Chrissy Teigen Just Fangirled Hard Over Meeting Alicia Silverstone

Chrissy Teigen doesn’t really seem like the type to get starstruck: On social media, she comes off as super chill (unless she’s gushing about adorable Luna). But even someone as famous as she is isn’t immune to totally buggin’, as a recent moment with Alicia Silverstone proved. The actress, who starred as Cher Horowitz in a li’l ’90s movie called Clueless that you have most definitely heard of, met Teigen recently, and photo proof posted by a sleepless Teigen early Sunday morning is pretty much as close as we’ll ever come to seeing her freak out.

Even her caption on the photo, which was posted on Twitter, undermines the level of fangirling that was going on: “How am I supposed to sleep? I think I’ve asked for 2 photos in my entire life. @AliciaSilv and beyonce.” Which, wow, that’s a lot of restraint—but I guess when you’re Teigen, it’s completely normal to casually hang out with A-listers.

What makes the whole thing way more amazing is that Silverstone was dressed in her Cher outfit from Clueless. You know the one: the yellow plaid pleated miniskirt and blazer, topped off by white knee socks and white Mary Janes. It was a ’90s cultural icon come to life joining forces with a ’10s social media mogul—and we are so here for this meeting of the decades. Also Luna! Hi, Luna! Your cheeks are adorable.

So why the Cher costume? It turns out that Silverstone was taping an upcoming episode of Lip Sync Battle. Will she sing “Fancy,” Iggy Azela’s 2014 classic that recreated Clueless in its music video? Or maybe “Rollin’ With the Homies?” Who knows, but one thing’s for sure: This was definitely one of 2017’s greatest pop culture moments.

Meghan Markle Reportedly Had Her First Meeting With the Queen

Ever since news broke last fall that Suits actress Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are dating, their relationship has been meticulously documented. When they went Christmas tree shopping together in December, the photos were everywhere. Reports that Prince Harry proposed to Markle in August sent Twitter into a tailspin. Markle’s tell-all interview with Vanity Fair, where she revealed she and Prince Harry are “really happy and in love,” still has people swooning. Everyone is obsessed with this couple.

So it’s no surprise that Markle’s alleged first meeting with Prince Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, has the Internet abuzz right now. Us Weekly reports Markle met Queen Elizabeth for the first time on September 3 in Scotland. “Harry decided to take Meghan to visit as he hadn’t been up yet all summer…He wanted to introduce Meghan to the queen,” a source told the magazine.

That introduction reportedly took place in Balmoral Castle, the queen’s summer home, which is only a few miles away from the royals’ 53,000-acre estate called Birkhall. The meeting “went well,” according to the source and will “no doubt be the first of many encounters.”

What the queen and Markle chatted about—if the two actually did meet—is still a mystery. What are the chances that the queen is a major Suits fan and pumped Markle for spoilers?

“The entire weekend was a success,” the source told Us Weekly. “He was able to introduce someone he loves to someone he cares for deeply.”

So are wedding bells next up for Markle and Prince Harry? Nothing’s been confirmed yet, but rumors have been swirling around for weeks. If there’s this much excitement around the possibility of these two getting engaged, imagine what will happen when (and if) it’s officially announced. We’re not ready.
