Ever wonder how other people manage to get their flawless—okay, and maybe not so flawless—makeup on in the morning? We did, too. Enter Glamour‘s new beauty series, which we’re kicking off with a look at how women do a cat-eye. (Don’t worry, none of them are makeup artists.) We asked 50 women, including a few first-timers, to give it their best shot with a liquid eyeliner. There are tears—though to be fair, these are more due to accidental pokes in the eye than anything else—as well as laughter and, of course, tons of the inevitable eye makeup remover. Plus, a few helpful tips and creative thinking from the women along the way may be all you need to create your own cat-eye like a pro. Watch the video above, then grab your favorite eyeliner, find somewhere to sturdy your arm, and maybe schedule some plans for tonight.
