'A Star Is Born' Merch Is Here, and Goodbye Money
If you flocked to the movie theaters to watch A Star Is Born this weekend—or, heck, just watched the trailers on loop hundreds of times—and found yourself craving a little merch to show your fandom, you’re not alone. Maybe we should be content with the just-dropped full soundtrack, which people went crazy for, but, well, we still wanted more. Twitter has been asking for merch for a while now. As Doreen St. Félix over at The New Yorker tweeted exactly a month ago, “it seems like if ever a film should have merch, a star is born is it.”
Well, St. Félix—and the rest of us—got a huge present this weekend from Lady Gaga herself: She tweeted on Sunday that merch was in stock on the movie’s website. And, yep, you might as well kiss whatever’s left of your paycheck goodbye.
For the dangerously justifiable price of $35, you can get your choice of an Ally T-shirt (cream) or Jackson T-shirt (black) plus a digital copy of the A Star Is Born soundtrack (unless you live outside of the U.S., where said download will not work). Both the Ally and Jackson T-shirts come in small to 2X.

Unfortunately, the wait time on the tees is four to five weeks, so it’ll be a hot moment before they arrive. In the meantime, though you can busy yourself by heading back to the theaters to take in this greatness a couple more times, or read this excellent piece by my colleague Chris Rosa about how the movie is challenging toxic male egos, which somehow seems incredibly timely.
