11 Games for Kids to Play so You Don’t Go Stir Crazy

School’s out indefinitely, and entertaining my daughters (ages 1.5 and 3.5) between my own WFH schedule is at the top of my priority list. We don’t just need a few games for kids to play on a rainy day—we need solutions to help us practice social distancing for weeks. At this point, my family has run nearly every avenue dry. We’ve spent the last six days wreaking havoc on every room in the house and blasting through every toy, book, and activity that was part of our normal stock of entertainment.

As parents, many of us are juggling our fears regarding health, coupled with the logistics of how you spend all this time with your kids indoors, and (a lot of us) with no additional childcare to help. Schools support families in endless ways and provided a great schedule for mine to live our lives by. Right now, I’m doing my best to keep my girls’ routines in place—and also my sanity in check. So in an effort to make the next few weeks a little easier, here are some easy indoor games for kids to play, along with activity ideas that only need a product or two to do. Bonus: You may even have some of these supplies already handy to hold you over for the time being. Bring on the exhaustion.
