Watch Princess Charlotte Tell Photographers They're 'Not Coming' to Her Brother's Christening

Yesterday the royal family—minus the queen and Prince Philip, who had other commitments—turned up to celebrate the christening of Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s youngest son, Prince Louis. And while it was certainly the royal baby’s special day, it was his three-year-old big sister, Princess Charlotte, who really stole the show.

Charlotte, the fourth in line to the throne behind her grandfather, dad, and brother Prince George, has already made the world collectively aww on more than one occasion with her penchant for waving at big events like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding or on the Buckingham Palace balcony during Trooping the Colour. She even gave a friendly hello to photographers gathered outside the hospital as she arrived to meet Prince Louis for the first time:

But yesterday, July 9, she wasn’t so keen on the reporters and photographers documenting her brother’s christening. As Princess Charlotte left the chapel with her parents, she was overheard telling them, “You’re not coming.” (The family was headed back home for a private tea with their guests.)

That’s some serious toddler sass—and we are here for it. We also love that sly smile that Prince William gives his daughter after her comments indicating this isn’t the first time Charlotte’s spoken her mind.

And who can blame her? It must be incredibly odd for a young child to have every public outing your family takes surrounded by a throng of people with cameras. Hell, it’s probably still pretty crazy for her Aunt Meghan too—and she’s 36. So just keep doing you, Charlotte. I think you’ll be just fine.

Ann Curry Says She’s 'Not Surprised' About Matt Lauer Allegations

During a highly anticipated interview with CBS This Morning, veteran journalist Ann Curry said she wasn’t surprised by allegations of sexual misconduct that brought down her former Today co-host Matt Lauer. In fact, Curry added that she felt most of her female colleagues understood that a “climate of verbal harassment” existed at NBC, where she worked until 2015

On Wednesday, Curry sat down with CBS This Morning to promote her PBS docuseries, We’ll Meet Again. The conversation inevitably turned to her disgraced former co-host, and Curry was asked if she believed Lauer abused his power at NBC.

“I’m trying to do no harm in this conversations,” Curry said. “I can tell you that I’m not surprised by the allegations.”

When CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King pushed her about what her comments meant, Curry was evasive, but she explained, “I’m walking down that road I’m trying not to hurt people. I know what it’s like to be publicly humiliated, I never did anything wrong to be publicly humiliated, and I don’t want to cause that pain to someone else.”

Still, Curry was willing to speak out against a pervasive culture of harassment that she says she observed at NBC, saying, “I would be surprised if many women did not understand that there was a climate of verbal harassment that existed. I think it would be surprising if someone said they didn’t see that. It was verbal sexual harassment.”

Curry added that the effect #MeToo has had exposing sexual misconduct is long overdue, and said she hopes people focus on supporting women who have bravely come forward with so many disturbing allegations.

“We’re talking about the scandal, the scandal, scandal. What about the victims? What are we going to do to remove the stigma and the shame? What are we going to do to make sure these women work and are not sidelined and prevented from contributing to the greater good that we all are trying to do?” she said.

Curry left the Today show in 2012, following rumors that she’d a contentious relationship with Lauer and that he had been behind her ouster. Speculation intensified when NBC aired Curry’s tearful goodbye to Today viewers; in the clip, Curry visibly flinches after Lauer kisses her cheek.

Curry continued working at NBC until starting her own production company in 2015. Lauer, meanwhile, was fired from NBC last November after colleagues accused him of sexual harassment. He’d been the Today show’s anchor for more than 20 years.

Selena Gomez's Mom Says She's 'Not Happy' Her Daughter Is Dating Justin Bieber Again

In recent weeks, rumors regarding the newly rekindled romance between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been flying—particularly those speculating that the relationship between the on-again, off-again couple has been causing mounting problems between the star and her mother, Mandy Teefey. (Take, for example, reports that Gomez’s family didn’t invite Bieber to Christmas.)

But in a recent interview with Gossip Cop, Teefey shut down tabloid speculation that her daughter’s romance with Bieber has been causing a seismic rift between the mother-daughter duo. “Every mother and daughter has disagreements,” the producer—who worked alongside Gomez on the hit 2017 Netflix series 13 Reasons Why—told the outlet.

Teefey went on to explain that perceptions of her relationship with her daughter have been significantly skewed by gossip columns over the years—especially with respect to those that have cited either Gomez’s relationship with Bieber, or the fact that Teefey no longer professionally manages Gomez’s career, as the root cause for familial issues. Explained the Hollywood producer: “I do not control her the way it has been portrayed.”

But even though she denounced the fact that her daughter’s romance with Bieber was causing any particular issues at home, Teefey did take the conversation as an opportunity to voice her feelings on the relationship.

She says that while “Selena is an adult [who] can make her own choices,” she admittedly was “not happy” about the couple’s latest reunion. Although she’s ultimately not in favor of the relationship, Teefey does acknowledge that her daughter’s happiness is paramount. “Selena can live her life however she wants,” Teefey said, “as long as she is happy, safe, and healthy.”
