Here's What Is Next for Bachelor in Paradise's Newly Engaged Jenna Cooper and Jordan Kimball


Caution: Bachelor in Paradise finale spoilers ahead.

Jordan Kimball and Jenna Cooper may provide Bachelor in Paradise with lots of comedic relief (see: the time Jordan threw a giant stuffed animal into the ocean, but their love is the real deal. “I’ve just never seen anything like them before,” Kenny King told Glamour after the finale taping. “The minute Jenna walked into Paradise, it was just over for Jordan.” Even Grocery Store Joe Amabile sees them going the distance and getting married by next summer. Or, as he puts it, “Jordan’s a go-getter.”

While Paradise wasn’t always easy for Cooper, a 29-year-old fitness model/social media manager, and Kimball, a 26-year-old pensive gentleman, the two are happy their journey was documented. “It’s nice to watch it back and know we’re always going to have that,” Jordan tells Glamour. Adds Jenna, “We get to relive [falling in love]. And to see it working in real life, I just love it. It makes me so happy.”

So what is life going to be like now that the couple can go out in public together? And are they serious about getting married next summer in Paradise? After the finale, we caught up with the pair. Read on.

Congratulations! How did you know you this was your person?

Jordan Kimball: Just meeting her was so powerful. As soon as I saw her, I knew that I was never going to be the same. [To Jenna] I’ll always care about you, I’ll always love you unconditionally. This just brought us so close, and I don’t picture it without you.

Jenna Cooper: I can’t imagine living without you now. His fearless, stubborn pursuit of me made me feel like, OK, if we can get through Paradise and what I put you through, then we can get through anything. And I want to.

But Jenna, he put you through stuff, too!

Jordan: True. I put the whole community through things.

Jenna: Yeah, you did! But I feel like we’re not just going to get through things in life, we’re going to thrive as a couple. Personally, I think you bring out the best in me, and I bring out the best in you.

On tonight’s finale, you said you want to get married June 9th next year, which is usually when Paradise is filming. So you want to get married on the show then, correct?

Jenna: Yes, in the environment where we fell in love. I can’t imagine it somewhere else.

Jordan: Yes. We owe it to them. They brought us together. To have everyone back is like another reunion, and they got to witness us fall in love. It’s such a beautiful place to bring all of our family there. I can’t think of a more fun environment.

At one point before you got engaged, Jenna, Jordan said he didn’t know if he was ready. Does seeing and hearing some of these moments for the first time affect you?

Jordan: Absolutely. You don’t know what to expect. You don’t really understand what’s going on until you watch it back. I remember we did our fantasy suite, and I woke up the next morning and thought, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I thought [Jenna] was wonderful and then on the ride back [to the resort], I immediately got into the Suburban and knew at that moment. It just synced up. I was like, “OK, I’m going to do this!”

Jenna: I didn’t expect it, but I knew I was going to say yes—whenever he asked me, whether it was then or a year from now.

Jordan: She had a lot to say to me in the time building up to me getting down on one knee. She [talked] a lot. I was impressed. Usually you don’t talk that much. Not about love.

Jenna: That’s because I’ve met my match when it comes to talking. I just let you take the reins sometimes. I thought you’d appreciate that.

Jordan: Thanks, thanks.

You two have talked a lot about being parents. Is that really in the near future?

Jordan: There’s a lot of talk about that. But I think we’re at least a year out.

Jenna: Yeah, agreed.

What’s next for you both?

Jordan: I’m still on the same career path that I’ve been in. I actually have a shoot in a few days with Wilhelmina in Miami. She’s doing the same thing she’s been doing. We’re trying to let each other grow separately so we can help support our wants and everything. But while we’re doing that, we’re fueling the growth for us together, and…

Jenna: I like it that way. I’m pretty independent.

Jordan: We’ve [talked about me] moving from Florida. I’ve been traveling a lot, so I find myself not in Florida very much recently. It’s a good time to start a new chapter. Fall is coming up. Strike some romance there and keep falling for you. And yeah, we’re talking places and location. It’s not something you just sit down and decide. We’re going to figure it out and when we do, it’s going to be rock solid.

*Riverdale*'s Hart Denton on the 'Darkness' That Bonds Chic and Betty Cooper


Last we saw Chic Cooper, he was hovering over newfound sister Betty as she slept, freaking out anyone with a pulse—or at least an obsession with Riverdale. In tonight’s episode, we’ll finally find out why he decided to break into her bedroom and watch her (though, is any excuse going to be good enough?).

“You can’t pin Chic just yet,” Hart Denton (who plays Chic) tells Glamour. “You have to understand this is a strange and foreign situation for him to be in, but you’ll ultimately enjoy watching him the most if you are slow to judge. Trust me.” (Side note: That’s some Cheryl Blossom-level confidence right there.)

From what we know, Chic is involved in the “fantasy fulfillment” business, and it has nothing to do with helping folks gain access to Disney’s Club 33. “I was told he makes his living via webcam and that he didn’t care who was on the other side of the screen,” Denton says. “He was going to survive at whatever cost.” In tonight’s episode, the Cooper clan will not only find out more about how Chic has financially supported himself all these years, but just how detrimental it’s been to his emotional health.

In the exclusive clip below, Chic tells Betty that he has “a pretty good collection of scars” he can show her (OK, ew), and they both realize they cope with their anxiety by digging their nails into the palms of their hands. “It’s bonding,” Denton points out. “Betty and Chic share the same blood, inside and out. She has darkness, he has darkness. Confiding in one another makes this strange utopian transition just a bit easier for Chic. She’s never had that scapegoat to confide in. She does now.”

As for the bigger picture, Denton hopes that exploring Betty and Chic’s anxiety can help anyone struggling with the same difficulties. “Anxiety is heartbreaking,” he says. “It deprives people of the best versions of themselves. We all experience it on different levels but certain people experience it in ways others will never understand.”

Except, of course, for Betty. Still, Denton says that Chic’s world expands a little more every episode, and certain connections to other Riverdale characters will begin to surface. “I was so surprised, so I can only imagine how [shocked] the fans are going to be,” Denton teases.

Lili Reinhart on Season Two of 'Riverdale': There's Challenging Times Ahead for Betty Cooper


Riverdale‘s mid-season finale left more questions than answers, especially now that we know Svenson may not be the Black Hood after all. Lili Reinhart told us the situation is far from being resolved, and she has every reason to believe the murderer is still at large. “Things don’t feel right…like, there’s still some deep, dark, unspoken mystery going on,” she explains.

And if the Black Hood mystery isn’t enough to deal with, there’s plenty of other drama brewing in Riverdale. Betty and Jughead—and Archie and Veronica—are still in relationship limbo, Josie has a stalker, Cheryl’s obsessed, and who knows what’s up with the Lodges. There’s also the upcoming birth of Polly’s baby and the arrival of Betty’s brother, Chic.

When the show returns on January 17, the good news is that there won’t be much of a time jump. “It’s just after Christmas break,” Reinhart says. “It’s not two months or anything like that. It’s just two weeks [that have passed].” The arrival of Betty’s brother will also bring the topic of Betty’s mental health back into conversation. “You definitely see that a lot more in the second half of the season,” Reinhart says. “When Betty digs her nails into her hands, it’s kind of when things are happening with her family. That’s her trigger, whether it be her mother, her brother, or Polly. I think that’s something to keep in mind.” Also, with the introduction of her brother, “she’s very curious to see if he has that darkness inside him as well. There might be some sister/brother bonding over mental health issues.”

That darkness isn’t just internal, either. Reinhart doesn’t say whether Betty will don her black wig again, but her makeup does get little darker and her overall look will be “a little more made up.”

And if Betty didn’t have enough going on in her life, it looks like her friendship with Veronica will also be put in jeopardy. “I think that concept is challenged in the second half,” she says. While one would think it’s because Veronica might find out that Archie and Betty kissed, Reinhart indicates that it goes way beyond that. “Not to give too much away, but I think there is definitely challenges to come in Betty and Veronica’s friendship, and it’s a result of their parents, to be honest,” she says. “It’s like, how do they navigate their friendship with the parents that they have? And if their parents are at war, does that mean the kids are at war? That becomes very, very heavy in the latter half. The concept of Betty and Veronica putting each other first does become challenged.”
