Coming to Netflix August 2018: 90 Titles You Should Add to Your Queue ASAP

We can always count on Netflix to add a slew of new TV shows and movies for streaming each month. It’s a constant presence, just like death and taxes and Chris Harrison. Next month is extra special, though, because the streaming service is dropping even more original series and films than usual. Of the 90 new titles arriving starting August 1, over half—47, to be exact—are Netflix originals.

That includes the much-anticipated second season of Ozark and the admittedly less-anticipated premiere of Insatiable. However, we recommend checking out The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, two films that fit with Netflix’s recent efforts to make the romantic comedy cool again.

See the full list of titles coming to Netflix, below. PS: Catch these movies and shows before they leave next month.

5 Unexpected Denim Trends to Try ASAP

Denim is pretty much the closest thing you have to a wardrobe BFF: It’s dependable, and it never makes you feel like you need to force it. There’s rarely a situation where a solid pair of jeans won’t do the job—from casual weekends in baggy T-shirts to more put-together scenarios with button-up blouses and tailored jackets. Designers go back to denim, incorporating it into their collections season after season (and not just in ready-to-wear: Sonia Rykiel recently showed jeans as part of its first-ever couture show).

With its versatility and pretty much universal fan base, it’s easy to think of denim only as a neutral, a foundation for trendier, bolder pieces to stand out. But then you’d be missing out on all the statement-making opportunities brands are presenting you with for the summer, many of which would make your jeans the hallmark of an outfit. Whether it’s a side stripe or an eye-grabbing colorful wash, here are five major trends that’ll bring your denim game all the way up.
