The Bachelor's Peter Weber Reacts to Claims He's Breaking Social Distancing Rules

Peter Weber is known for breaking hearts… not the rules.

The Bachelor star is setting the record straight on why he’s continuing to go outside and work—even as the world is practicing social distancing amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

As many know, the 28-year-old is a pilot for Delta Airlines. And while many stars quit their day jobs after becoming a lead on the ABC dating show, that’s not the case with Peter.

On Monday afternoon, one of his Instagram followers asked him why he’s been “hanging out with people and flying.” His answer was simple and to the point: “Air service is considered an essential service so I still have to work.”

He added, “I’m quarantined with Kelley Flanagan and Dustin Kendrick in Chi-town when I’m not working.”

Fans of The Bachelor alum will know that he’s been spending a lot of time with Flanagan, and has sparked romance rumors with her in recent weeks.

In late March, the two were spotted on an afternoon outing at the Riverwalk in Chicago.

“They were right across from Marina Towers. They seemed to just be hanging out on the walk,” an onlooker told E! News at the time. “Peter was vibing and it seemed like, at one point, Kelley had his leg in her lap.”

Instagram Stories

It didn’t help that a couple of weeks later, Kelley made a cameo on Peter’s TikTok. Naturally, fans began to wonder if they were dating, especially since they were seen spending so much time together.

But a week ago, Peter put the romance rumors to rest and addressed his relationship with the 27-year-old lawyer.

“Are we dating? No. Do I love spending time with her? Absolutely. Could I see that in the future? Yeah, of course. I’d be extremely lucky and very happy if that happened,” he told Nick Viall during an interview on his podcast.

“Of anyone, I’m the last person that needs to rush into any kind of relationship. I just had an engagement that didn’t work out,” he continued. “I just was trying to pursue things with another woman that didn’t work out. That’s why right now, I’m just taking it really, really slow.”

In that same interview, he revealed that he was quarantining with Kelley and Dustin.

“Long story short, I wasn’t working so I thought I’d go out there [to Chicago] and spend some time with her, take her mind off some [family] things. This was right when everything was starting to hit with the quarantine stuff,” Peter explained.

Adding,  “It kind of just became a thing where we’ve always gotten along really well, and had really good chemistry. We just enjoy each other’s company. I just decided to quarantine up here with Dustin as well.”

Plus, he mentioned he’d feel bad if he gave his parents, who are at a higher risk due to their age, COVID-19.

Carey Hart Recalls Pink and Their Son's "Intense" Coronavirus Battle

Carey Hart has recalled his wife and son’s “intense” battle with coronavirus.

On April 3, Pink announced that she and her 3-year-old son Jameson had contracted coronavirus and have since recovered.

“This illness is serious and real,” she cautioned on social media and announced her $1 million donation to coronavirus relief efforts. “People need to know that the illness affects the young and old, healthy and unhealthy, rich and poor, and we must make testing free and more widely accessible to protect our children, our families, our friends and our communities.”

In a video chat with Ellen DeGeneres, the Grammy winner recalled her son throwing up, suffering chest pain and trouble breathing, describing it “the scariest thing I’ve ever, ever been through in my whole life.”

Now, in a radio interview with her longtime husband on SiriusXM’s The Jason Ellis Show, Carey Hart said his famous wife and their son “both got extremely sick.”

“My son probably got the worse of the two of ‘em, which kind of debunked the whole theory that this only hits old people,” he said, noting it “got pretty bad as well” for Pink, who has asthma and was having a hard time breathing as the virus attacked her lungs and chest.

Recalling how everything unfolded, Hart said he had returned home from Daytona Beach Bike Week around March 11 and the family then went on full lockdown. Hart said they started getting sick three or four days later.

After being home for about another 10 days, their son took a “turn for the worst” with a fever of around 102 or 103 for nearly three weeks straight.

“The kid was in the bath four or five times a day trying to break his temperature,” he said.

Meanwhile, the songstress was getting “progressively worse,” so they relocated to their Los Angeles home to be closer to Jameson and Pink’s doctors. Ultimately, their symptoms started to break and they have since tested negative.

While they figured “if one of us has it, all of us has it” considering they had been living all together, Hart and their 8-year-old daughter Willow never showed any symptoms and were not tested.

YouTube Star Jaclyn Hill Fires Back at Body-Shaming Trolls in Fiery Instagram Post

Jaclyn Hill isn’t paying the haters any mind.

On Sunday, the famous YouTuber clapped back at trolls with an epic Instagram post after becoming subject to body shaming. Sitting on her bed while sporting a fiery red satin pajama set and enjoying a bite of a burger, the post’s original caption read, “I miss the days when I chose to leave events early and isolate myself.”

Later, she updated her caption to address the negative comments she had been receiving and added, “Also, for all the people making comments about my weight & me eating a burger… go find yourself a life.”

Providing more context, Jaclyn responded to a fan in the comments section, saying, “When I posted this photo, the first 30 minutes were TONS of comments about my weight. That’s why I edited by caption. Now the love is overflowing the negative. Plus, I blocked and deleted a lot of people because it’s not needed.”

After sharing her post, the Jaclyn Cosmetics beauty mogul‘s fellow influencers and bloggers shared empowering messages. Nabela Noor wrote, “BEAUTIFUL.” Pointing out the stunning jewelry Jaclyn was wearing in the pictures, Helly Luv commented, “All I see is that BLING.” Daniel Preda chimed in, writing, “Pass the fries sissy!!! I’ll bring the face masks.”

In the past, Jaclyn has been very candid about her struggles with cyber bullying and mental health. Addressing her followers 5.86 million YouTube subscribers, she detailed her battle with anxiety and depression in a video back in February.

“I just have to say right now, I see the tweets and the comments all the time,” she told fans. “And if we’re being totally transparent and honest with one another, yeah, filming gives me major anxiety now because I know that every single thing I do, people are, literally, going to go with a fine-toothed comb and a microscope and pick apart everything.”

As she continued, Jaclyn revealed that she began self-medicating herself with alcohol to cope with her failed lipstick launch last year, which resulted in changes in her appearance. She added, “So, when people tell me, ‘You’re fat. Your face is swollen. You need to stop getting fillers.’ It triggers me in a way, like, ‘Oh, my God. I wouldn’t look like this if I didn’t make such poor decisions. I wouldn’t look like this if I didn’t hurt myself by self-medicating with alcohol.'”

Concluding her video on a positive note, she urged her fans to be mindful of what they write in the comments section and encouraged them to spread positivity. “Those of you out there that have good thoughts, who see a picture and watch a YouTube video and think something positive, comment,” she said. “Comment on anyone’s video or picture or tweet that you like. Any positivity that you can bring into the world is so necessary. If you have anything nice to say, say it.”

Selena Gomez Claps Back at Critics of Her Love Life

Selena Gomez is firing back at the critics.

Speaking with Interview for its Spring 2020 issue, the “Lose You To Love Me” singer opened up to Amy Schumer about her complex relationship with the media and how it’s shaped her life. While discussing the public’s fascination with her, Gomez shared that her newfound candor is the result of her trying to reclaim her story.

“My intention was never to become a tabloid,” she told Schumer. “So when things kind of happened that way, it got out of control. And then I was like, ‘Wait, none of this is true.’ The way the media has sometimes tried to explain things has made it sound really bad, when in reality there’s nothing wrong with the fact that I needed to go away or that I fell in love.”

Gomez continued, “I had to start opening up because people were taking away my narrative and it was killing me. I’m so young and I’m going to keep changing, and no one has the right to tell me how my life’s going.”

Still on the topic of the media’s perception of her, the “Look At Her Now” singer admitted that she can’t recall a time when she wasn’t under a magnify glass, adding, “What has kept me afloat is that I know eventually it’ll be someone else—and I don’t mean that in a negative way. Sometimes it’s been bad for my career, but other times it’s like, ‘Now I can talk about things like my depression and anxiety, things that I’ve struggled with and which I’m totally open about, because I believe in seeking help.'”

Eli Russell Linnetz

As for what keeps her grounded, Gomez said that she avoids what’s being said about her. The same goes for her music. As the duo discussed her new album Rare, Schumer was curious to know if Gomez had read any reviews of the critically acclaimed album and how they affected her.

“I’ve read a few, especially because I hadn’t released an album in five years,” she answered. “My friend sent me a couple of good reviews, and it felt amazing, because not all of my albums have been seen that way. I didn’t go beyond that because I know what happens to me. Getting into an internet spiral? I can’t do it.”

But that doesn’t mean that she wasn’t thrilled to finally share what she had been working on with her fans. She continued, “When I’m recording the album, I feel safe. I’m in a bubble, working on things I have full control over. Or if I’m on a set, we’re all just kind of isolated together. That’s definitely what I enjoy. And now that it’s out, I do think it’s been different.”

As for what’s next for the “Souvenir” singer, she said that she is looking forward to working on projects like Netflix’s Living Undocumented that inspire bigger conversations.

“I love music so much, but there are different stories I want to tell,” she explained, adding, “I want to talk about important things. I want the stupid questions about things that nobody cares about to eventually stop. Ask me questions about stuff that matters.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Stars Weigh in on the Denise Richards-Brandi Glanville Drama

It sounds like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars are somewhat divided when it comes to the rumors surrounding Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville this season.

As Bravo fans know, season 10, which premieres Wednesday at 8 p.m., will address those scandalous affair rumors between Richards and Glanville (rumors Richards has denied). And now, several of the RHOBH ladies are speaking out about the Brandi-Denise drama ahead of the show’s return.

“There’s two sides to every story,” Erika Jayne tells E! News exclusively. “Both of them will be told, and it’s ultimately up to the viewer to decide who or which person they believe.”

Jayne said she tried not to get too involved in the she said, she said back-and-forth this season. “I’m always going to pick Erika’s side no matter what,” she adds. “How involved was I? Not very much. Only in the sense that there’s the Brandi-Denise drama, and the reason why us women were brought into it was Brandi told us that Denise had been saying things about us as well. So that was my only dog in the fight.”

John Tsiavis/Bravo Media

Kyle Richards, who was surprised that Denise walked off filming at one point over the drama (a scene teased in the thrilling trailer), admits to getting a little more involved.

“You can’t stay out of these things. You know, you’re all together all the time. You can’t just sit there. We’re here to have an opinion,” Kyle tells us. “We all get involved because we’re all together all the time. And you know, it’s being talked about and obviously when this whole thing happened, which is coming up with Denise, it’s out there and it’s like we’re signed up to do this show, it documents our lives, the good, the bad and the ugly and it’s not always fun. After being here for 10 years there’s been many things that I wish that I they hadn’t shown or that I hadn’t said or done, but you know, I’ve never walked off. But it’s a lot.”

The RHOBH trailer also shows Denise’s husband Aaron Phypers getting confrontational with the Housewives over the drama, particularly Erika, who fires back with an epic line.

“That was definitely interesting. It was weird, to say the least,” Kyle says of Aaron. “But I don’t want to say anything bad about Aaron. I’ll let the ladies who got into it more with him talk about that, but it was a little weird. I never liked when the husband’s get involved.”

Beverly Hills‘ newest Housewife Garcelle Beauvais definitely made it known whose side she’s on this season. “First of all, Brandi does not go away. She does not go away. She definitely speaks her mind,” Beauvais told E! exclusively. “Lot of people believe her and you know, some people believe Denise. I’m team Denise. I feel like loyalty and friendship means a lot to me.”

However, Beauvais did admit of her longtime friend, “But at times Denise made it hard because she’d walk away from the situation and didn’t want to deal.”

While Beauvais may have wished that Brandi would “go away” at times, Kyle sings a different story of Glanville this season.

“Obviously before we fought and we didn’t get along well for many years. And now we’re in a completely different place. And I see her differently and she’s gotten to know me,” Kyle revealed to us. “So we get along now and I actually like that she comes in and spices things up and actually just throws these things out of her mouth that you’re like, ‘What? I cann’t believe she just said that!’ But it entertains me!”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns this Wednesday at 8 p.m. on Bravo.

(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family)
