Seeing Gigi Hadid on the cover of a fashion magazine isn’t exactly surprising, but her latest shoot can definitely be characterized as… memorable.

The 23-year-old model fronts Love magazine’s 10th anniversary issue. Though, you wouldn’t know it if it weren’t for the cover line identifying Hadid as the model underneath what’s perhaps the most terrifying bunny mask ever. Donnie Darko could never.

“The golden hare in the golden hour,” wrote Love alongside an Instagram photo revealing its latest cover star. “@gigihadid as you’ve never seen her before.” (You’ve got that right, Love.)

Hadid is photographed in a pink dress, her long hair in waves… and a teeth-baring bunny face that is made to feel that much creepier thanks to the adorable puppy by her side.

In a second Love cover, Gigi’s face actually makes an appearance, with a Quailman-style belt-as-headband set of (far less terrifying) bunny ears.

“BUNNY LOVE ?? Played dress-up for @thelovemagazine’s 10th birthday cover ?????☁️,” Hadid captioned a photo of the cover on her Instagram account.

This isn’t the first time Hadid has made headlines for her work with Love: In 2016, she appeared in the magazine’s iconic “Advent Calender” wearing a fishnet bikini; in 2017, she celebrated the same series by showing off her boxing and volleyball skills. Whatever your feelings on this particular shoot, you know that whenever the model links up with Love, the result certainly won’t be boring.
