Victoria's Secret Will Feature Its First Size-14 Model in New Collab With Bluebella

On Friday, October 4, Victoria’s Secret launched a partnership with London-based lingerie company Bluebella—and for the first time in VS history, the brand will feature a size-14 woman in its campaign. The model, Ali Tate Cutler, says she hopes her involvement will pave the way for other plus-sized models in the future.

Bluebella is also known for its campaigns that feature and celebrate diversity in an effort to promote inclusivity.

The new collab with VS also comes after transgender model Munroe Bergdorf starred in Bluebella’s 2019 lingerie campaign, Love Yourself, before publicly criticizing Victoria’s Secret for its refusal to use trans models on the runway.

You might recall that in 2018, during an interview with Vogue, Ed Razek, former chief marketing officer of Victoria’s Secret parent company L Brands, made controversial comments regarding transgender and plus-size models. At the time, he said didn’t think the annual fashion shows should feature “transsexuals” because “the show is a fantasy.”

The company has since made attempts to re-brand itself given the public’s demand for better representation.

It seems they may have found that in Cutler, who told E! how “surreal” it is to represent women who want to wear beautiful lingerie every day.

“I never expected that I was going to see an image of myself on the wall next to these top supermodels that I have been looking up to since I was a little girl,” she told the outlet. “It feels amazing, I feel on top of the world.”

“I feel like they are headed in the right direction and they are listening to their audience who have requested to see more women of diverse shapes and sizes,” she continued. “I think if they continue to head in that direction they will be on to a jackpot because that is reflective of what the average woman is in America.”

H&M x Moschino Is the Newest Designer Collab You're Definitely Going to Want in On

PSA: H&M is about to give us the designer collaboration of our dreams.

On Saturday, Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott announced that the storied fashion label was planning a collaboration with the highly popular Swedish retailer, due out online and in stores on November 8. According to Vogue, prices will range from $25 to $300. And there’s plenty to be had: The women’s collection will be around 45 pieces—plus a ton of accessories.

Scott, who made the surprise announcement at Moschino’s annual Coachella party, is widely known for his playful aesthetic that brings a distinguishable edge to the legendary Italian fashion house into his designs—primarily through his frequent incorporation of consumer icons like Barbie, My Little Pony, Hershey, and McDonald’s.

Here’s the first look at the upcoming collection—both Gigi Hadid (right) and Scott (left) are wearing pieces from it in this picture from the Moschino party.

“I am so excited about MOSCHINO [tv] H&M,” Scott said in a statement. “My life’s work has been to connect with people through fashion, and with this collaboration I’ll be able to reach more of my fans than I’ve ever had the ability to do.”

Here’s a glimpse of what showgoers typically see on a Scott runway—and backstage:

According to Scott, however, this is what we can expect from the H&M collaboration: “There’s a silver sequined parka dress,” Scott told Vogue. “Denim pieces are all twisted into something else. Puffers and jackets are reconfigured into cropped things or double-long things. There’s a sportswear-with-evening kind of feeling, like a hockey jersey with a train.”

Scott’s designs are bold and unconventional—and likely also the reason for the star-studded audiences at the Moschino runway shows, with famous faces like Paris Hilton, Cindy Crawford, and Katy Perry frequently in attendance.

“MOSCHINO [tv] H&M is the perfect collaboration for fashion right now, mixing together pop, street culture, logos and also glamour,” said H&M creative adviser Ann-Sofie Johansson in a statement. “Jeremy Scott is amazing—he knows how to have fun with fashion, and to connect with his fans around the world.”

“This collaboration makes me feel like I’m able to give something again,” Scott told Vogue. “Lots of young people love my clothes . . . and we make phone cases and little things like that, but in order to have a lewk, I love that this is now something that will be affordable.”

For 14 years, H&M has been producing highly-anticipated collections with various designers, beginning in 2004 with Karl Lagerfeld. Ever since, fashion fans have anticipated the news of H&M’s latest designer collaboration. With Scott’s name going hand-in-hand with statement-making creative work—plus the collab’s affordable prices—we can’t wait to see how this one turns out.

Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian Might Be Teaming Up for a Kylie Cosmetics Collab

Clearly, Kylie Jenner likes to keep it all in the family: She’s already teamed up with her older sisters Kim and Khloé Kardashian on Kylie Cosmetics collections, and with Kendall Jenner on multiple fashion lines. The only sister she hasn’t worked with is Kourtney Kardashian, but if eagle-eyed fans’ suspicions are correct, a Kylie x Kourtney collab could already be in the works.

As Stylecaster first reported, Twitter user LaRonda Mangum spotted what appears to be a clue as to which sister will team up with Kylie next in last Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. On Monday, LaRonda tweeted a photo of a random shot from the episode in which four Kylie Lip Kit tubes sit on a table next to another lip gloss container clearly emblazoned with Kourtney’s name. “What is this future blessing that I see in the background?!? Another collab featuring @kourtneykardash in @kyliecosmetics by @KylieJenner perhaps?!” she captioned the pic.

The “Kourtney” lip gloss tube definitely seems like a major hint that the oldest and youngest members of the Kardashian-Jenner family are teaming up on yet another one of Kylie’s makeup collections. But since the family is notoriously good at keeping secrets, it could be a while before we see the new collab. For reference, Kylie and Khloé’s multi-part Koko collection consists of a few gorgeous pink lip kits packaged in shiny gold tubes and a rosy cheek palette, while Kylie and Kim’s KKW by Kylie Cosmetics collection comprised four all-purpose nude lip kits. No matter what products it includes and what shades they come in, Kylie and Kourtney’s collab is sure to sell out in minutes.
