Not a Drill: TJMaxx Just Launched a Wedding Shop

TJMaxx is going into a new category that will change the way we plan for one of the most special but hard-to-shop-for moments in our lives: Yup, the affordable retailer launched its first-ever wedding shop.

TJMaxx’s foray into bridal includes everything from wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride dresses, and décor. Plus, the apparel comes in a range of sizes (including plus), colors, and styles, with the prices still in line with the retailer’s discounted standard—so, really, it’s the greatest wedding gift that you can’t register for.

In terms of brand options, TJMaxx stocks gowns from designers including Nouvelle Amsale, Jovani, Fame and Partners, and more; and footwear from the likes of Valentino, Jimmy Choo, Badgley Mischka, Giuseppe Zanotti, and Halston Heritage. If you’re in the wedding party, you can find a bridesmaid dress that somehow fits into the designated color scheme/theme from labels such as Vera Wang, Amsale, Donna Morgan, Adrianna Papell, and Carmen Marc Valvo’s infusion line.

Although couples aren’t able to register at TJMaxx (at least for the time being—fingers crossed!), the wedding gift and décor sections include tons of incredible items you’d actually want to receive: We’re talking coffee machines, tea kettles, adorable pillows, and even wedding cards. The retailer continues to come through with solving all of your shopping problems without breaking the bank—and, given how pricey wedding planning can be, we’re very much here for this new addition to TJMaxx’s roster.
