Tussauds guests named Meghan or Harry will score free admission to the museum on May 19, the day of the royal wedding.

Melania Trump's Wax Figure Is Here and, Well, It's Really Something

Regardless of your opinion of Melania Trump, there’s one thing everyone seems to agree on: Her new wax figure is really something. On Wednesday, Madame Tussauds in New York City unveiled the first lady’s lookalike, in honor of her 48th birthday on Thursday. Considering President Donald Trump told Fox & Friends Thursday he was too busy to get his wife anything besides a card this year, it’s nice to know she received something to commemorate the event. Whether that “something” is a good or bad thing, though, seems to be up for debate.

Some members of the Twittersphere commented online that the wax figure is a dead ringer for the FLOTUS, while others say it looks literally nothing like her. All things considered, the jokes about Melania’s wax double were almost too easy to make, and the wax versions of the first couple — Melania’s now stands right next to her husband’s in the museum’s “Oval Office” — have gotten straight-up roasted since the fake First Lady was unveiled.

Aside from whether or not the figure looks like Melania, there’s something else that’s a bit odd about it: Per Cosmo, the statue is going to be able to speak, giving us serious flashbacks to animatronic Donald Trump’s reviled debut at Disney World’s “Hall of Presidents.”

Throughout the month of May, people can tweet with the hashtag #MTMelaniaMoments for the chance to have their words read aloud by the FLOTUS. It’s part of an initiative called “Give Melania a Voice” (which you can interpret as you see fit.) To provide you insight into how that hashtag is coming along, many of the suggestions on Instagram include “help,” “save me,” and “get me out of here.”

Former Press Secretary Sean Spicer was on hand at the wax figure unveiling, and he had some kind words for the first lady. “We’re opening this thing as a tribute to the first lady, and the first lady’s done such a fantastic job of showcasing our country,” Spicer said at the debut, according to People. “And I thought, what a fine tribute to such a great woman who is doing such phenomenal work on behalf of our country.”
