Your Horoscope for the Week of September 30, 2019

Marie Kondo any wishy-washy beliefs and thoughts collecting dust in your mind.  A clear conscience supports an open path to love so it’s time to purge for mind and body health. Look your inner fear in the eye and take back control by accepting yourself for who you are. You’re probably your harshest critic after all. Remember everyone else is otherwise occupied chasing their own thought tails. If that doesn’t work, do as a nervous high-schooler might and picture your detractors naked. Read on to discover what’s in store for your rising sign during the week of September 30 through to October 6, 2019, and double down by getting to know your rising sign.

Aries | Aries rising

This week, your ruling planet Mars changes signs into harmony loving Libra, in your zone of relationships. You prefer to act directly, with haste yet you’re going to have to keep your engine cool and peace out over this period. Make like John Lennon and Yoko Ono and make love, (or art) not war. Reparations may not be your thing but this month, it’s worth taking the longer road to partnership bliss by allowing your significant other to take the lead. This month overall is about stepping into your polarity and trying it on for size. Consider the other party before making a move and be sure it’s an equal ‘we’ rather than too much ‘me’. Mercury moves into your sexy zone so fire up your bedside manner, and expect to discover a few provocative secrets. This is a great chance to get to know your partner, or a close friend much more deeply. It’s time to do some sleuthing, no question is too provocative. Shake the figurative bush and see what flys out!

Taurus | Taurus rising

With action planet Mars moving into your work zone this week it’s time to put your recent ideas to the test. Step away from the drawing board and build dear Taurus. If you’ve teamed up with an able collaborator, make sure you both put in equal effort. Balance what is possible to actually achieve, with the pressure to transform or reach a large audience. You’re ever-practical so rather than give up from overwhelm just do what you can and that’s enough.  Take one step at a time. As Mercury moves into your relationship zone you’ll be extra chatty, make the most of it by peeling off as many layers as possible and getting down into the core of things in terms of relationships. In health, you’ll need to work off some excess steam. If you haven’t already, it’s time to get active. Under this transit, it’s helpful to team up with a buddy to keep you both accountable to your routine on the daily.

It’s a big week for TV shows. First, we have the 2019 Emmys on Sunday, so tune in to see which of your favorite series win big. Then, we have a stacked line-up of new and returning shows—from This Is Us to The Masked Singer—to enjoy as the week continues. Throw in a buzzy potential Oscar contender dropping on Friday, and you have quite the exciting entertainment slate. Plan accordingly.

Below, all the TV shows and movies to earmark for this week.

The 2019 Emmy Awards: No one is hosting tonight’s show, so the focus will be on the stars themselves and which TV shows take home the gold. 8 P.M. ET on Fox

The Voice: Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Blake Shelton are back for another season of spinning chairs and vocal powerhouses. 8 P.M. ET on NBC

All Rise: A new court procedural from CBS that takes viewers inside the hectic, chaotic world of judges. 9 P.M. ET on CBS

Emergence: Glamour‘s west coast editor Jessica Radloff had nothing but great things to say about this show in our recent fall TV preview. “Confession: I didn’t expect to like Emergence,” she wrote. “But now that I’ve watched it, I can’t wait for more. The thriller will remind you of Stranger Things, especially when a mysterious young girl shows up out of nowhere with no name or memory.” 10 P.M. ET on ABC

This Is Us: Season three left us with some intense cliffhangers (namely, what is going on with Rebecca’s health in the distant future?). Knowing how showrunner Dan Fogelman works, season four will be filled with twists and turns before delivering a finale that gives us satisfying answers—and, naturally, more questions. 9 P.M. ET on NBC

Modern Family: The final season of this hilarious, groundbreaking comedy kicks off tonight. Fingers crossed Sarah Hyland’s fiancé, Wells Adams, makes an appearance. 9 P.M. ET on ABC

Weekly horoscope for September 23, 2019

Hello, Libra season! This week, put yourself in the path of beauty as Venus the goddess of love presides over this sign and Saturday’s new moon. Think: art galleries, scenic gardens, or beautifully-made clothing topped off by bubbles (whether from kombucha or Champagne is up to you!) Relationships catch the spotlight so before you tie your wagon to someone else’s, read the synopsis of their story, because they’ll be co-writing yours. Do you amplify each other, are you heading toward the same sunset? Libra season is as much about saying no thanks as saying yes please. Be sure to weigh all sides. Read on to discover what’s in store for your sign during the week of September 23 through to September 29, 2019, and double down by getting to know your rising sign.

Aries | Aries rising

While you easily demonstrate the you-do-you policy, the sun has stepped into your opposite sign, calling attention to significant otherness. Your relationship zone is lit this season, so lift your gaze from the trail you’re blazing and focus on one-on-ones. Foster the side of your life that involves someone important. Whether it’s a romantic partner or prospect, a biz partnership, a family connection, or any other kind of equal relationship, be sure the emphasis is on the equal. You like beauty and charm, and could do with a little sweeping off your feet. This week, take a close look at exactly what you’d like to let go of in your current relationship: i.e., beliefs or behaviors that aren’t authentically serving your heart. Visualise what you’d like, and how that looks and feels. Write out your intentions and meditate on them with an open heart.

This month spotlights your daily environment at work, which is great because you’re a pragmatic sign that loves to shoulder the wheel and gains great satisfaction from traction. Make the most of the new moon by considering the relationships you have at work, how you’d like them to flow. Perhaps a dynamic duo to share the load? Call in your ultimate day-at-work vision. The new moon is also about daily routine and a commitment to work/life balance. This week, focus on healthy food–organic and as fresh as possible, if you can. Make a ritual out of your daily routine. Do something every day that beautifies and harmonizes your space. Check in daily for 1:1 time with a friend or colleague that makes you feel seen and heard. It’s not always about going deep and meaningful, it’s about adding some genuine pleasure to your day.

Your Horoscope for the Week of September 16, 2019

Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom or an aspiring boss, it’s time to move forward with course corrections made over the past few months and apply in whatever practical way you can. Own the expertise gained through time and life experience and step into your authority. Remember it’s the grit, hustle, and grind that polishes your rough edges and ideas into a gleaming gem. Read on to discover what’s in store for your rising sign during the week of September 16 through to September 22, 2019, and double down by getting to know your rising sign.

Aries | Aries rising

Aries, the world has an appetite for what you’ve got yet there’s been some back and forth on your career front: just when you get some traction progress stalls. Blame has been an internal trial, and probably an external one with a few blocks and dropouts to test your dedication and resolve. How much do you want it? How hard are you willing to work? Come to terms with exactly what you want to build, the reality of what you’re prepared to do, and who you’re prepared to become. Reality pales in comparison to an idealistic vision, yet manifesting your dream into reality demands working within certain limits; cut and dice when necessary. It’s time to move forward now. This is your contribution to the world, so make it happen by igniting your natural enthusiasm and run with the ball through to mission accomplished.

Taurus | Taurus rising

Your star is ascending and you’re the next train out of the station in terms of success. What you do over the next few years will set you up for a career peak. The point now is to expand your horizons and reach. Working with established and professional channels work well for you, and you’ll probably be drawn to travel for your career. So funnel resources accordingly this week. Opportunities may find you whether you seek them or not, however, make the most of it by planning ahead. Set up meetings, take up leads and make the contacts. If you can show up and shake hands in person, even better. Remember, this is about expansion. Saturday’s last quarter moon is in Gemini, suggesting you pin down your spending and clean up any subscriptions or other unnecessary drains on your account.

Gemini | Gemini rising

This week’s headliner has a career focus. You currently possess the luck of the Irish as the saying goes, with the proverbial pot of gold firmly planted in the hands of someone else. Yes, opportunities are bought to you by others this year so reach out and make connections. You have the gift of gab so usher in any collabs that will be mutually beneficial. In terms of drawing on the resources of others, this is where you may be tripping up. All those lucky breaks and burgeoning partnerships may not be translating into recruiter requests, Insta followers, or other aspects of biz. While this is frustrating, the point is that only the most authentic will make the cut.
