Black Friday 2018: The Best In-Store Deals We Know About So Far

Attention, Black Friday shoppers: Black Friday 2018 is just days away. You’ll find us sleeping off a turkey hangover in the earliest hours of Black Fridayno offense, 5 a.m.—but if you’re the type to fight the masses for ALL the Black Friday savings, you have plenty of stores to choose from. Here’s where to shop the best in-store-only Black Friday 2018 deals:

A.C. More: Shopping for a DIY-lover? A.C. Moore has $5, five-hour-only deals starting at 5 a.m. on Friday. (Check ahead of time to confirm that time applies to your location.)

Best Buy: Black Friday starts a day early at Best Buy, with doors opening at 5 p.m. on Thursday, closing at 1 a.m. on Friday, and re-opening at 8 a.m. Friday. You’ll find doorbuster deals on the expected (TVs, video games) and the unexpected, like a KitchenAid Professional Series Stand Mixer for just $219. Check out Best Buy’s Black Friday ad here.

Build-a-Bear: Black Friday at Build-a-Bear will include BFD. (Ahem, Big Furry Deals.) Look for $6 Snow Hugs Penguins while supplies last, and BOGO deals on other furry friends.

Home Depot: Home Depot’s Black Friday ad will drop Wednesday. Get a $5 coupon ahead of time by signing up via their website for email or text sale alerts. Yahoo! reports that one deal will include $500 off of six more appliances (Is it time for a kitchen makeover?) or $60 off two.

JcPenney: JcPenney might have the earliest Black Thursday hours of the bunch, with doors opening at 2 p.m. on Thursday. (And Black Friday deals all-day Thursday at jcp.com.) Early in-store shoppers could score coupons ($10 to $500 dollars off) while supplies last. (Obviously restrictions apply. We’re not the legal department.)

Kohl’s: Kohl’s Black Friday deals come with an added incentive: For every $50 you spend between Nov. 19 and 23, you’ll get $15 Kohl’s Cash that you can spend between Nov. 24 and Dec. 5. So you’re basically being paid to shop. While they’ll have limited-quantity, limited-time in-store doorbusters starting at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving, it seems like all of their deals will be available online, too, starting at 12:01 a.m. on Thanksgiving, so if you know your way around the “Add to Cart” button, you can get your savings pre-dinner without leaving the house.

Macy’s: You can hit Macy’s for Black Friday deals after your turkey dinner wraps: Macy’s is just giving away the gifts starting at 5 p.m. Thursday. If you have the patience to deal with mail-in rebates, you can get home goods (slow cookers, glassware, pillows), clothing (slippers, T-shirts), and more for $0 post-rebate. Additional items (a coffee pot and an assortment of pots and pans) will cost $7.99 each after mail-in rebate. Stores will re-open for actual Black Friday at 6 a.m. Expect deep discounts in every department.

Modell’s: If someone on your holiday shopping list is in the market for sweats, head to Modell’s at 6 p.m. Thursday for Black Friday doorbusters, including select Champion tops and bottoms starting at $10. Look for additional deals on all your favorite workout-clothing brands—plus, sneakers and sports equipment.

Target: In-store Black Friday deals begin on Thanksgiving at Target, too, with doors opening at 5 p.m. on Thursday, closing at 1 .m. on Friday, and re-opening at 7 a.m. Friday. You’ll find in-store-only doorbuster deals on phones, speakers, and more tech items—and all televisions. Check out Target’s Black Friday ad here.

Walmart: Walmart’s getting in on the Black Thursday action, too, opening its doors at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Download the Walmart app for a store map that will point you to the best deals—expect big savings on tech and toys—and tell you where and when complimentary coffee, hot cocoa, and cookies will be served at your Walmart.

Black Friday Deals 2018: Everything We Know So Far

Black Friday 2018 is almost upon us, and the deals are plentiful so rev up the shopping engines and have your credit card handy.

As any seasoned shopper knows, it’s never too early to start planning your strategy for the day that brings out millions of folks out in search of a good deal. The Best Coats From Bloomingdale's Black Friday Sale

Buying a winter coat isn’t a decision made lightly—after all, they’re a wear-them-for-years investment, unlike that ruffly, trendy off-the-shoulder top you grabbed at some fast-fashion retailer over the summer that has since been discarded. That’s why Black Friday sales are the perfect opportunity to fall in love with a coat at first sight without feeling guilty about the price tag: Yes, they’re still more expensive than other types of apparel, but the slashed prices plus additional discounts you can get during those post-Thanksgiving shopping events mean the topper of your winter dreams is finally within reach. This year, Bloomingdale’s is serving up some killer deals on all sorts of winter coat styles, whether you’re into a chicly minimalist forest green overcoat from Sandro or a sporty quilted bomber from Rihanna‘s FENTY Puma collection. Either way, get shopping—although your brand-new coat might last you a long time, these prices and styles definitely won’t. Check out our favorites.

Amazon Black Friday 2017 Beauty Deals: What to Expect

The countdown to Black Friday 2017 is almost here, and we’ve combed through—no lie—hundreds of discounts to bring you what’s actually worth your time and money (see the full list here). But we’ve saved the best for last: Amazon Black Friday deals.

As we all know, Amazon is the website of wonders untold: nothing can dull the excitement of typing “face mask” into the site’s search bar and coming up with the weirdest, potentially best product you’ve ever tried. So come Black Friday and its onslaught of deals, online shopping on the site gets even more dangerous. (To put things in perspective, last year Amazon took 36% of all online Black Friday sales). So what can you expect from 2017’s Amazon Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals? Like Sephora, the retailer is releasing its full sale details on the day of Black Friday—but, lucky for us, a few of the cuts have leaked ahead of time. Here’s what you can plan for, so far.

Jin Soon’s polish is beloved for both its ultra-smooth formula and gorgeous shades, and priced down 40%, this forest green is the ideal winter neutral. Meanwhile, this black and white topcoat is the quickest way to convince your friends that you have time for regular manicures. The best part: it works over bare nails, and skips the whole chipping problem.

Shop: JINsoon A La Mode Collection Nail Lacquer in Metaphor and Motif, $10.80 each (orig. $18)

You likely know someone who lives and dies by her Clarisonic. The cleansing brush is a gold standard for exfoliation and getting tough-to-remove makeup off—and its Mia 1 model, which features one speed setting for non-sensitive skin, is less clunky option than the original. Paired with L’Oréal’s detoxifying mask (a clay and charcoal combo that revives dull skin), you’re in for a brighter complexion.

Shop: Clarisonic Mia 1, Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush System + L’Oréal Paris Pure Clay Mask Detox & Brighten, $85 (orig. $138)

We’re heading into the days of holiday merriment, and all the haggard tough morning afters that that entails. These eye gels take puffiness down a huge notch, especially if you remember to put them in the fridge before you head out.

Shop: Skyn ICELAND Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gel, $12 (orig. $15)

Much less glamorously, winter months also mean chapped lips. This tinted balm draws on shea butter, aloe leaf extract, jojoba, sweet almond oil, and marine collagen microspheres to condition your flakes away, and it leaves behind a pretty wash of raspberry color.

Shop: Clark’s Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Tint, $11.40 (orig. $19)

And because dry air knows no bounds, that itchy, tight feeling is inevitable (and only helped by every office’s central heating). Mario Badescu never does us wrong; try slapping this on while still in the shower, and you’ll be set all day.

Shop: Mario Badescu Formula 200 Body Lotion, $14.30 (orig. $22)

This eye pencil set is an incredible deal. For $17.40, you get four of the brand’s waterproof eye pencils in black, black pearl, gold, and silver shades.

Shop: Lorac Love/Lust and Lace Front of the line PRO Eye Pencil Set, $17.40 (orig. $29)

Just as long-lasting, Jouer’s Crème Eyeshadow Crayon was made for stubbornly oil lids. The formula’s on the dryer side, so once it’s on, it lasts.

Shop: Jouer Crème Eyeshadow Crayon, $14.40 (orig. $22)

This Black Friday brings us a double-edged sword. Fans of MAKE Cosmetics, prepare yourselves: a ton of the brand’s stock is on sale, which always raises our “discontinued?!” alarm. That said, we haven’t heard anything yet—and we love a sale. Pick between the brand’s Cream Gel Liner in Bronze, its Silk Satin Lipsticks (down to $15 from $25), and its glosses, now $15 as well. If you love the formulas, maybe stock up.

Shop: MAKE Cosmetics’ Cream Gel Liner in Bronze, $13.80 (orig. $23)

And on a happier note, we found this mood-lifting pink lip gloss. ICYMI, metallics are our newest obsession—they’re just adventurous enough that you don’t need to wear much else, and so forgiving, they’re hard to mess up.

Shop: Vincent Longo Meta Lip Gloss, $14.40 (orig. $24)

We’ll add more great deals to this list as they become available. Be sure to check back in on Black Friday.

Target Black Friday 2017 Beauty Deals: What to Expect

Black Friday always brings us tons of deals, but few can compare to Target’s. In just a handful of days, those deep cuts will be sweeping the retailer’s aisles, and if you’re not out there grabbing the deals, you’re truly missing out. Last year Black Friday sales rose to $3.34 billion, up 21.6 percent from 2015—and at Target alone Thanksgiving day was the largest spending day ever for the site. Which is to say, get in there and get your holiday shopping done while the prices are low.

This year Target is giving us a buy-one-get-one 50 percent off deal on all beauty gifts sets. In other words, it’s time to clean up your shopping list—for your family, friends, yourself, anyone in this world that you care about. Below, here’s exactly what you should snag while the going’s half-priced. It might get a little crazy (an understatement; last year saw lines of 600 people at some Targets), but we’ve narrowed down the overwhelming options to lay out your game plan.
