Hailey Baldwin Is Now Hailey Bieber—and Has the Jacket to Prove It


It’s not official until you embroider your married name onto a piece of clothing. Fine, that’s definitely not how it works—but before Hailey Baldwin quietly announced she’d changed her name to Hailey Bieber, she made a reference to her husband, Justin Bieber, via her clothing.

The model attended the opening for Levi’s new flagship in New York on Thursday evening. (Emily Ratajkowski, Joan Smalls, Barbara Palvin, Dylan Sprouse, and Ansel Elgort were also in attendance—so, you know, casual weeknight outing.) It appears she took advantage of the store’s customization options, leaving the party with a new denim jacket emblazoned with “BIEBER” across the back.

Levi’s managed to get a picture of on its Instagram Story that evening as Baldwinr left the event. Check out it.

The next day, the 21-year-old would change her Instagram handle from @haileybaldwin to @haileybieber, as well as how her name appears on her account, seemingly confirming that she and the singer had officially tied the knot—after Bieber referred to her as “my wife” in a separate Instagram post. Ah, these two.

Hailey Baldwin Just Made Her Marriage to Justin Bieber Instagram-Official


Hailey Baldwin sure had an eventful Friday.

First, Justin Bieber made their marriage Insta-official by referring to her as “my wife” in a caption, before proceeding to leave a mildly NSFW comment on one of her posts (“U turn me on”). Then, there was some silly drama around her following a Selena Gomez fan account.

But the biggest event of the day? She officially changed her Instagram handle to @HaileyBieber, subtly confirming her marriage to the pop star. There’s nary a “Baldwin” to be found on her page, which now lists her full name as Hailey Rhode Bieber.

The couple’s engagement went public in July when Bieber confirmed the news on Instagram. “Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast,” the singer wrote on July 9. “Listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY. I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make.”

The mystery of the Baldwin-Bieber nuptials has been going strong since September when Baldwin and Bieber were spotted at a New York City courthouse and received a marriage license. But then it turned out they had actually gotten married at the courthouse—with a more traditional wedding for family and friends still to come.

“The city hall marriage was her idea. It was ‘you and me against the world,’” a source said at the time. “Let’s show [everyone] we’re serious and it’s not just some crazy fling.”

Fans on social media got very excited at the news of the Insta name change. “SHE CHANGED HER NAME TO HAILEY BIEBER IF YOU THINK MY HEART JUST BROKE INTO A THOUSAND PIECES YOU’RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT OMFG,” one wrote.

Hailey Baldwin Is Having Drama With a Selena Gomez Fan Account Right Now


Something is going on right now with Hailey Baldwin and a Selena Gomez fan account, and I need answers. Not since, “Was Taylor Swift in that suitcase?” has a mystery shaken me up this much. Come to think of it, this is even more severe than that. In fact, I’m certain “Hailey Baldwin vs. Random Selena Gomez Account” will soon be known as one of our culture’s most elusive events. OK, so here’s what went down: Sleuthy teens on the Internet noticed that Baldwin, who’s now married to Gomez’s ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, followed a Selena Gomez fan account on Instagram called “House of Sel.” She then unfollowed the page, which led some people to believe she didn’t mean to do it in the first place. That’s pretty standard, boring Instagram behavior. I mean, how many of us have accidentally followed someone we were Insta-stalking?

Why Baldwin was on this account in the first place is still a mystery. According to the person who runs “House of Sel,” several Gomez fans accused Baldwin of “Insta-stalking” the singer because of this move, but that’s a stretch. Maybe the account popped up randomly on her home page. Maybe Baldwin secretly loves “Hands to Myself” and wanted to chat with other stans. Who knows! Either way, the follow probably wasn’t malicious.

Things get interesting, though, because Baldwin actually DMed the runner of the account to apologize for accidentally following. “Hey followed [you] by accident so sorry,” Baldwin wrote

The account head then apologized to Baldwin for throwing shade at her relationship with Bieber. “I guess it wasn’t nice of me to share my opinions on [a] relationship and people I don’t know,” they wrote. “Also I don’t and never had any hate towards [you]. Hope [you] get it.”

“It’s OK, I get it,” Baldwin replied with a smiley face. Yes, this is all real. Baldwin literally messaged back and forth with the runner of a Selena Gomez fan account because she accidentally followed it.

I’m confused! Mystified! Bewildered! Baldwin probably wanted to stop any negativity online before it started, which is admirable. That being said, it’s still funny to picture her freaking out because she accidentally followed “House of Sel.” The drama of it all!

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin aren’t shy about their love for each other. They routinely post couple pics on Instagram, make out in parks all over New York City, and leave comments on one another’s social platforms. Bieber took the couple’s PDA up a notch, though, with a little comment he posted on Baldwin’s most recent Instagram photo.

“Back again as the face of @nicolebenisti wearing my favorite coat,” Baldwin posted to Instagram on Friday (November 16) alongside a photo of herself modeling for Nicole Benisti. We can’t include the pic here—but we can show you the rather…passionate string of comments Bieber left underneath.

“Ur just too much,” he wrote at first, which is totally PG and fine. But here’s what he followed that up with: “U turn me on.” Tell us how you really feel, Biebs.

Bieber’s, erm, enthusiasm for Baldwin shouldn’t come as a surprise. He recently changed the caption of one of his Instagram photos featuring her from just a heart emoji to, “My wife is awesome.” He also posted an incredibly long tribute to Baldwin in July when he confirmed their engagement.

“You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else,” he wrote. “You make me so much better and we compliment each other so well. Can’t wait for the best season of life yet. It’s funny because now with you everything seems to make sense! The thing I am most excited for is that my little brother and sister get to see another healthy stable marriage and look for the same. God’s timing really is literally perfect.”

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have exactly three days until their reported marriage license will expire, and whether they’re still hitched yet or running out the clock (perhaps they’re getting married at this moment; who knows with these two?), we don’t know. But one thing’s for sure: They seem completely in love.

He’s serenaded her in front of Buckingham Palace. They’ve done the whole cute ice cream date thing. They’ve cried, in public, together, so much—a true sign of being emotionally vulnerable with your partner.

Now, he has unleashed his nickname for her into this world, and it’s a thing. It was revealed as the caption on an ~ arty ~ black-and-white photo of the two of them making out: “Hunny buns punkin.”

This would not fly in any relationship I’m in, mostly due to Bieber’s atrocious spelling (it literally takes the same amount of keystrokes to spell “honey” correctly, but I’ll get over it). However, I am not in this relationship, nor am I receiving texts from Bieber, so all I can do now is offer a congratulations to these two for finding love in this dark world and also keep you informed if there does happen to be a wedding going down as we speak. Details are beginning to emerge about Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s surprise New York City wedding. According to People, it was Baldwin’s idea to have a quick ceremony at a courthouse over the summer.

“Hailey is a very bright girl. She’s not just blindly adoring Justin and doing whatever he wants,” a source close to Bieber told the magazine. “She’s wanted to be with Justin for a very long time.” While Bieber and Baldwin will reportedly have a more traditional ceremony for family and friends some time down the road, the source explained that Baldwin wanted to get married as soon as possible to solidify them “as a team,” and to prove to any skeptics that they’re the real deal.

“The city hall marriage was her idea. It was ‘you and me against the world,’” the source added. “Let’s show [everyone] we’re serious and it’s not just some crazy fling.”

The new report is in stark contrast to a previous report suggesting that Bieber and Baldwin had a shotgun wedding just because they wanted to get all the “legal stuff” out of the way. “It was more of a necessary ceremony to make it legal,” a source told People in September. “It doesn’t seem like it was a big deal to them.” Baldwin previously tried to downplay the wedding in a since-deleted tweet. “I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I’m not married yet!” Baldwin tweeted. According to a source, Baldwin needs a religious element for the wedding to feel official.

But it kind of was a big deal, because Baldwin has officially trademarked the name “Hailey Bieber,” People reports. According to The Blast, Baldwin filed the trademark for a potential clothing line. She also opened up about her husband in a recent interview with Harper’s BAZAAR. “He is incredible,” she said of Bieber. “He crushes everything. Every song, every feature. It’s crazy to see what he does. I’m always blown away.”
