Kate Spade Sale: Best Wallets, Handbags and Dresses To Buy

One of the buzziest moments at New York Fashion Week last September wasn’t the launch of a new brand or celebrity-stacked front row. Rather, it was the arrival of a new era at Kate Spade New York. Nicola Glass presented her first collection as the brand’s creative director, following Deborah Lloyd’s beloved, decade-long tenure. Her Spring 2019 offering—with colorful, ’70s-inspired dresses and prints and plenty of statement-ready handbags—left the fashion crowd buzzing. Flash-forward to February, when the industry reconvened for yet another Fashion Week and and Glass’ designs became available to shop, Kate Spade New York was spotted all over the front rows and in street style.

There’s extra incentive to pick up a piece from the brand’s revival right now: Every single item from Kate Spade New York’s Spring 2019 collection is 30 percent off, as part of a site-wide sale through March 3. (Previous markdowns are also fair-game in this sale, FYI.) Given how the fashion crowd has responded to Glass’ designs, don’t be surprised if some of these sell out quick. (Another reason to shop? Two percent of net sales from this sale will be donated to Kate Spade New York’s non-profit partner, the Tides Foundation.) So, if there was ever a time to press “Check Out” on a pair of platform sandals or spade-lock bag, this is it.

Make the new Kate Spade New York yours with our picks from the brand’s Spring 2019 sale, below.

Cyber Week Is Coming to Target, and Our Wallets Are Ready for It

It’s a well-known phenomenon in the world of retail that you walk into Target for a toothbrush and then, an hour later, walk out with a tube of Burt’s Bees, some Pixi lip balm, a new throw pillow, a pair of knee-high boots—and the toothbrush. This week, however, our bank accounts will be much happier with us, thanks to one of Target’s biggest sales yet this year: Instead of just giving us one day of shopping glory on Cyber Monday, the retailer is doing sales all week long. Behold, Cyber Week.

Sure, Target just got done basically gifting us with Black Friday deals, but this is a whole thing coming up. The week kicks off with Target offering 15 percent off its entire site on Monday. But the deals don’t stop when the clock strikes midnight on Tuesday—or Wednesday or Thursday or even the day after that. Target’s continuing the digital sale party every single day this week—but every day will see a different department get discounted.

Here’s the daily breakdown:

Monday, November 27: 15 percent off site-wide on Target.com.

Tuesday, November 28: 40 percent off bath and bedding.

Wednesday, November 29: Spend $30, save $10 on beauty and cosmetics.

Thursday, November 30: 30 percent off boots and outerwear.

Friday, December 1: Electronics go on sale.

Saturday, December 2: 30 percent off furniture and rugs.

With this kind of sale situation, it’s a great time to get started on those holiday gifts (and pick up a few for yourself).

Of course, Target isn’t the only retailer offering great Cyber Monday deals—although admittedly, Cyber Week is a pretty great concept. A ton of other websites have Cyber Monday deals and promotions happening, too—Ann Taylor, for example, is offering 50 percent off all day, and BaubleBar has some of their collections up to 35 percent off November 26-28. Ready to outline your shopping strategy? Check out all the other Cyber Monday deals we’ve rounded up right over here.
