Of Course Prince George and Princess Charlotte Were Adorable at Kate Middleton and Prince William's Sailing Race
The Cambridge family has officially returned from vacation (reportedly in Mustique) and is back to royal duties across the pond.
Kate Middleton and Prince William brought along their two oldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, for their engagement today—and it looks like the whole family was having lots of fun. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are competing with each other in the inaugural King’s Cup Regatta, a sailing race to benefit some of their patronages, including Child Bereavement UK and the Early Years program from the couple’s Royal Foundation.
“Their Royal Highnesses hope that The King’s Cup will become an annual event, bringing greater awareness to the wider benefits of sport, whilst also raising support and funds for the causes that The Duke and Duchess support,” a caption on their official Instagram explains.
Bonus: We get to see their royal highnesses looking casual in shorts—and another magnificent ponytail on Middleton.
But it’s the little royals who really stole the show. George and Charlotte were spotted on another boat with their grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton, cheering on their mom and dad. George was especially nautical in a captain’s hat. And it looks like he’s lost another front tooth since the birthday photos his parents released when he turned six.
