Here's What You Need to Know About Paris Texas, the Shoe Brand Everyone Was Wearing at Fashion Week

A new “It” shoe has been crowned on the streets of Fashion Week—but it’s already been in the closets of Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Emily Ratajkowski for some time.

Despite what its name might suggest, Paris Texas is a footwear brand based in Milan, Italy. It was founded in 2015 by sisters Annamaria and Margherita Brivio. According to Annamaria, their goal was to make shoes that felt incredibly fashion-forward, would last for years, but didn’t feel like an unattainable investment. (All styles—even boots—are priced under $650.)

The moment that propelled Paris Texas to Instagram fame was in 2018, when Ratajkowski first wore a pair of its signature knee-high leather boots. “That certainly caught the eye of the press,” says Margherita. “She wore them around the same time as Eva Chen, which also had a great effect on our brand.” In both instances, the boots immediately sold out.

These Paris Texas boots—which come in faux-croc, blue snakeskin, and other prints—are clearly the fan favorite. Chiara Ferragni also wore them last year and, during the most recent Fashion Week, they were spotted on Aimee Song, Jessica Wang, and Candice Swanepoel, in a range of colorways.

Paris Texas has started dabbling in cowboy boots, too, spotted on a handful of editors and show-goers. Though boots are the brand’s most Instagrammed offering, it also has an assortment of glittery block heels and backless satin mules with crystal-embellished buckles. The easy-to-style shoes can be worn with everything, from denim to evening wear—so expect to see some of your favorite style stars wearing them once it starts getting warmer.

Ahead, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite Paris Texas shoes, should you want to copy the Fashion Week look.
