When Solange briefly deleted her Twitter account this summer, it was a blow. Thankfully though, it was just a short-lived break from the public eye—and if anyone knows how to make a re-entrance, it’s Solange. Switching things up, the singer opted for long, platinum braids at a Fashion Week performance, following it with a short halo of curls posted to her Insta a few days later.

Two is not a trend, but it’s a sign that Kardashian loves to keep her look fresh for Fashion Week. She pulled a similar change for the winter shows last year, and we can’t blame her for the seasonal craving. Most people prep for fall with, you know, boots and sweaters—but with hair this incredible, she’s making the case for a silver switch up.

In the mildest possible sense of the word, there’s been some controversy over this So You Think You Can Dance look. Seeing it as Game of Thrones fans, it’s clearly an ode to Daenerys Targaryen’s white-blond hair. And yet, per Hudgens’ makeup artist, Allan Aveñdano, they had an Atomic Blonde aesthetic in mind. As we said: the mildest possible controversy, because her platinum is jaw-dropping regardless.

We can’t get enough of Lewis’ curls, and her warm platinum color is the icing on top. And just pragmatically, for those of us at home, layers will conceal any breakage (xoxo, bleach).
