Princess Charlotte and Prince George Stole the Show at Princess Eugenie's Royal Wedding

The second royal wedding of the year is officially underway. Yes, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank tied the knot at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Friday, October 12 in front of a hodgepodge of celebrity guests, like Cara Delevingne, Ellie Goulding, and Naomi Campbell. The royal family was also in attendance, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle—who said “I do” at St. George’s Chapel back in May—plus Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George, a.k.a the true stars of the day.

Seriously, these kids stole the show at Princess Eugenie’s wedding. Prince George was a pageboy during the ceremony, while Princess Charlotte was a bridesmaid, and they took their duties very seriously (read: adorably). The photos of the two of them at the wedding will explain this better than I ever could, so go ahead and check them out, below:

Here it is in GIF form, which will no-doubt become a reaction meme by 2 P.M. today.

Entertainment Tonight posted a video of all the bridesmaids and pageboys entering the service. Look how excited Princess Charlotte and Prince George are!

I wonder why Prince George was so shocked in this pic? What tea does he have to spill?

Princess Eugenie looked absolutely stunning at her wedding, wearing a Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos gown. The dress featured a V-neck back, which Princess Eugenie wanted to wear to show the scars from her childhood scoliosis operation. “I’m patron of [the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Appeal] and I had an operation when I was 12 on my back,” she told ITV. “[The dress is] a lovely way to honor the people who looked after me and a way of standing up for young people who also go through this.”

Here's Why Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Might Miss Some of Princess Eugenie's Wedding

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s royal wedding will no doubt have more than its fair share of famous attendees, but there are a few members of the royal family who may not be sticking around to celebrate.

According to Marie Claire, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly may have to leave the festivities early in order to prepare for their upcoming trip to Australia. While the duke and duchess will likely be present at the ceremony (and no doubt feeling some serious nostalgia, considering it’s happening in the same location where their own royal wedding took place back in May), they may skip out on the reception on Friday night (October 12) and subsequent wedding weekend celebrations to allow enough time to get ready to head Down Under.

Markle and Prince Harry aren’t the only ones who may have to miss out on some of Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s big day. Due to his health, Prince Philip (Princess Eugenie’s grandfather, who underwent massive hip surgery earlier this year) may decide to sit this one out.

“The Duke of Edinburgh may not go to the wedding, just as he and the Queen did not attend Prince Louis’s christening in July,” a source told The Telegraph as to why the royal patriarch may not make it to the event. “There’s not a three-line whip on these family occasions. Not unreasonably, when you consider his age, the Duke of Edinburgh will decide on the morning of the wedding if he’s going to be there. He now very much operates on a ‘wake up and see how I feel’ basis.”

Princess Eugenie’s step-aunt, Camilla Parker-Bowles, was also previously reported to have RSVP’d “no” to the wedding. She’s set to visit school children in Scotland on the same day.

Thankfully, the Clooneys—plus Prince George and Princess Charlotte—will be there, so there will still be plenty of well-dressed guests worth Insta-stalking on the day of the wedding.
