Prince William Is Reportedly 'Worried' About Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
According to a new report from BBC, Prince William is “worried” about his brother, [Prince Harry],(https://www.glamour.com/about/prince-harry) and sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, following their revealing documentary, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, which aired on ITV Sunday night (October 20).
In the documentary, which follows Markle and Prince Harry’s recent royal tour of southern Africa, the couple opens up about the tabloid scrutiny they’ve experienced over the past year. (It’s gotten so out of hand that they’ve taken legal action against a few outlets.)
“Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable,” Markle says in the documentary about how the incessant media attention has affected her mental health. “So that was made really challenging. And then when you have a newborn, you know? And especially as a woman, it’s really, it’s a lot. So if you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed, it’s um…. Yeah, well, I guess, and also thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay. But it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”
It’s soundbites like this that allegedly have Prince William concerned. The BBC specifically reports the Duke of Cambridge is hoping his little brother and Markle “are all right.” A palace source also says there is view that Meghan and Harry are “in a fragile place.”
Prince Harry talked in the doc briefly about the rumors he and Prince William are feuding. “Inevitably stuff happens. But we’re brothers; we’ll always be brothers,” he said. “We’re certainly on different paths at the moment. I’ll always be there for him and as I know, he’ll always be there for me. We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy, but I love him dearly. The majority of [the press] is created out of nothing.”
Harry & Meghan: An African Journey will air in the U.S. this Wednesday, October 23, at 10 P.M. ET on ABC.
