Tarte Cosmetics' 25 Percent Off Sale: The Best Beauty Deals to Score

The dog days of summer are here, which means outside of blasting the AC, there’s not much more to look forward to from now until Labor Day—except shopping. Following in the tradition of July being a sleeper month to score big deals (see: Prime Day and Nordstrom’s still-going anniversary sale), Tarte is making up for any signs of summer slump with a beauty blowout. From now until August 3, every single item (with the exception of its cult favorite Shape Tape Concealer) is 25 percent off on Tarte’s website. (Tarte Rewards members even save an additional 10 percent.) It’s the perfect excuse to restock on faves like Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush or pick up a new treat like the Rainforest of the Sea Highlighting Eyeshadow Palette.

All you need before diving in is the promo code “BESTIES” to enter at checkout. We also thought you might also want a little guidance navigating the massive, glittering, unicorn-themed warehouse that is Tarte’s website. Ahead, a few Glamour-approved picks to add to cart.

This Tarte Blush Has 8,000 Rave Reviews—and It's on Sale Right Now

Give me your foam conditioner, your jiggly masks, your life-changing moisturizer from the depths of Amazon. I love a beauty gimmick. But between all the newness that rolls in waves across my desk, blush is one of the hardest things for me to get excited about. Especially because I’ve already found my be-all, end-all: Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Exposed, a cult favorite that at least 8,000 people agree is pretty great.

In case you’re not one of the people already obsessed, the best way to describe Exposed is like the “my lips, but better” of blush. Like when you find the perfect slightly darker, subtly enhancing lipstick that matches your lips but takes them up a notch, Exposed has the same effect. Online, it doesn’t look like the star it is. But read through the blush’s 4,923 sterling reviews on Sephora’s website, 1,001 reviews on Ulta’s, and 2,552 on Tarte’s, and it gets pretty clear that this blush is not to be underestimated.

Other than how natural the shades look, the reviews’ common thread is the blush’s durability. The wear-time makes sense, given the formula (and the name). Tarte writes that it infuses the blush with natural clay, which tones down your skin’s oil and keeps the color in place. The 14 shades come in workhorse options, most falling into variations of nude, pink, peach, and rose. And the clay formula has an added benefit: Blissful, another often-reviewed color, looks like an intimidatingly bright pink in the pan. But thanks to the clay’s consistency, your brush picks up just enough, and it steers clear of clownish.

Still, Exposed remains my favorite. The barely rose nude makes you look as if you just came in from the cold, but in a more “model in a wintry Tiffany’s ad” way than reality. And now that Tarte’s blush is on sale for 20 percent off at Dermstore for two more days, you can bet I’m stocking up.
