Here’s Lady Gaga Living Her Best Life on a Boat for Your Viewing Pleasure
Lady Gaga knows how to make an entrance. She’s been doing it for 10 years. There was the time when she showed up to the 2011 Grammys inside a literal vessel. Or how about the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, when she arrived on the carpet with discharged soldiers to make a statement about Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell? Red carpets and events aren’t just shallow opportunities for Mother Monster: They’re chances to say something—loudly.
So it’s no surprise she arrived to the 2018 Venice Film Festival on Thursday (August 30) hanging on the side of a boat. No, really: the pop icon made her entrance to annual celebration—which she’s attending to promote her film, A Star Is Born—wearing a short black dress, her hair done up, and a single red rose as her accessory. An outfit that chic calls for an equally-as-chic mode of transportation. Enter this mahogany speedboat, which Gaga sat on like the Queen greeting commoners during Trooping of the Colour. Gaga waved, blew kisses, and basked in the sun as the boat zipped all over the water. The photos, naturally are really something. Peep 10 of them, below:
