15 Best Drugstore Beauty Products at Walmart 2018

As much as we love Sephora and Ulta, there’s a much less-thought-about spot to find great beauty products—and it’s one you probably visit on the reg. While no one was looking, Walmart’s beauty aisle got really, really good-looking. We’re not just talking standard drugstore basics: Thanks to some new partnerships, the discount store has become a place to grab hair and makeup exclusives. Online, it’s also become something of a beauty mecca, thanks to its new offerings of indie brands and hard to find K-beauty favorites. Ahead, 15 beauty buys—from seriously effective skin care to organic bath and body goodness—you didn’t know you could buy at Walmart.

The Best New Drugstore Beauty Products for 2018

The drugstore has always been there for lip balm and an extra eyeliner to keep on hand, but it used to be that if you wanted serious color pay-off and skin care that made a difference, you had to hoard your gift cards and head into the beauty boutiques. Over the past few years, though, the drugstore’s turned into the beauty place to be—and not just when the TSA loses your luggage and you have to do a speedy makeup sweep. Last year saw beauty brands debut matte liquid lipsticks that stood up to the best, and now that quality is coming to releases across the board (seriously, every brand is launching top-notch brow products and face masks). But not everyone has an hour to watch YouTube reviews while standing in aisle three, so we asked our resident beauty obsessives to narrow down the best of 2018’s new releases. Here’s what’s made a permanent home in our bags and top shelves.

Best Eyebrow Products: From Pencils to Gels and Tools

Brows have been the center of beauty attention for a few years now (thank Cara Delevingne), and with that obsession has come an absurd amount of eyebrow products. It’s no longer just about threading or waxing—or microblading, but that’s a whole other thing—now we’ve got shelves of options to consider. What makes finding the best eyebrow pencil even more tricky are all the personal factors at play. Everything from your skin type to how badly you over-plucked back in the day (thank the nineties) can have an effect on which powder or pomade works best. So we turned it over to our staffers to find out exactly which brow products they’re using for their specific concerns. Here are the glowing recommendations we got back.

25 Top-Selling Beauty Products on Amazon in 2017

Shopping on Amazon can either be really seamless or hella frustrating. Generally, it’s easier to head to the site with a list in mind, rather than sifting through hundreds of pages and even more reviews. The retailer’s beauty section, however, is a much different story. Few reviews are as detailed and helpful—which makes the brand’s high-low mix of luxury, drugstore, and indie products rife for discovery. It also makes narrowing down what’s worth trying incredibly easy. When thousands of Amazon shoppers all agree on those five stars, you know it’s good stuff. Such is the case for these 25 Amazon beauty finds—all top-sellers for 2017. Scroll on down to see how many you already have, and of course, how many more you need.

Joy to the world, gift card season has come—and with it, endless possibilities. Now’s the time to stock up on beauty essentials and splurge on everything you balk at dropping “real” money on. We’re not saying gift cards aren’t legal tender, but you’re not spending $50 on a mini face oil, someone you love is gifting you a $50 mini face oil, you know? Here’s a great place to start: We asked 13 Glamour editors exactly what they’d buy at Sephora with $100. Ulta Beauty's Best-Selling Beauty Products of 2017

You could argue there’s never a bad time to shop for makeup, but really, the end of the year has got to be the best. Not only do products that rarely go on sale finally get prices slashed, there’s also the best-seller lists to look forward to. Given that Ulta Beauty was the most Googled beauty brand in 2017, you can trust its breakdown really is representative of the year’s most popular products. As its sales have proved, overall it was a big year for makeup: Benefit’s Roller Lash is still widely beloved; yeah, Anastastia’s Glow Kits are that good; and MAC coming to Ulta this year was definitely well received. Perhaps most surprising, though, is that not a single item is a repeat from last year’s best-seller list.
